  1. Texans gonna be down to their 4th string QB by the end of regulation... This defense is nasty.
  2. We beat the worst team in the NFL and a bad and depleted Saints team that was missing quite a few very important starters. Let's get through the first half of the season before speculating on playoffs. Because the Saints were thinking Superbowl just last week. Sam has played well, but he has played against two bad teams that didn't apply any pressure to him whatsoever. Lets see what he does when he is pressured against a good defense. He made a few bad throws the few times he was pressured against the Saints.
  3. They were missing Lattimore, Gardner-Johnson, Kwon Alexander, Michael Thomas, Tre'Quan Smith and whoever their center is. The equivalent of us missing Horn, DJax, Shaq, DJ, Robbie and Paradis all in one game. So yeah, a big chunk of their roster. Which is why I'm happy for the win, but not exactly ready to claim the World Beaters title.
  4. He is a clear upgrade from Teddy. You'll get no argument from me there. But that's not really saying much. I would expect him to make those throws because he is an NFL QB. He has no reason to play poorly because he has a ton of talent around him. The oline gave him time today for the most part. There were a few pressured throws there towards the end. Credit to Sam for getting them the ball. But I wouldn't say he carried this offense by any means today. I would say any average QB should be able to produce with this talent. He made some boneheaded plays that a better defense would've taken advantage of. He threaded the needle a lot today and other times he was lucky the ball wasn't picked. The pros are he performed well most of the game and he spread the ball around. That is already a major improvement over Teddy. He did enough for us to win and he didn't cause us to lose. Whereas Teddy did enough to not cause us to lose but did nothing to help us win. That being said, it looked like a solid team effort on offense today. I wouldn't say he put anyone on his back and carried them.
  5. I feel bad for the Texans offense come Thursday.
  6. Not sure how that's hating? But cue the circle jerk, anyways, I guess.
  7. On an offense with stars like DJ, Robbie and CMC... playing against Saints backup CBs... You think Sam carried the offense? He played well enough to get the win, but lets not get delusional here.
  8. He played against a defense that was missing their top 2 CBs and their best LB. If he didn't play well today, we would have big problems.
  9. tbf, that "real team" was missing Michael Thomas, Tre'Quan Smith, Lattimore, Kwon Alexander, and Gardner-Johnson and their center. It would be like if we were missing DJ, Robbie, Horn, DJax, Shaq and Paradis. Woulda been a different game. I hope it's the same result when we play them in the Dome.
  10. okay, he doesn't have to do push ups after practice this week.
  11. He needs to be doing push ups after each practice this week.
  12. We have a tendency to let teams back into games that they have no business in. See: last week.
  13. We have a tendency to let teams back into games that they have no business in. See: last week.
  14. Traditonal Panthers football. Never show up for the 2nd half. Never finish a game.
  15. Starting to think Baker fked his wife or something. He has no reason to hate Baker as much as he does. Lol.
  16. We beat the Jets by 5. We aren't exactly flying high, Scot. Saints - 31 Panthers - 23 We will struggle to keep up with the Saints and we'll miss another XP. I hope I'm wrong.
  17. I'd probably say the same thing if Charlotte wasn't awarded an MLS team. I think we are save from relocation for now. However, I wouldn't put it past his ego to try to change mascots while he is doing all of this rebranding.
  18. I have a feeling all of this is just the beginning of a brand reset so he can stroke his own ego. He doesn't really care about the product on the field. He owns a football team and now he has a MLS team. All about his empire rather than the product. What else should we expect from a dude that keeps a set of brass balls on his desk? I ain't mad at the dude for hustlin', but I'm mad at the dude for bringing down my favorite team as he does it. Never cared for the dude.
  19. billionaires gonna billionaire. S'all about that profit
