The local media should be ashamed of themselves

Yeah, Tepper more and more is starting to remind me of Gettleman.

When you THINK you know it all, everything in the universe has a way of humbling such ego.

If he puts the organization into a tailspin
is there any guarantee it won't crash and continue to burn like the Browns or Jets or Tampa.

He thinks he's going to re-invent the wheel. This could be bad football for a very long time.

Sad to see the franchise run into the ground deliberately.

Wrong. Healthy Cam with CMC and Moore = playoffs

Do they have a fire department in your world?

Someone who will come out and rescue a cat in a tree or a boy in a well?

Or is everything just run by the voices in your head?

Just curious.

Losing is for losers. The NFL hussle continues. Tear it apart and climb all the way back.

Newton tried to be funny.  He wasn’t.  It was awkward and cringeworthy. He has had a few of those during his time here   The outrage, however,  was a bit over done

It is a shame we don’t hold the President of the US, leader of the free world,  to as high a standard as we do a pro football player

all you have to do is win

What he said was obviously inappropriate. No need to exaggerate the fug out of it for a slap on the back from some neanderthals.

It was dumb, and obviously he shouldn't have said it. People were incredibly dramatic about it though, and let's be honest on this detail, it was mostly white people. I'd wager many of those same individuals probably think Ben Roethlisberger is a good guy. There is an unmistakable hypocrisy in the NFL on things like this.

They needed very little to up and run Hardy out of town and were waiting for Cam to f' up to do the same to him. The only thing he gave them was some funny clothing huge charity and a clean criminal record to their chagrin.

Cam was supposed to live up to the stereo type the fake news wanted and instead did the opposite.

I thought Jerry Richardson's one step forward two steps backwards was a scam. Now begins the "rebuild" where we're supposed to embrace an owner and team that's not really trying.

It took the Chiefs 50 years to get back to the SuperBowl. God bless the "rebuilt" Panthers. Hopefully I'm alive when the franchise figures out how to crawl out of the pit the NFL prefers for teams like the Panthers.

JR may not have been the richest owner but he did figure out how to stay above water in the NFL. Plenty of rich owners with bright ideas have failed since the Panthers two Superbowls in 12yrs.

Cautiously optimistic by nature but I don't feel good about this dismantling and disrespectful treatment of those who gave given their best years to this franchise and city.

Big Ben still has his job despite legal trouble AND more injuries than Cam. This fan base...Smh

I'm on a wait and see approach with Tepper and the new staff. If they move on from Newton I will accept it, but the clock starts ticking immediately. The talent we already have in place is only getting older and they will become more expensive to retain. This angst over paying a quarterback that has so many in this fanbase ready to push Cam out the door doesn't just end with that position. We will continue to face these "should we pay him" scenarios, that's the nature of the sport. But looking at any team in the NFL experiencing even remote levels of sustained success right now shows you can't start moving let alone get near the finish line without "the guy" behind center. The comeback victory of the recent Super Bowl champions defines this.

If Cam is truly gone, every single move we make from here on should revolve around positioning ourselves to acquire the next franchise QB. Few fans out there who have been around the block with this franchise want to hear about massive extensions at other positions knowing the most important position is in transition without a real answer.

I’m white and “Bathroom Ben” or “Ben Rapistburger” a good guy, bwawhahahaha. That guy deserves to be in jail. Can we drop the race card, please. An opinion has no color, but those who hear it do. If an opinion is put out there and no one knows the ethnicity of the one who states it, how different does that sound?

No one is forcing you to participate in any race discussion.

As far as Roethlisberger goes, clearly some people think highly of him. He's the second highest paid quarterback in the league, and he'll be 38 in March. Do you see the Steelers trying to run him off?

weird he’s a steelers lifer despite that. you’d think ownership would have wanted to run him out of town. say, who used to own a stake in the steelers again?

Not only are 92% of the Huddle posters racist, but so are Tepper, Rhule, and Brady, and the entire Steelers org.

Now we are getting somewhere.  Nothing like football discussions in the offseason

You're slipping Red, out of the 57 posts you made today, 2 of them were not race based.  You still have time to edit those two however.

Ben, however, should have been suspended for quite some time.
