  1. Well it's about time. It was clear as day that Mayfield was the best QB on the roster. Had we had a normal preseason and our QB room was Mayfield, Darnold, Corral and PJ bringing up the rear. We could have given the rookie a little more Reps. But No, we had to play this charade that Darnold was equal to Baker.
  2. If we stay healthy our starting line up is quite good. Offensively, CMC has to stay healthy. Mayfield is only going to get better as he learns this offense. Defensively if our DL can stop the run our DBs are going to reinvent "Thieves Avenue" And Rhule needs to let McAdoo and Snow run the team and just stay out of their way. Sadly, I don't see that happening.
  3. Agreed for the most part. If they choose someone over Barnes I believe he was slip through waivers and make the PS, at least initially.
  4. I know we just signed Roberts because he is a great return man but honestly I think we could part ways with him and give the job to Shi. Smith. He looks electric in the return game. He's one of those players you hold your breath on when he has the ball. One miscue or a small opening and he could take it to the house.
  5. Sadly I think Jordan is going to be safe because he (supposedly) is a good run blocker and we'll probably be run heavy this year. As far as veterans go. Erving and Daley. Kenny Robinson from the Safety position?
  6. I get the so called QB battle between Darnold and Mayfield at least at the beginning of training camp. It's been obvious for weeks that Mayfield is the better option. Rhule should have named Mayfield the starter and Darnold back up. Corral should have been 3rd on the depth chart and given more Reps than he has seen. What would Rhule have done if Mayfield goes down and Darnold stinks up the place. Which probably will happen. Rhule is now force to either get a veteran off the wire or put a rookie in that has seen little to no reps. Absolutely makes no sense.
  7. That is probably spot on. Forgot he was the only player that will make the team on the field at that time.
  8. This is probably the greatest interception I've seen in a tight game. kind of grainy but what an interception.
  9. Those words didn't come from my mouth. I know sometimes we disagree with these numbers. I thought you might have a different take on Mays. MY BAD.
  10. When you have a head coach like we do sometimes you wish you could turn the clock back and do something different. That said, it is only a conversation about how good they are doing. They both have big ties to the Carolina Panthers and something other than the 500 topics on "Fire Rhule"
  11. I found it hilarious he said he didn't know who I was. My poo count is full of his SH*T lol. Like you, he poo'd every post for like a year. I get if you don't like the content of my post and feel the need to drop a turd but every comment regardless what the comment was and is childish.
  12. Sure you do. You spent over a year pooing the majority of my comments. You are a child. It's preseason and many people post different topics. If you don't like a topic no need to say anything.
  13. Yeah, I am starting to believe the chain of command on this team is screwed up. We know that Rhule has more say than most HCs. I agree most GMs would have put their foot down over the PJ over MC I'm not surprised that Tepper didn't put his foot down on this matter too.
  14. I'm sure they do. McDermott is the 10th head coach since Marv Levy left in 1997. No head coach lasting more than 3 seasons. McDermott is going into his 6th season (2017-Present) I am certain they are very appreciative of McDermott and Beane.
  15. @4Corners Thanks bro. It's been so long since you poo'd my post I thought you were lost. Glad to see you haven't lost your edge. I am sure it is important to you to poo every post of every person you don't agree with. You're a classic.
  16. I'm in 100% agreement here. I am sure they had nightmares when they drafted Allen and thinking of how those clowns ruined a generational talent like Cam. Allen had his moments early on but is now thriving under McDermott.
  17. There is a difference between a 1st round pick and a HOFer. Far too many huddlers think that he's a plug and play future HOFer. He's a 1st round pick with the measurables and talent to be very good. But as you pointed out he's going to have to learn. He's fortunate that he has Brian Burns to go against every practice. Someone to help him get better. He's going to give up some sacks early on. He has the tools to be a good LT. Patience is a virtue.
  18. Crow is a bit salty but damn. I was on the bandwagon that he was going to be a good player once Campen got a hold of him. I was dead wrong. He was a UN-welcome mat for Corral's injury.
  19. Very true but if you watched the game. It didn't matter who was at QB. Buffalo is loaded top to bottom and will be a force in the AFC. McDermott and Bean > Rhule and Fitterer and it isn't even close.
  20. This happens to many vets that move on. They believe that their success is based on their personal performance and not the team. Many players are a product of the scheme. Josh was really good in McDermott's defense but was mediocre in Washington's D. We have Wilks back so if he was available I would like to see him here again.
  21. I watch the total dismantling of Denver by Buffalo the other day. It didn't matter who was playing the Bills were far superior than Denver. I know it was preseason and everything is watered down but Buffalo did what they wanted to Denver all day long. McDermott has them on the brink of a Super Bowl while we are still stuck in purgatory. Rivera wasn't bad and had 2 coach of the year awards with us but McDermott is showing he is the cream of the crop as far as head coaches go. Futhermore, Billy Beane who was hired by Buffalo one day before we canned Gettleman. I still am pissed that we let a good GM go when we knew we were going to can Gettlemen. What could have been.
  22. Agreed about the cluster fxxk we have at the QB position. However, Rhule could have made time to get Corral some legitimate snaps over PJ. In fact, I don't see, other than Rhule's love affair with PJ, why PJ is still on the roster at all. Rhule and Co. knowing they were going to have this imaginary QB battle should have gone to Camp with only 3 QBs and made sure the rookie had a chance to get some valuable rep. Who really knows he could have shown more than what he has. Corral in his 2nd shot at QB was leaps and bounds better than his first shot.
