I honestly don't care who the QB is; 2022 is over before it begins. Much more concerned with the OL that will be blocking for whoever we draft in the top-3 next year. Assuming Rhule doesn't trade the pick away for Carson Wentz.

Ok why is Greg all of a sudden talking up Darnold and now this guy. What the fug does Tepper and Rhule have on everyone. Damn
Greg aiming for that $80 million guaranteed 1 year comeback deal.

I just feel like Thidobeaux is a bust waiting to happen. I've got no real justification to back that up; just a gut feeling.

If we MUST go somewhere other than OL, I wouldn't mind Hamilton.

Free agents sign with shitty teams all the time. Look how many FA's the Jags routinely sign. It's about money in the end for most guys.
Personally, I've never expected us to go after any HUGE names in free agency. More likely we're looking at a handful of mid-level guys on the OL; I just hope they're half-decent ones, unlike last offseason.

How did we get Frankie Luvu on a very solid deal, but are paying Ian Thomas $16M+ over 3 years?
-
Only thing I can figure is Rhule demanded Fitterer give Ian whatever it takes and his agent knew it and took advantage.

I feel like we just started 2021 year off again with pickups of Elflein and Erving. Is this a nightmare?
Worse; a recurring nightmare.

If this is any indication of where FA is headed... good lord.

Anyone got his blocking grade from PFF?

Jesus, just sign Marcus Mariota and get it over with. No draft picks given up and a reasonable (presumably) contract for a veteran game manager with some athleticism.

I'll take Tomlinson and Jensen or Jones at those prices.

I wouldn't trade him away for nothing; this isn't a fire sale.
But if a team picking in the 20's came along offering their 1st (and maybe a 5th or 6th) then I certainly would want us to seriously consider taking the deal.

If we trade Burns there's no reason we shouldn't get a 1st rounder for him. Maybe not a top-15 pick, but a pick in the 20s for sure.
-
He needs to either be traded or moved full-time to WR. I hate it, but it's just the reality of the situation.

Here's that word again...
Wonder who he got that idea from
Yes, having your starting left tackle be able to play guard is so valuable. What injury elsewhere on the OL would ever be worth moving your LEFT F**KING TACKLE out of position to cover it?

Steve Smith for GM?
-
1. Kenny Pickett
2. Matt Coral
3. Desmond Ridder
4. Sam Howell
5. Carson StrongI wouldn't consider Carson Strong in the 1st round.

At this point does it even matter?

Go defense in the 2nd and draft Stone Forsythe in the 3rd.

Tepper's #1 mistake was giving Matt Rhule full control of personnel. For all his faults as a coach, it's his roster management that has crippled this team and will likely continue to for several years once he's gone.
