Preseason Week 3 - vs. Pittsburgh (practice tweets, discussion, etc)
RevJ replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wish Canales would get as confused as Steve Smith and send in Jake instead of Plummer. Plummer is uniquely awful. -

I'm sorry, if we can't find a better 3rd team QB at cutdown our front office needs to resign as a group -

I think Jake's only sub 4.9 40 was when a Rottweiler was chasing him and his Bojangles bag, -

Perkins:It's that time of year when a new/underrated pickup looks good against 3rd/4th string and ballboys and the Panther fans call for Dalton to be cut. -
Team will never be good as long as Tepper owns the team
RevJ replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well, in all fairness reports are we have been dominating joint practices - for more than this year. Then we're told joint practices are much more important than preseason games. Then regular season arrives and we all realize it was all wishful thinking. All that's left is the late season mini-rally that keeps coaches and players in their jobs. And then we do it all again. -
This would be just a minor upgrade - short-term solution

Bryce is too fragile to have a competent backup challenging him.

Preseason Panthers v Texans official game day thread
RevJ replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bryce jogged around a little like he was playing freeze tag. Receivers acted like they'd already been tagged/frozen. -

XL may have taken boxing lessons and did throw a quick combination of punches but he also was put on the ground by the DB. Maybe his boxing trainers were of the gambling variety and spent extra time teaching him how to take a dive.- 10 replies

How bad is it when you beat Jerry Jones out of his "worst owner in NFL" status

I wouldn't quibble with the #32 ranking as far as how we function together at the present. I'd be less agreeable if it is supposed to be a ranking of what the players will be after some development.

But Wallace did get lots of extra snaps since last year's D lined up and refused to stop other teams. Seems like a couple of games our D was on the field for somewhere around 700 snaps . . .

Why would you follow soccer ?? Too much like freeze tag except when the soccer player gets a light tag they fall on the ground, writhe around, commence seizures and wait for the team doc to bring them Kleenex

BREAKING: Panthers update their depth chart (big changes)

Cam Jackson 4th string?? If that holds true it will make passing over Shedeur (to back up Bryce) look like a mistake -
Don't be so quick - could be this

Evidently, Fowler has discovered a new rule - if you are ahead and pull your starters while in the lead you . . .umm . . . win???

Never anticipated saying this but I'm ready to see Jack Plummer.

Hate to repeat / beat a dead horse but Steve Smith is much more terrible than usual. He starts talking and then he's like an old guy like me - trying to remember what he was going to say. Only thing worse is when he actually remembers and finishes a thought that only he can understand. Previously, he occasionally had funny thoughts and intermittent insights. Hopefully, just a bad day.

He might be able to knockout Jake Paul but the Browns DB handled him, put him on the ground, then laughed at him.
-
So, I'm guessing that's a "no"?

Thomas will make just under $2 million per reception and over $3/4 million per yard gained. I don't have NC Statutes at hand but it seems like this should be illegal.

I believe raccoons are one of those things that fit under "the more you chew it, the bigger it gets" category.
