Observer Projections / *Updated Panthers Waiver Additions
Super Grateful replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Deejay Dallas is a great signing, veteran return man. -
I didn't see anyone post about this, we signed Hendon Hooker to our practice squad. With Dalton hurt and looking like shite, could he perhaps roll into the season as our backup?

Level Of Enthusiasm Going into Game 1
Super Grateful replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
its always a 10 but the expectations are low, I'll be pleasantly surprised by any wins or competent play. I will definitely be finding ways to bet against the Panthers to cushion the blow... -

I think New Orleans has a dream plan to land him by hiring a young coach that with either bang or bust potential and opting to draft a vanilla 2nd round QB. maybe with Teppers money and willingness to hand that family the keys to the franchise it wouldn't be the worst option for them. -

Panthers team total under 19.5 points is the lock of the day. -
It's a preseason game, but...losing is not an option.
Super Grateful replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
yes, we do need to win, and by more than 6.5 points, because I am a degenerate gambler and placed a bet to make things even more interesting. -

I had no idea who Matthew Wright or Akayleb Evans were. -
My hope for an ending to the musical chairs at kicker is waning

I too have concerns about us not drafting one of the top kickers and instead waiting to rely on a UDFA from FSU to be our starting kicker. -
"go out and do the reports yourself", really bro? I live in LA. I rely on the dozens of college grads we hire to run our social media along with all of these losers that are paid to cover the team to provide content during the golden age of media. the social media team is only posting extremely zoomed in videos of one or two plays like we're hiding some sort of super secret plays that people can pay $5 bucks to video from the stands lmfao. I think that people like you are having trouble separating the two topics here: the huddle is the huddle, I'm in my mid thirties too, have 3 kids and a business, I get that not everyone can be on here, but yeah I thought it was a little sad that there was no thread for fan fest. It's nostalgic to log back in here some times and see people chatting about it. I get that we suck, but still. we have always low key sucked minus a few great seasons. the main topic is the lack of coverage on the team on social media. yes, after some further digging I was able to find videos from some awesome fans that recorded videos from the stands, but like I said this crap used to be streamed and we would have actual videos of the TD by Jimmy Horn instead of a weird angle on an iphone or a super zoomed in version for some weird reason. I understand that this board is probably dead in the water and I need to go to tiktok now for my team coverage, but it's almost as if our teams shitty social media and our shitty beat writers are the reason for that. at the end of the day, the panthers only exist because of it's fans, give us what we're looking for, don't make me hunt for it, and I have every right to bitch about it because this is a fan forum for an entertainment source.

I have been frequenting the huddle for years, there used to be a fan fest thread with several pages of posts from people attending, highlights and more. now there is nothing. the huddle is not only a reflection of it's declining fan interaction and fan interest but also an extension of the lack of of the teams social media coverage, twitter, etc. I think I even remember being able to stream fan fest, what has changed? we have more social media employees than ever and live in a era where social media coverage has quite literally become the heart and soul of fandom for anything. why is there less coverage than 2005?

what the hell has happened to coverage on this team? fan fest used to be like a mini preseason game. no thread on here, and only a few tweets from our beat writers on twitter? no videos? in a time where we have more social media coverage and options, why does it feel like I'm having to do forensic research to find anything on my team other than a zoomed in slow motion play from camp? sad, really.
