He’s so underrated, dude has been insanely good the last few months. We have so many options that he doesn’t put up huge numbers but on a worse team with higher usage Brandon could easily be a 30ppg player. The wrist and shoulder issues are slightly concerning so hopefully he can stay healthy. And to think I was one of the clowns that wanted Scoot that year. MJ was a terrible owner but thank god he left us a great final parting gift with Brandon

Moose is fuging amazing but he’s still below the “big 3” IMO. But yeah Moose and even Miles were huge losses while they were suspended. I think with those 2 we beat the Rockets and Cavs in those games coming out of the all star break. Still no regrets about what happened in that Detroit game, was a big character building moment for the team and even with those couple losses while they were suspended it’ll be a net positive in the long run. Seems like we have a great chance to get up to 6 or 7 seed but if we did meet the Pistons in round 1 I feel great about that matchup

Dude Kalk is so fuging good for a late picked rookie, holy poo

I’m on league pass through Amazon and you get both broadcasts, have to go through a few different menus but you should get both broadcasts. Do you have something that says “more options” to click into? It defaults to home team

Ridiculous call and review but whatever. Regroup and keep it up on both ends of the floor.

Combination of health, an incredible rookie draft class, improved depth, starting Moose, and really just a culture shift from the top down. But yeah the main things have been health and adding Kon
-
He’s definitely been steadily improving but he’s always played team basketball. The issue before this year was health and not having many decent teammates around him. Kon is having a great bounce back game shooting. And I absolutely love watching this team move the ball; reminds me of prime Popovich Spurs. Sometimes we make a one pass too many and pass up open looks but I’ll take that along with this elite ball movement any day. Moose is such an underrated passer too, dude isn’t quite a Jokic but he has great court vision for a 5.
-
He still has a ton of room to improve on shot selection and finishing at the rim but even when he’s “off” in those areas he’s still a massive positive for the team with how he spreads the floor and his court vision. And his defense has improved a ton this year. Turnovers and fouls are down this year too.

I liked Sexton but damnnnnn White is such a huge improvement off the bench. Love this hometown kid, hope we can keep him long term

Celtics reality check lol

LaMelo, Miller, Kon is easily the best young core in the East to build around. Key is just staying healthy.

I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons. Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).

It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.

I like Dungy. Yeah not very charismatic but has had pretty solid insight when I've heard him talk.
-
Sure we'll be involved in talks but I can't see any scenario where we trade LaMelo, Kon or Brandon. And I can't see any scenario where we get another superstar without including 1 of those guys. Hence my use of the word "realistically" in that post.
-
In theory I agree but tough to pull off in practice. I don’t think we’ll realistically go after or land a Giannis type, but getting another key contributing veteran starter like the Celtics getting Jrue Holiday a few years ago was what I had in mind.

Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.

We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
