PJ definitely surprised me.. but Bacon might be our best go-to scoring threat.. this shot staring at 8:50 was probably the biggest of the night:

Yep that was very clutch.

You're absolutely right.  Giving up 125 points is not sustainable.

neither is making a franchise record for 3's

but again, a terrific win on opening night

Like I said this will be a fun season to watch young talent development.. Record doesn't matter as long as we're getting a better picture of what we have now in the young guys.

This is the truth right here. More excited than I have been in a while. I did predict 22 wins and that would be fine for a young team. Develop the young guys.

We need a big man who can play defense and then this team would be able to build something even better. Hopefully they address it this offseason. It is going to be a fun season. However, many losses will happen. It happens with youth. Berrego did a good job coaching tonight.

Big Kat just rubber stamped that..

We will get crushed by skilled big men because we have nothing to defend against that..

Graham and Bridges combined 2-18 last night at Golden state and we won

yes they have no players, but a win is a win

Nice win. I missed the game but looking at the stat line, did Bacon get injured or something? Only 13 min.

Only saw second half...wondering myself about bacon and zeller

Graham is lightin it up this season. We can say bye to a top5 lottery pick

Still very early and a lot can happen either way, but I’d rather have guys like PJ and Graham emerge than get a top pick. These guys are also showing that Kup can draft good players outside of the lottery. Fine by me if we never get a top pick but can succeed this way.

    • Little was a rookie battling injuries with a revolving offensive line and coaching staff. No one should be writing him off yet. We have Okung this year to better evaluate Little in my opinion. If Little turns out to not be a good LT, Okung stays at LT and we look at one next year while trying Little at guard to see if he keeps a roster spot. I think he will be solid if he can stay healthy. He was one of the best pass blocking LTs in the draft last year.
    • I’m an Auburn fan and Brown anchored our defense. Teams could not run towards his sign of the line and he was still constantly getting pressure on the QB through double teams. Watching the Alabama game, whenever we needed a stop the commentators would mention Brown and he would be making a play. Kinlaw is a great prospect, but Brown has been playing at a high level for several years now. He could have been a first round pick last year if he left. I think a top 10 players needs to be a can’t miss type athlete. If we trade down to like 12 and Brown is gone, then I will happily take Kinlaw.
    • That might be the plan but Little is no long term LT....Might make a decent guard and that is a big might.  With the three top tackles on the board at 7th why not go after one.  The problem with Cam the last 3 years.  His lines were mediocre and they didn't protect him the way they should have.  With TeddyB as QB he will not be the physical presence that Cam was and won't hold up to the beatings Cam took.  There is no guarantee that Okung will make it through the year or be starting.
