I have said for some time now we're taking a QB in the 2023 draft. Unless and until I see Baker out there lighting it up at BOA, I'm sticking with my prediction. Pairing DJ with another top quality WR would be criminally stupid if Baker is so useless that we're drafting in the top 10 yet again. That means Baker is Darnold level bad, or worse. The guy who wrote this article wanted to draw attention by predicting some other more popular team drafting a QB. No doubt about it.

1.) Baker throwing too many picks. 2.) The o-line not pass blocking well. 3.) Injury to CMC. 4.) Injury to Baker due to worry number 2.

We collected too many f%cking QBs and that led to Matt out there running around with worthless o-linemen from our disastrous season and a fatass RG who was NOT in shape in any way after that being a known issue.

And Erving is already injured.

We can either cut PJ and just go with 2 QBs which is fine. Or we can put PJ on the practice squad and go with 2 QBs. I doubt we go with 3 QBs because if we lose Baker and Sam then what good would PJ do for our season?

I thought he was going to slim down. Guess he had other plans.

I decided to look at Neal and see what's wrong because he was so good in college. Found the problem. The DEs he's going against are grabbing his jersey and pulling on it to throw him off balance or throw him on the ground. He is not used to that and defensive holding is not being called, so it's the tricks of the trade that are getting him.

It's pretty obvious what we're doing with our o-line. This is more of a run blocking o-line built for CMC. The plan is probably to play action pass to CMC once he gets going, and then throw out of that. We're going to try to maul teams with monsters like Ickey and Moton, and in the middle we'll use violence pulling like you saw in the clip in this thread. That can lead to injuries but also set CMC on fire for big gains. Smashing into guy leading with your head and going flying to the turf does not make for a long career, put it that way.

I guess Brown can just roll his way out of here. He's cut for sure.

Corral looks small and confused, but this isn't the end of his story. He could end up anywhere from a backup or to a starter. I've been saying all along that we're taking a QB in the 1st round of the 2023 NFL draft, and I still think that is the case. Early on Corral looks like a backup at best.

Corral's quick release is a good trait.

Ickey is a damn wild bull in run blocking.

His pass blocking in college looked beautiful, but you never know about that NFL transition.

Shi Smith has looked so good at punk returns. Fighting for s pot.

I thought Neal looked like a better pass blocker than Ickey in the draft, but Fitt saw something in Ickey to want him badly.
