  1. I would take either one of them on my team. And just like San Fran found a way to pay their star DE. I would pay Burns, you don't let players like that walk, why? So you can try and hope to find another Burns in the draft?
  2. He's played 3 games The stats are what they are. He has 1 on the season Burns has played 2 games with 2 sacks.
  3. For all that dominating Bosa is doing he has 1 sack on the season, 1 less than Burns who stands at 2.
  4. Luvu doesn't get the sack if Burns doesn't move Carr off of his spot and forces him to step up in the pocket. It's called team defense. No player dominates every game they play what kind of standard is that. That fact if the matter is Burns is a force, the Atlanta coach was interviewed by the FOX reporter and said they have to make adjustments in the 2nd half to counter Burns. It's good thing none of you are the real Panthers GM. "trade Burns so we can get a receiver for timid Byrce Young" Sorry Bryce for sending strays your way, but man some of these takes are wild.

  6. Ginn was always going to be the #1 option after KB got hurt. Anybody that remembered the 2013 season knew that him and Cam had a connection. That's one of the reason I knew Cam might have a special season. The closest thing to a guy who could stretch the field for him was an aging Steve Smith. With Ginn that was going to open up things for Olsen and the running game.
  7. We had a horrible defense in 2020 you can't that failure on Bridgewater with Mccaffrey injured he was the only reason we were even competitive in a season most thought we were going to be 2010 bad. Had Robby Anderson looking like a probowler.
  8. Not arguing about whether the approach is successful. My point was when Teddy pass the ball whether it was YAC or not 7.6 average it was more efficient than people were giving him credit for. 4.2 that's dinking and dunking you need to complete 3 passes on average just to get a 1st down.
  9. To be fair that was the best game of Donald's career
  10. YAC isn't just a receiver making a corner back miss or breaking a tackle. Good Qb play and ball placement also effect YAC. You hit a receiver on a slant in stride as oppose to him having to adjust to make the catch that affects YAC. You could put alot of the 2nd half of that season on teams figuring out Rhule and Brady's scheme and them being unable to adjust. Bridgewater spoke up about their coaching or lack of which is why he got shipped out in the first place.
  11. Smae start, same 0-2 record. Not sure what's going on with Cincinnati this season they haven't looked good.
  12. Teddy B was actually in the top half of average yards per play in his season with the Panthers. The whole dink and dunk narrative about him was vastly overblown from disgruntled fans still upset about the Cam saga.
  13. Burns is going to make yall eat your words this season, he's been a force every game so far. Both Luvu and Brown have been beneficiaries of sacks due to the havoc Burns caused. It would be a complete failure of this FO if we can't get a long term deal done.
  14. Flores was fired, thus his lawsuit, so again any smart coach has no incentive to lose games. When you ultimately get fired for losing games. Hard to justify firing a winning coach. And likewise much more easier to get another job.
  15. What coaches said this? As big as sports gambling is in this country, that might be illegal to intentionally throw games.
  16. What incentives do the coaches have to compile losses on their resume? For some college kid who could end up being a bust?
  17. How does a team "tank"? They traded McCaffrey mid-season that wasn't a winning move. Do you tell a guy like Foreman on a 1 year deal not to ball out and try earn himself another contract? Do you sit DJ Moore down for several weeks? In 2010 the Panthers didn't tank For Newton, Clausen just wasn't a good.
  18. Quit gaslighting, Nowhere did I mention Andy Dalton was the new Tom Brady or the future of the franchise. I simply stated if he goes out there and produces we might not see Bryce for awhile; you might not like it, but that's the reality, it's a results driven league, and people careers are on the line, winning is what matters not trying to develop a rookie Qb.
  19. This is a fan take. It's not the way professionals in competitor sports getting paid millions of dollars to produce think. No GM or Head Coach in the league values "rookie development" over wins. That's what training camp and preseason is for. If Young gives us the best chance to win he's going to take the field, if some how Dalton lights it up and the offense looks night and day from the previous two weeks, you're going to see more Dalton going forward bottomline. Mahomes sat and watched his rookie season that didn't seem to slow down his development.
  20. Looks like we will find out Sunday, oh wee mayn!!
  21. I just want to see if the receivers are as bad as I've heard.
  22. As long as the Panthers can win on the road in Seattle and avoid going 0-3 I could careless who is taking the snaps.
