2020 General Election Candidates thread

liberals think this way because politics reminds them that they are on the wrong side of history. that's why instead of reaching out with policy they sneer at those struggling. they hate politics because it's the only source of power many workers in america know. this is also exactly why they demand "peaceful protest" in the face of endless state violence. they want to be the oppressor but they don't want to feel bad about it. they want to be thanked for it. every bit of advice they offer is meant to preserve the status quo and assuage their own guilt, not to improve the conditions of the poor and oppressed. they hate politics because they hate the most vulnerable.

I must say that the roller coaster ride of Cooter's emotions ever since Buttigieg "beat" Sanders in Iowa has been very fascinating. From staunch supporter to staunch hater? I don't even know where he is on the politimeter anymore. It's like you're an uber far left version of Bull. You should run for office. Seriously.

i have been pretty consistent on bernie since 2016. it’s not my fault that you weren’t listening. when i said he was the compromise, i meant it. bernie is a capitalist and i have described him as such. i recall mocking him for his pandering to “small business owners” in 2016. i was willing to compromise in the name of “harm reduction” lol and wouldn’t you know it? liberals weren’t willing to meet me in the middle.

the question remains....exactly what political position are you coming from that they would hypothetically be meeting you in the middle of?

i am a socialist and i was willing to vote for a capitalist. if anything i was over compromising. liberals just had to meet me like 20% of the way but they couldn’t bear the thought of poor people getting healthcare. i will never make that mistake again.

Serious question.  I mean, reality is I don't give a poo what you believe.   More power to you.

But what does I am a socialist mean? Socialism is a very broad word in American politics.   I could interpret that very differently than you mean. There are many variations of what socialism means.   Is there an example you can give of what you would want America to look like?

any negatives you would conceded to?

GBJC, tell me real quick all the negatives of your ideal economic philosophy real quick. I’m totally not being a disingenuous bot by asking.
