  1. League just weighed in. Whatever Jackson said when he bumped Mayfield was so egregious that they have overturned our first win against Tampa and awarded them a playoff berth. News came in just after they fired refs for today's game for not producing the preferred outcome.
  2. Let's hope Shough's 2 INT give the OROY to Tet. He'll probably win and NY will call in and say Brad allen heard him forget to say thank you so he's ejected for all next year.
  3. Wait - Brad Allen has just tapped in and he's fresh off training for the 10 point play.
  4. Pretty close - good call.
  5. Could Kyle Pitts drop by and show our WR how to run routes to at least the sticks on 3rd down???
  6. Also, Cowboys player just ejected for ripping off opponent's helmet. Send that clip to Brad Allen too since he believes talking mean to and bumping a QB is much worse than pulling off a guys helmet.
  7. Please send clip of Pettis blowing the DB out of end zone to Brad Allen so he'll have an idea of what OPI is.
  8. Wish Falcons were running against our D and Saints had our O Line. Not used to seeing games where both teams actually block their opponents.
  9. I don't think it's hate as much as they like to pick the winners and they like Tampa more than us. And likely the other 30 teams. If it had been us against Venezuela, we might have avoided some of the bogus calls.
  10. Just saw Baker's press conference where he thanked the league and Goodell for allowing him and the team Mahomes/Chiefs calls and the game. It's an open secret and the NFL obviously doesn't care.
  11. The OPI on Tet was maddening but it's possible to say a mistake was made in the heat of the moment. With the dead ball foul, NY Main office chimed in to tell them that it was a backwards pass but did not correct the refs by telling them we "could have done the play over" . Brad Allen made it sound like we were offered the option and chose 2nd and 17 instead of a redo of first and ten. And Canales didn't offer much resistance. If he had, it would have lengthened the deliberation, NY might have determined it was too obvious a screwup and ordered the redo.
  12. I do acknowledge we didn't try different things to spark the running game. At the same time, when every OL is getting whipped by the Tampa D, it's just a difference between being tackled for a loss between the hash marks or tackled for a loss outside the hash marks.
  13. The play falls under "if they can't stop us, guess we will stop ourselves". It's another continuation of our staff and front office being the smartest people in the league. It's similar to Marshawn Lynch running all over the Patriots and then at the goal line Pete Carroll decides a slant to the WR would be brilliant. Same mindset as a couple of weeks back when we move it down the field running and then have Bryce try to pass at the goal line and throws an INT. It's like Canales and Co. want us to be amazed at their creativity so they run stupid plays like the flea flicker. The same logic picks "surprise players" in the draft so we'll be overcome with their brilliance. It's also a clear loss of context when we were on the move with standard plays.
  14. I'm not a Bryce supporter but he did pass for 60 more yards than Mayfield. If the inability to pass throttles running game then we should have locked down their running game. You may be referring to lack of arm talent. I've blamed Bryce for several losses but our OL should get a game ball from the Bucs.
  15. Only time I saw an O Lineman past the line of scrimmage was when Lewis fell on the toss at the end of the game. If you run all 22 I'd bet we had more OL on our side of the ball at plays end than on the plus side of scrimmage. They are very well paid but no longer earning it.
  16. The store - "The ball" (which wound up in Rico's hands) "went out of bounds" Actually - we screwed the pooch and blew the whistle and even NY can't figure out a way to fix it
  17. We'll probably sign Bryce to a league leading contract and bring in Joe Flacco for competition - until Flacco makes him look bad and we cut him.
  18. With all respect. no running back is going to gain much when the Defense is there when the handoff is. If any OL or DL (other than D Brown) make a high PFF score, then PFF should sell their web address.
  19. Mayfield outgains Rico and Chuba. Bucs outgain Panthers at a 20:1 ratio on the ground. It's not Rico / It's not Chuba - Our OL could not move a stick of butter an inch across a red hot griddle. Our DL wasn't much better - just pushed all over field throughout the game. Bryce didn't lose this one, we were beat in the trenches - again.
  20. So, tomorrow Falcons will have win cemented over Saints until Brad Allen flies in and calls a penalty that takers 17 points off the board.
  21. Not sure what we do here - BY can't throw ropes to sidelines
