Round 3: The Carolina Panthers select WR Chris Brazzell II (Tennessee)
Montsta replied to rodeo's topic in Carolina Panthers
You also don’t build a team on outliers that you’ll find a stud of an offensive or defensive tackle in the fourth round. That’s why tackles go stupid early. But we only get so many early picks so after the first and second round, you go for the potential. If the guys were polished, they would have been first or second rounders. So this draft we went for the trenches early to build inside out and took a flier on possibility and potential. Like the Raiders picking McCoy first pick of the fourth round. A guy if not hurt was consensus #1 DB year prior. Maybe he never returns to form. Maybe they got a perennial pro bowler in the fourth round. That’s what we did. -
Round 3: The Carolina Panthers select WR Chris Brazzell II (Tennessee)

Maybe the FO thought he was a good fit because every single deep pass in that highlight reel was severely underthrown and dude came back and caught them ultra-contested with great hands. Should come in VERY handy in a Bryce Young led offense. -
Round 2: The Carolina Panthers select DT Lee Hunter (Texas Tech)

So long as Canales doesn’t plan on playing him at power forward I think he will be ok. -

It is time to Consider the Likelihood of WR at #19

@MHS831 Even when the pimp’s in the crib, Jalen Coker still can’t drop it like it’s hot. -
I feel like we never have good luck with these not-sure-what-position-they-play or how-they’ll-be-used type guys. A certain Appalachian State QB comes to mind.

Panthers signing Packers LT Rasheed Walker

Lmao the Colts would do it. FA Winners 2026 HANG IT NOW! -
Can’t discount the aspect of players signing with a perennial bottom-dweller franchise for less than their consensus market rate. Anyone can sign a crazy contract to get the dollars, but when a team like the Panthers gets a top tier free agent without getting ass raped, it must mean the player believes in something about the team I assume.

FA Splash: Panthers sign Jaelan Phillips EDGE

I don’t follow the eagles much. This guy an edge rusher lb or a typical lb. Seems like a big dude making a lot of money to not be getting after the QB so I’ll assume edge -
Tmac apologies for using questionable word on live stream.

My wife is Hawaiian. Her family goes back to Ni’ihau. Dark Hawaiians say n**** like it’s nothing. And it’s funny as hell to hear because they say it like they say “bruddha”. I promise this is 100% natural to him and I can also nearly 100% guarantee that he says it around his black friends and teammates like it’s nothing. Just my .02 -
Panthers have a Jalen Coker problem.

Rozeboom shouldn’t get a dime until he cuts his hair. Sorry not sorry. Long hair on dudes only works when it’s thick. When you got the stringy long hair it make you look like the pride of Disasterly Rock, a trailer park in my old hometown. -

Objectively, The English Patient IS an awful movie. -
Kohler’s steam shower system is friggin awesome. Was gonna build a sauna when I remodeled my bathroom and just put a bench with steam in the shower instead. I love it.
-
It’s gonna sound awful but do not underestimate the amount of NFL teams that will want to interview him simply to satisfy the Rooney Rule. It’s a reality I am sure Evero and his team are acutely aware of.

Your Feelings on Bryce Through 3 Seasons? (POLL)
Montsta replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
My biggest fear with Bryce Young is that he will always do just enough to stick around. He shows flashes and then drops a turd so the hopium is always there. Like his career highlight reel if you cut it up to some hype music and did a YouTube video would actually be quite good. His great plays really, really look good. But after that video you look at his yearly averages for completion percentage, yardage, touchdowns, and virtually every other metric and it is meh as fug. Like you know Bryce is gonna be 13/23 for 157 yards a touchdown and probably a pick. I will 100% give him his flowers for his athleticism and ability to scramble outside the pocket. I haven’t seen the mythical “super processing ability” he was touted for per se, but he has shown flashes of absolutely elite awareness when it comes to scrambling. The little basketball move he does to shake defensive linemen has almost become a signature move. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it he stops on a dime and pivots like he is gonna hit a step back jumper and it has gotten him out of a lot of trouble. I sincerely, truly, as a vocal Bryce HATER, hope that since we are obviously running with him next year the coaching staff actually tailors plays around his strengths. He needs to be in a pure spread IMO. His size is much less of a hindrance when he can play QB in open space. I feel like most of his highlight reel is from scrambles and play action/bootlegs. -
What’s the saying about not attributing to malice what can be attributed to stupidity or something like that? Dude didn’t throw it, he is just catastrophically bad at his job.

Don’t understand with 2:37 left and both teams with three timeouts why you wouldn’t let them burn you over the top. Who cares if Nakua torches you for a 70 yard touchdown? Then you’re down 3 with like 2:12 and three timeouts. You can’t let them complete 5 of 5 passes underneath while milking two minutes it really is inexcusable.
-
Would absolutely fug with Goedert. Solid receiving tight end to open everything up for Coker and McMillan I would fug with that for sure.
-
But we would need a FA established Tight End then if that’s the route we want to take. We can’t wait for a draft pick to develop and hope he’s Brock Bowers out the gate.
-
If we are rolling with BY as our guy moving forward we need to scheme around his talents and run exclusive spread offense. Like running a Gus Malzahn or Todd Monken offense.

Ekwonu with probable significant knee injury….
Montsta replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Him and Hunt both got hurt and the running game actually came to life with them out. The scheme looked much better letting Bryce roll out and do his thing. Not saying we are better off without Ickey but today, in this game, the offensive line to me looked better with him out. -
please god let Gronk be gone from any NFL broadcast.

There is a lot to unpack in this post and it hurts my feelings that I don’t know what you’re referring to.
