I’m curious how the Never Biden folks think any progressive policies at all will be implemented in the next 40 years if/when the Supreme Court is 6-3 to the far right.

biden has already committed to not expanding the court, whether he gets elected or not has no impact on the supreme court

there are people more to the left like adam johnson here who have been pleading with the campaign to stop fuging this thing up. but beating trump was never the goal of the biden campaign so it falls on deaf ears.

seems irrelevant since trump is gonna get his rbg replacement before the election and even if he loses, which i find less likely than a clear EC win, he's probably gonna steal the election anyway. the better question is what will the "just vote" white libs do when voting doesn't end the oppression? spend another 4 years biding their time and looking the other way? or will they work outside of the electoral system? i think i know the answer but would love to be proven wrong.

If Biden wins and Dems take senate, they will have the ability to add seats to SCOTUS, as well as add DC and Puerto Rico as states.

If they don’t win, you’re looking at extreme right wing courts for at least the next 40 years. No progressive president will be able to get anything done unless they also have the senate and congress.

So the question isn’t irrelevant, what is the plan for you guys do get anything progressive passed that won’t be overturned by an extreme right wing dominated scotus?

yeah they would have the ability to nationalize the banks and healthcare system too. the problem is that they don't exercise their power to the benefit of the oppressed. joe biden does not support packing the court and i sincerely doubt there will be 50 democratic senators willing to go along with it even if he did.

Anytime I try to answer the question, I’m always met with “well well, Trump won’t do it for y’all at all, but there’s a chance that Biden/Kamala will” Then when I provide data and proof that they won’t, then you all go quiet.

Your assertion that no one has answered CK’s question is a lie.

It’s so funny that I and others are supposed to align with people like Harbingers and these Republican/Independent “new Dems”, yet, before all this they went against most anything that would have benefited black people. Those “Lincoln Group Dems” went against black people. Now, we’re al supposed to team up. F*ck that. I’ll team up with you, but I have to get something out of it.

Biden has said he isn't in favor of expanding the Supreme Court right now.   We technically he doesn't actually answer it.  But he refuses to say he favors doing it.

Which is the right play going into the election.  Saying that position presently doesn't help Biden win.  It hurts him.  Would just allow Trump to fear monger the middle about 20 socialist being added to the Supreme Court and paint Joe as a radical.    There looking to end insanity not to change the name of it. Joe should take that position right now and not talk about it.  Would just be a gift to Trump.

But the far left treats Biden word as gold only when it suits them.  Otherwise he is lying and is about to do the opposite.

“you ain’t black” -democratic presidential nominee joseph robinette biden jr

I understand the black youth vote not feeling motivated to vote but can anyone shed any light on why older black voters are so motivated to vote? You would think after years of being treated like an afterthought by the Dems and seeing your material conditions stand pat (at best) they would start to become more disaffected. Is the Obama connection really that strong with that generation that it lends Biden that much credence?

It seems like you asked one question but then the words you used around the question is a totally different question.  Many older black people vote because they can.  Period.  They lived thru a time where that wasn't the case, either for them or their parents.

Why they specifically vote Democrat is different question.
