  1. Near the end of 2013 that's what it was, and that's why we lost in the playoffs (in addition to the refs fuging us), but not last year. We targeted KB a lot and Olsen as well. Stew played really well on the goal line in the last 6 games, once we had the interior line solidified. If we had Turner and Norwell in 2013 we win that game. Personnel is a huge part of red zone success.
  2. That tie is the reason we were in the playoffs. If Cotch catches that pass it's a W, and if Gano doesn't miss a short one in regulation it never gets to OT.
  3. And it would've worked against the putrid Patriots front 4. They had an elite secondary and LBs and a poor front 4. You don't throw the damn ball.
  4. Bill O-Brien, Jason Garrett, Mike McCoy, and Mike Zimmer being ahead of him is laughable. I don't think Pagano should be either but that's arguable. The others I guess should be ahead of him for now.
  5. I guess that's fine, I think more like 12 is reasonable. He's easily one of the top defensive minds in football right now.
  6. Consistent with his statement that she was hurting herself and going nuts. If the photos actually showed anything that suggested Hardy had harmed her, they would've gone forward with the case.

  8. Yes let's be real and go off the only information we have indicating one way or another. Josh said Greg told him he'd play here for free. His social media has supposedly been Panthers fans pleading for the Panthers to bring him back all over it. I'm pretty certain he would've gladly taken a 1 year $6M deal here if we would've offered it.
  9. He could've said nothing, or maybe, umm, let's see.... made the correct decision to let him come back here on a cheap one year deal like he supposedly wanted to do.
  10. Exactly, if they had those pictures it's an open and shut case and they'd have continued to go forward with it even without Holder.
  11. His reasoning is bullshit. He's talking about "doing the right thing" but he's just submitting to media pressure. The circumstances around the case were so outrageous that based on the facts it seems way more likely he's innocent than guilty. If JR wanted to do the right thing he'd come out and say he supports his player and believes in his innocence. I understand not wanting him here because of the distraction, or bad public perception surrounding it, and if that's the reason then just say that. Don't play this fuging "we do the right things" game. And clearly JR and the organization initially believed in his innocence because they let him play week 1 while the legal process played itself out. Not until the Rice video came out and the NFL got blasted did they start "doing the 'right thing.'"
  12. I was hoping you'd say gold with blue polka dots. Is a plaid goose rarer than a blue goose?
  13. Alright Scot, I gotta know... What color goose do you think I am?
  14. No I'm talking only about people being unintentionally funny.
  15. Dex is a red white and blue goose because he's a closet Patriots fan.
  16. PandaPancake is the only poster here that has made me laugh more than once.
  17. I don't recall people hating the idea of Andre... I would bet Greg will be significantly cheaper though. And despite what you may think you believe, Andre and Greg are pretty similar at this point in their career. Andre may be slightly better but not by much and there is a reason the Texans cut him.
  18. He's actually been among the worst in the league since his injury.
  19. BPA isn't a set thing, it changes based on the landscape of the team. Maybe we'd take one of the top 4 but we would not take any others at 25. Have a feeling there will be a run on wideout and Strong won't fall, therefore no wideout in the first.
  20. Teddy played game manager his rookie year. He's solid and I like him a lot compared to other young QBs, but to say he's anywhere near Cam is outrageous. Trade Shula for Norv and see what happens.
  21. Our offense improved immensely when the line was solidified and Stewart became a workhorse. Jennings wouldn't be putting up 1000 here but he'd have a significant role in the offense.
  22. Wouldn't be sh*t without a competent o-line. Hoping Norwell, Turner and Remmers can continue their play from the end of last year and Oher can resurrect his career under Matsko, but we'll have to see.
