And because we get a different report on his favorite spots every week I'm thinking there isn't really any strong preference on his part. If Houston does ship him the hard balling they're doing now is to wear him down until he's desperate enough to accept whatever trade they want.

Took an act of God. Before CMC went down Samuel's RB abilities were an afterthought. An end-around play in the backfield every once in a blue to be cute. I just think it's super disappointing and kind of strange that we have this Madden playing college hotshot OC who can't figure out how to scheme two gadget players together. Christian and Curtis could be a RB/WR tandem like the league's never seen if they put some thought into it.

Great question OP. Both historic seasons. LaMelo led all rookies in point/rebounds/steal/assists going into the All-Star break and no one else has done that in 60 years. Saw some other stat that was just him, Steph Curry, and Jason Kidd alone on the list. The Lebron/Cam comparison is great. He was putting the team on his back a lot, which is much crazier for one football player to do versus one basketball player. LaMelo's awesome but this season is a perfect storm for the Hornets in general. Take him out and this is still probably the best group of shooters Charlotte's ever had on the floor.

He missed the preseason and part of camp his rookie season so I don't blame Rivera for bringing him along slowly initially. Then he went on IR week 10. Then Cam went under the knife after the season. So there's just the first half of 2018 really, both guys were coming off major injuries, and we went 6-2 so there wasn't much urgency in figuring it out. I honestly think the current coaching staff, who I consider better strategists than Rivera's, has handled Samuel worse. You have Christian McCaffery, a QB you don't want throwing more than 20 yards downfield, and you can't figure out how to use the only 1000/1000 player in Ohio State's history? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

3 first rounders keeps getting thrown around. I don't have a lot of faith in us drafting The Guy in that timeframe. CMC was out for most of the season and we still managed 5 wins. The team is against tanking so we're not going to be like the Jets or Jags and positioned to get a top QB. And whether it's for Deshaun or a rookie it's set in stone that at LEAST one of our first rounders will be spent trying to get a quarterback. There's just a lot of uncertainty and things hurting our odds when it comes to drafting "The Guy" within the next three years, so I'd give away those picks in a heartbeat if it meant solving that dilemma.

He's been caught using a burner account to comment before so we know he's incapable of just ignoring it. You're probably right.
