Yes as much I believe this is a move retarded franchises make, it may be best for all involved. Dowdle is clearly the best back on the team and they are clearly invested in Chuba and trying to pretend we have some sort of two-headed monster rushing attack (we don't). Get something out of the deal instead of letting him walk. And then I can know you're not actually trying to compete this season and find other things to do on my Sundays.

No competent teams would play their best players. Buffalo sure could of helped us out by rotating drives with Cook today. Instead they just kept feeding him until the Panthers will broke. That's what competent teams do.

2.8 yards a carry is not terrible?

Nor the future the way this organization is ran.

The best weapon Young needs is a running game. Allen didnt even have to do much today because of Cook, should have been our gameplan but our star back got 8 carries.

Corbett loss his job to Mays due to injury. This is a more of a 4 year contract extension just got signed vs 1 year deal. Even though 1 year deal is much better.

I've never seen such indept coaching in my life, if I'm Rico I would demand a trade. Let Bryce and Chuba win 4 games each season for the next 4 years. I hope Tepper breaks the checkbook and gives the biggest contract in NFL history.

Not so much Panther related but it is our opponent this week Nick Wright laid out an interesting stat and said no coach and qb combination that's ever gone to a superbowl has done so after 5 years of teaming up and never doing it, this is McDermott and Allen 8th season together, Lamar and Harbaugh also have been together longer than 5 and never gone. Cam and Rivera got there in exactly 5 years. That's an interesting stat.

Hendon was a 3rd pick on a team with an establish starter and superbowl aspirations, they chose to go with veteran Kyle Allen as primary backup. Darnold and Mayfield where high draft picks whose teams they were drafted to decided to part ways with them it happens. If Byrce get dropped by the Panthers you think teams are going to be knocking down the doors for his service? He may end up on a practice squad as well. So yea Dalton is playing today and if something happens in the course of the game Hendon will be taking snaps so yea the jury is still out on his potential.

True. But I think Panthers defense has done a good job the last few weeks of slowing running backs down and they've played some tough ones. So if we limit Cook it will be dependent on Allen to put in his super man cape, but then again the Panthers have the ability to just run it and play keep away, should be a good game. I have a feeling it's going to play out with Buffalo looking like paper tigers and lose 3 in a row.

Anthony Richardson has been plagued by injuries and what does his play have to do with Hendon. Richardson was a combine warrior his passing stats in college never showed elite he was drafted on potential. Hendon was an elite passer in college and is near the top of all time Tennessee passing stats. The jury is still out on what Hooker ability at this level is.

Coaching they have clear advantage. Roster depth I dont think they are much better than the Panthers. Cam was MVP level player but one man can't do it alone. Buffalo receivers have been underwhelming. Baltimore was their best win in the 1st week and they got gashed in the run game. The two decent teams faced NE and Atlanta they lost. Had a struggle at home against the 1 win Saints. They appear to be paper tigers.
