NY and NJ have a 14 day quarantine for people entering their state. Are they making an exception for teams?

Yes because Baseball teams are allowed to play.

It makes the most sense for teams. That way they can force you to pay for the PSL tickets and not have to staff the stadium.

Does a virus somehow care that its potential victim is drunk or not?

Dude, you jumped to an entirely different rail there.

And actually, in the case of COVID-19 it may create a host of problems, from putting yourself into a less protective situation (no mask, no distancing) to what appears to be a decreased resistance to and more severe response from the virus itself.

Viruses don't care, they can't being the incredibly simple organisms they are. They just go where they are taken and latch hold of whatever environment they end up in... sometimes that kills human beings, mainly the unwise or stupid, but potentially everyone.

Panthers have already said they'll refund money if games are cancelled or fans are not allowed to attend.

The first domino has fallen, it won't be long before others follow.   They almost have to for a level playing field.  I can't see the NFL allowing some teams with fans while other teams go without fans at home.

well stated.......remember when the NBA first reacted to the virus and it practically forced the hands of everyone else to act because if you didn't then you became the problem..............

Same here.......one team says no fans...............they will all start and any team that doesn't will become the problem and the crap hits the fan then.........stick a fork in it..........NFL tickets can be used to lined bird cages this year.

What I want to know is the important questions. How is NY expecting people to Quarantine visiting there state. How are they going to know you are even visiting. New York is New York. North Carolina is North Carolina. Two different regions and two different numbers of spread.

Shouldn't this fall under Interstate Commerce and have to be regulated by the Feds and not the state?

There's virtually no enforcement of the quarantine and now not even of the masks in NY. Businesses might call police if someone refuses to wear one but that's about it. You'd have to tell a cop you broke the travel rule to get fined.

Yeah and I assume I can also just maintain a credit for next year.

I think they have at least 10 fans if not more.

You think the feds should be responsible for enforcing a particular states policy?

Not everyone is as nice as Tepper. This is what he does as a hobbie.

lol...had not finished my 1st cup of coffee yet.  Those states have been coordinating through this.  Bet NJ announces the same.

Tell them, "Not when they are on the road in Buffalo..."

You can win this.

Now every team will know what the home field advantage is in Jacksonville.
