Panthers have been winning games with special teams and defense, two things Canales has nothing to do with. He didn’t even hire the defensive coordinator. We’re in the second year of one of the lowest scoring offenses in the league, and that’s with Andy Dalton starting several games last season and massive infusions of resources into that side of the ball you’re not getting anywhere you want if you bc an only score points against the falcons and raiders of the world.

The last two weeks they’ve been boat raced by Penn state and Iowa. Rhule still hasn’t beat a top 25 opponent.

Even with the injuries the offensive line continues to perform well. Patchwork or not they’re protecting Bryce well and Rico didn’t have any trouble running it on the three carries Canales gave him.

And that’s the fault of math and I can’t believe he’s being let down by this. (seriously didn’t realize he was throwing that many)

And it’s not fair that other qbs are throwing less and making him look bad. That’s not on Bryce.

People keep saying this based on one game where the rest of the team played just as bad as Dalton did, he had a thumb fracture on his throwing hand, and his top line production was basically what Bryce does on a weekly basis. I think it’s easier to comprehend the current qb situation if people convince themselves that Dalton is worse but there’s really not good evidence to believe that.

QBs have to make themselves available to press. I’m assuming there’s some special considerations for prime time games. bryce has been an incredibly micromanaged athletes since his time at Mater Dei. I cannot believe they didn’t screen those questions. They must really believe their own hype. He’s surrounded by people whose whole careers are dependent on him not being a washout. Obviously not getting the best advice.

I just don’t know what other conversation there is to have about the Panthers right now. Like are we going to debate DB depth right now or whatever? we all see what’s going on here

Anyone that can throw an out route or a seam. Panthers are getting Nathan peterman lvl production from the qb position right now.

Panthers are half a game back. 9 wins probably gets you to the playoffs. We still have the Bucs twice and the saints once. The Bucs are rotting they have so many injuries. there is one glaring, obvious hole on this team keeping them from getting there. How many games this year has Bryce lost almost single-handedly? if Canales can bench Bryce and is choosing not to he’s an imbecile. If he wants to but doesn’t have the authority to do so then he’s not worth the position. either way if they blow this opportunity by continuing to trot Bryce out there then Canales isn’t worth bringing back

Pretty hard to feel bad for a guy that was basically groping women near constantly for the better part of two decades. they “went after Richardson” because he’d torched the inheritance plans for his team and was barely competent anyway. It was easier to clear the way and let someone pay cash than to drag it all out and turn it into another New Orleans situation. Of course we got stuck with tepper but from the leagues perspective none of his freak poo has come out yet and he’s better at hiding it.

Worst point differential in the league since being hired, doesn’t have full roster control, constant in game dumb moves, terrible roster management for the half he does have. But hey he can scratch together 50 yard game winning field goals against the worst teams in the league. Gotta give him that.
