just wondering out loud if any of the blue chuds would have had anything to say about it if bernie had said what biden said about “the african american community” and the “latino community”

i loved the never ending flow of bullshit articles by “journalists” who were “just asking questions” about bernie’s treatment of race related issues without ever providing any evidence. weird how those people shut right the fug up as soon as the party nominated the segregationist. hmmmmm

Individuals that want to get ahead in corporate media know when to keep their mouths shut, those reporters that challenge the establishment's narrative don't last long.

if that’s not what he meant then what exactly did he mean? the most charitable explanation is that he can’t control the things he says and that in this case the words that came out of his mouth conflicted with the thoughts in his head. while he very obviously does struggle to speak (because of his rapidly declining mental state), the campaign would never actually admit to that. so it’s just a bullshit non-apology from jim crow joe, the segregationist who proudly brought you the racist 94 crime bill (which he still defends in 2020)

if you think that the staffer who wrote this non-apology represents joe biden’s actual thoughts, you’re just the kind of rube they’re looking for. he’s already on record as saying that black people who don’t vote for him aren’t black. he very obviously does believe black people are a monolith and that he is entitled to their vote. yikes.

shitlibs will tell you that voting for the party dominated by people like this, people who are explicitly against medicare for all, is the path to medicare for all. they are lying to you. and yes, if one of your favorite politicians tells you otherwise, they too are lying to you.

Only 47% of those Black Americans under 30 years old that we surveyed plan to vote for the presumed Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden. That’s roughly the same percentage who have anything positive to say when asked what “one or two words come to mind” about the former vice president.

Cathy Cohen, a professor of political science at the University of Chicago who studies Black youths’ political views, summed up this attitude in a recent podcast: “They’ve seen the election of Black mayors, they’ve seen the election of the first Black president, and they’ve also seen that their lives have not changed.”

Such cynicism on the part of young Black Americans is reflected in the lukewarm feelings they tend to have toward the Democratic Party more generally.

Only 47% of them say that the party is welcoming to Black Americans, and only 43% say they trust Democrats in Congress to do what’s best for the Black community. Perhaps most strikingly, unlike their older counterparts, only half of those under 30 view the Democrats as any better than the Republicans on these scores.

In both the survey responses and in the focus groups we conducted of young Black Americans in these same states, we heard repeated frustration toward what they view as a Democratic Party that expects their vote but doesn’t really do anything to deserve it other than claim to be “less racist” than the alternative.

As one of our focus group respondents put it, “I think at the end of the day, they all have the same agenda.”

In short, it appears that for Black America, the future is not necessarily “blue.” Electorally speaking, it is not necessarily anything at all. Moving forward, young Black Americans may be the real “swing voters” in the only way that term really makes much sense anymore.

he was likely was attempting to reference how the two largest minority groups in America vote distinctly differently.

In the next presidential election the Republican will win about 30% of the Latino vote. The Republican will win about 7% of the AA vote

and we know that because that is what always happens. Even racist Trump in 2016 didn’t really skew that.

If you don't vote for Biden "You ain't Black".

Anyone that believes this way has a monolithic point of view.

When Biden tells you who he is, believe him.

Go check the math on election after election.  No, it isn’t possible.   Trump will pull about 7%.  Because that was Republicans pull.  There is literally no rational (even bad logic) that suggests he can double it.  Especially when we know factually he brings down the average slightly for Republicans in a national election.

lol at this fake ass right wing narrative (now echoed by the far left ) that Trump would destroy Biden in debates.   Debates that only Biden has committed to doing.

Debates will change absolutely nothing.  For every idiotic thing Biden flubs up Trump will double up with twice as much comical nonsense.

Biden couldn’t talk at 40.  He sure as heck can’t at 80.

and yeah, Latino and AA vote are distinctly different.  Latinos vote Republican at a rate not seen in the AA community.   I mean there is a conversation there.  Biden ain’t the dude to lay that discussion out.

debates don’t always matter but idk why you would think they would go worse for trump. biden hasn’t faced a single interviewer or democratic opponent nearly as hostile as the axios guy. he has meltdowns at the slightest pushback and god help the interviewer if they’re black or hispanic.

the actual “fake ass narrative” is that the “debates will change absolutely nothing” so biden shouldn’t do them. that’s certainly been the messaging being pumped out of the biden camp recently. and why wouldn’t they? they keep him hidden and do everything they can to keep him to the script. we’ve all seen what happens when he goes off script. it takes about 2 seconds for him to get racist.

this idea that trump would be afraid to debate biden is just further proof that we’re all just doing 2016 all over again
