Stat Correction: Teddy Most Accurate

Recommended Posts

Yac yards are the most secure way to advance the ball in the passing game. Whoever tries to use it as a way to negate Teddy's success, comes off looking petty. It is not the end of the world if the Panther's offense have found a way to remain competitive while waiting for the defense to find it's way, and our home run hitter heals up.

These look off but you have the wrong stat highlighted. Should be the next box over. That 5.3.

Those are average air yards per completion (the 3rd column is air yards per attempt which makes much more sense since Teddy's accused of not looking deep but at the same time we acknowledge that the offense is schemed short like NO's (he's #22)).

He’s 28th in the NFL in completed air yards. He dumps off passes and keeps them typically to within five yards of the line of scrimmage. When you have receivers who can run you can do that.

You were very clear that he was 28th in completed air yards when he is in actuality 15th. If you meant a completely different stat, that's on you to correct. :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

Out defense is ahead of our offense.

How about you don’t tell me how to fan.

Just using stats to back my statement. Not trying to tell you how to be fan, and hope you have a great rest of your day.

Apologies. I did in fact mean air yards per completion. Pulled from here:

Drew Brees and Micheal Thomas have won this division 3 years in a row slant routing us to death.

And Atlanta killed us for years while throwing it deep. We have been a bad defense for too long.

Theres a difference between a dumpoff and hitting guys in stride, his ball placement is perfect

Some panther "fans" and I use that term loosely will never accept Teddy no matter how well he plays. Just let them go it's not worth it. Eventually they may leave if Teddy plays well enough to keep the job long term.

You can do both. And Teddy has been great at both. Our receivers and back have also been great at breaking tackles which helps even more.

People can be critical of a player and still love the team. You can love your wife and still be annoyed she doesn’t use any salt when cooking. I can still enjoy her meals but it would be even better if she could just improve at that one little thing.

Bogus our team is playing complimentary football. The offense has been able to go on these long 11, 12, 13 play sustaining drives, keeping our defense fresh and limiting the opportunity for opposing offenses.

Our defense is in the top half of the NFL right now. Our offense is in the bottom half of the NFL.

Teddy's only problem is we dont have a red zone target to throw to.  If we had a player similar to Olsen his numbers would look even better

And how many division titles has Atlanta won? Dan Quinn owning Rivera is not evidence of anything.

Would love to see us draft Kyle Pitts from Florida to fix that.
