  1. Would we, or could we afford to trade for this guy? Healthy, he is a #1 WR. We need receiver help. He's young and fits what we are looking for in the draft at that position. Thoughts? If they would take this year's 2nd, and maybe 4th would he be worth that? I'm thinking if we trade the 8th pick and get another 2nd or 3rd then this wouldn't hurt so much. We can recoup one of the picks we give SF by trading back? Just something to ponder.
  2. Warren at TE covers 2 of these positions... I'm starting to like the idea of drafting this guy. If we are looking receiver help at #8, make it Warren and not a WR. I still think trading back is our best option, we have to many needs to not try an acquire extra picks. Maybe the Steelers would trade up for S. Sanders if he is still on the board?
  3. Trade back unless Hunter, or Abdul Carter are available. I’m warming up to the Tyler Warren pick in the 1st. Just not sure I like that pick at 8? If I knew we could trade back to 15-18 and still get him while adding a late 2nd or early 3rd third, that would be ideal for me.
  4. Walker in the 1st or Stutsman in the 3rd or later… I’ll take Stutsman
  5. Losing D. Brown early disrupted everything. Not making excuses, but without him we were destined to be below avg.
  6. At least to me, it looks like Morgan has a plan. And that's a start for a turn around for this franchise. We will stop the run!
  7. Not sure what it would take, but I sure would like to get Greenlaw on a 1 year prove it deal.
  8. Lots of options at Edge and DT in the draft. I suspect we will sign a couple of each at that position. "There are only three safeties with five or more interceptions, five or more tackles for loss and 15 or more passes defended since 2023, according to Sports-Reference.com: Jessie Bates III, Kyle Hamilton and Tre'von Moehrig. He also totaled a career-high 104 tackles in 2024, and he's incredibly durable, playing in 66 of a possible 68 games in four seasons despite leading the Raiders in defensive snaps (4,066) since being drafted in 2021. Moehrig, who turns 25 on June 16, could potentially level up while playing with more talented teammates. "
  9. He was the 9th best FA this signing period. I think we got a good one. Time will tell
  10. I think we got another ascending player in Moehring... I like both of these picks.
  11. #9 FA this signing period. Young guy who is great against the run, so bookmark this statement. This guy will be a good pick for us.
  12. You must not have paid attention to our safety play last year, flat out terrible. This guy is young, decent against the pass, and really good against the run. He fills an immediate need and can step right in and play. We should appreciate this pick, IMHO.
  13. I believe Hunter and Carter will be 2 of the 1st 3 picks. If that holds true, who drafts the QB? Ward goes in top 3 then that would leave the Jets at 7 who just signed Fields. Would they draft him after signing Fields?
  14. S. Sanders will fall all the way down to the Steelers in the 1st rd. Will they take him? That's my surprise of the draft.
  15. Actually makes me feel a little better, knowing we weren't willing to pay 28mil for him
  16. Since when did Carolina think they can set the market for players? Ridiculous to pay him that much!
  17. If we can get Greenlaw for 7-9 mil on a 1 year prove it deal, I think we take that chance! Problem is, several teams will be offering around those numbers, and I wouldn’t want to go much more than that.
  18. Should we take a shot at DT Johnathan Allen? Just released, they couldn't find a trade partner. Maybe can get him on a decent one or 2 year deal?
  19. If Ward goes #1, the Browns will draft Carter, that's the easiest pick out there. They will bring in a FA QB to start the season. And who knows, they may try and make a play at Dart late 1st or 2nd rd?
