Little was a rookie battling injuries with a revolving offensive line and coaching staff. No one should be writing him off yet. We have Okung this year to better evaluate Little in my opinion. If Little turns out to not be a good LT, Okung stays at LT and we look at one next year while trying Little at guard to see if he keeps a roster spot. I think he will be solid if he can stay healthy. He was one of the best pass blocking LTs in the draft last year.
I’m an Auburn fan and Brown anchored our defense. Teams could not run towards his sign of the line and he was still constantly getting pressure on the QB through double teams. Watching the Alabama game, whenever we needed a stop the commentators would mention Brown and he would be making a play. Kinlaw is a great prospect, but Brown has been playing at a high level for several years now. He could have been a first round pick last year if he left. I think a top 10 players needs to be a can’t miss type athlete. If we trade down to like 12 and Brown is gone, then I will happily take Kinlaw.
That might be the plan but Little is no long term LT....Might make a decent guard and that is a big might. With the three top tackles on the board at 7th why not go after one. The problem with Cam the last 3 years. His lines were mediocre and they didn't protect him the way they should have. With TeddyB as QB he will not be the physical presence that Cam was and won't hold up to the beatings Cam took. There is no guarantee that Okung will make it through the year or be starting.
