  1. Did Northrop Grumman just flash our next-generation fighter-jets? Was that the "aurora" we've been hearing about for the past 10-years?
  2. All I know...is that the team who gets to face the winner of this game gets a free-ride to the AFCCG
  3. The Texans and Chiefs are the two weakest teams in the playoffs. I love seeing kick-offs returned for TDs, but these teams just plain stink.
  4. Star and Short are must-keeps considering their chemistry and talent together. It took us years to overcome allowing Rucker to walk. I don't want that happening again.
  5. Great reasons to love this "team." This is easily the most cohesive team we have ever had. Just wait till we get KB back and our ST finally gets on the same page cohesively. if we have this same team with everyone healthy from start to finish, their is no-limit to how good these guys will be. every game it seems like we have a different player step-up and make a game-changing play each and every week. I think it's Star's week to come up big and for Shaq to do the same. Would be great if Finnegan and Tillman to be solid as well. cant forget about Fozzy and CAP with their chances to make plays...and it will all come down to our OLine to make that happen. What a group we have. Outstanding.
  6. It would be a travesty if KK doesn't get ont the Pro Bowl and garner at least a few DPOY votes.
  7. 1. Spreading the offense only works if the routes have time to develop and spreading the Panthers out allows inside rushes and blitz packages by TD as Shaq/Klein pins the slot and allows Luke to be 1on1 with a RB or to mirror the QB and step in front of the Slot receiver if the RB commits to blocking TD. So the spread actually works to our strengths as new DBs can play man to man with a safety reading the seam. 2. Coleman is a read safety and clear-outs don't work without a crossing TE which opens up stunts for the nickel as Luke and Roman play the second and third tiers. NYG don't have a formidable TE to rub and Addison with TD are both capable of covering screen's while Luke covers the middle with the LE crashing 1on1 with NYG's RT. 3. There's a good chance that Roman plays zone on bunch formations and rarely jams the line. Luke and TD would crash the gaps in a zone passing down with CJ or Addison left to cover the seam. 4. This would be an obvious passing situation with a possible release if the Panthers go for inside pressure, which they won't, but you can bet the Panthers DL will hold the line and get their hands up, leaving a true man-to-man defensive situation with Luke and TD hitting any releasing backs at the line. Eli may be left to rush if their isn't a coverage sack that occurs or just a throw away play. 5. NYG doesn't have the personnel to play a grinder-out game plan so their defense is gonna spend a lot of time trying to get Cam to make poor decisions and will be keeping 8 in the box to try and limit our rushing attack and that's gonna leave a lot of room for a lot of possession receptions by Cotch, Brown and Olsen.
  8. Being without the #3 RB in the league, that you've had all year as your workhorse, is no loss to scoff at. Stewart's a solid 1/3 of our offense.
  9. Could this be the game where our dink and dunk offense is implemented to woo-the safeties away from Ginn and Funchess?
  10. We've got 2 sub-24 year-olds to run rough-shod over a terrible defensive front that's been banged all to hell all season long. thise fresh legs along with some screen passes to a 5'9 bowling ball is gonna have an effect early and often until the Beason-less Gnats defense just folds. They'll be so concerned about Keeping Cam in the pocket that they won't even realize that the pocket is where Cam excels and I can easily see Ginn breezing by safeties who are too worried about Olsen, Cotchery and run support. GMan knows the Giants...I mean, that is where we hired him from am I right? oh yeah, Funchess is looking less and less like a rookie each and every game and CBrown is no slouch either. Ed Dickson is looking really comfortable as well and is becoming a playmaker right before our eyes. i would say that our Panthers will be as familiar with the Giants as any other team they have faced this year and I don't rank OBJ any higher than Julio Jones, nor do I rank Eli any higher than Matt Ryan. Cant wait to see how CJ$ performs with that chip on his shoulder and how amped Ealy is after so many mental mistakes over the past few weeks. Just crossing my fingers that Peanut is truly ready to play and if Finnegan and Shaq can help create some coverage sacks in the nickel.
  11. Saved the best for last! Thanks Igo! when are we gonna be able to get a calendar?
  12. forgot about Harris...he had some good/great years here for our secondary.
  13. Allen and CJ with Ealy and Addison as rotational is pretty solid...just hope to get CJ back before Thanksgiving.
  14. don't want to hijack this thread, but Olsen, Peanut and now Allen! What kinda blackmail/backroom shenanigans pictures does Big Cat have with the Bears owner? Lions and Panthers and Bears...oh my!!!!
  15. I'm of the opinion that we couldn't draft anyone with his ability and experience anywhere in next year's draft, so it's like picking up a first-rounder for mid-level conditional pick. Great move and we really needed it. still hoping Ealy starts to prove himself worthy of his border-line first round pick and we can cut CJ if he can't regain his once eliteish production. Hate that Frank is out for the year, could really have used him this year. the writing's on the wall for CJ and Ealy and I wouldn't be surprised at all if we still draft a DE with our first pick in the next draft.
  16. J-No just became elite. Well..c-ya CJ and JStew and one of Star/KK.
  17. just hoping against hope our defense can bring the pain.
  18. Shaq's sideline-to-sideline/closing speed is impressive.
  19. gotta throw Olsen, Klein, Norwell and Kalil in there too...
  20. Just imagine...all this without KB and a barely legal Funchess. #BIG WINDOW
