  1. Meh. I'm ok with it simply because I remember the old official Panthers forum when we "burned a 3rd round pick on a midget WR from Utah".
  2. Yep! One of my neighbors just broke a TV or a window.
  3. Well, I live up here & I was thinking of going to the grocery store tomorrow & recording myself asking the Pats fans if they saw the game last night, but I don't wanna catch them hands.
  4. Don't bring Hudson into this.
  5. LOL! That's all I hear echoing through the halls of my apartment now. Hell, I wasn't gonna go to the grocery store till Wednesday, but now I'm gonna go tomorrow so I can hear that poo.
  6. Oh I live in Burlington VT. A lot of them aren't neutral, they're bitter. I wish I had a mic that could pick up the neighbors' variations of "WTF!?!?!?! Why does Brady get every call!?!?!"
  7. A lot of the same people will point to Japan & how they haven't had nearly the problem we've had despite not shutting down like we did, totally ignoring the fact that in their culture the minute one feels sick, one puts on a mask.
  8. No. She has video with blurred out faces, while accusing multiple doctors of flat out murder while not naming names even though whistleblower laws would protect her if she had any solid evidence.
  9. He doesn't need any more. He provided as much evidence as she did. K. No, that's not it.
  10. Whelp! It's official. For the first time in 17 years I'm not gonna work. All shows have been cancelled. I mean I'm lucky as fug that I wound up in a position where this isn't going to ruin us or anything. But still... Fug.
  11. You're only supposed to listen to the Doctors when they say it's time to "end quarantine", not when they say "wear masks, gloves, avoid large groups, etc..."
  12. Oh yeah, I was thinking more about small businesses, low unit landlords & the like. (Albeit the big guys should be able to last more than a week.)
  13. I couldn't list all of the things my dad taught me that saved my ass if you gave me to the end of the month, but number one would be when I first started my business & he told me "You aren't ready to live off of of your business until you have enough saved to survive 3-6 months of rainy days without sweating." Granted, this thing as shown that not that many people did so, but still.
  14. Divorce, illness, lose your job, etc... It's surprising how quickly things can snowball.
  15. Absolutely. ETA: Hell, when my son was two I had him out in my wife's car while I was replacing her door handle, watching a how to video on my phone. Then he started copying me & scratched the poo out of the other door. I had a flash of rage, then realized I didn't want to discourage him from learning so while I took a deep breath & counted to 10 I remembered when I scratched up my dad's '65 Mustang GT trying to "fix" the heads... I opened my eyes & could've sworn I saw my dad's ghost running around the car laughing like hell & flipping me off.
  16. No. Not unless there's a crash of the power grid. The "internet eggheads" are pulling us through this. ETA: My FiL is one of rhose internet eggheads. He's the main reason I read & responded to this on my phone, & he can fix his truck just fine.
  17. If Trump has to come up here it should only be in the context of covid19. If its going to bounce around general politics it should go to the tb thread.
  18. That wasn't my post, but yes Trump & others should listen to the WHO in such matters. On January 23rd it wasn't a global emergency. What the WHO said on the 22nd was confirming that it could pass from human to human. Why are you trying to imply the shield was saying they were saying it was a global emergency? No. Mainly because he didn't put a general restriction on out of country travel as a whole. If a Chinese person who's infected goes to Italy & sits next to an American on a tour bus, infects the American, & the American comes home & infects others, banning travel to China just delays the inevitable. (That's also why it was a racist move btw.)
  19. What's the lie? The Shield posted two posts about the WHO confirming human to human transmission, & you're complaining about when they called it a global emergency.
  20. That's gonna be the biggest problem with this as estimates are all we're going to have to go on.
  21. Ok, let's say 2%. Now it's only as deadly as the Spanish Flu.
  22. Dunno about the elderly, but it's about 5% overall.
  23. I dunno. Get a few friends together. Everyone chips in. Instead of popcorn & soda have a fish fry with beer.
