  1. I'll be so glad when the li'l fellas photo no longer adorns this forum. I just hope I live long enough to see it gone.
  2. Just, damn. I missed that completely. Don't know how, but I did. It must have played before I tuned to the channel for the game. And you're right. That is cringeworthy. If I had been in the room when it started, that would have definitely gotten my attention. I mean, that thing was an abomination to the memory of Freddie and the remaining members of Queen.
  3. OK, I don't know exactly what you mean. I heard the music but was working on my tablet while it was playing and only glanced at the TV a couple of times. Was it the video they had the music over or just the music itself? I was a Queen fan back in the day and I still love to listen to their music. But I did notice that the images in the video flashed and went by quickly but don't specifically recall what I saw. i think I recall seeing images of Cmac and Brycie flash by but other than that, not so much.
  4. I would assume the reason they used Queen songs thru out the broadcast was twofold. One 2025 is the 50th anniversary of the release of their album A Night at the Opera which contained the song Bohemian Rhapsody. Secondly, yesterday, November 24th, was the anniversary of Freddie Mercury's death in 1991.
  5. Even SI is saying it's time for the Panthers to move on from Brycie. Si-Time For Panthers To Move On From Bryce Young
  6. Yeah, I've been noticing this a lot, especially this year. When it wasn't called, I thought it must be my lying eyes.
  7. 2 teams that beat themselves (Falcons and Packers) and 3 teams that suck ass worse than the Panthers.
  8. White was re-signed yesterday. Panthers Bring Back Mike White
  9. This is a rather subjective subject, and I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone about exactly where he lands. But I definitely think he is Top 10. But even a year ago, The Sporting News had Brycie Boy at #6. It doesn't really say how they came to their rankings but it appears they may be ranking purely by statistics although the article does mention the haul we traded away to get the #1 pick. I had forgotten about some of the guys on this list.
  10. The guy that blocked it actually didn't get through. The kick was low and the defensive player stood up and timed his jump perfectly. The fact that he was still at the line was why the ball got past the line of scrimmage which meant the ball was a free ball and either team could recover it. That's how we got the ball back from that kick. Which the offense then promptly fumble the ball and gave it right back to the Saints.
  11. Nah, I'm pretty sure that was Fatt Fhule's wife that insisted he pick Chubba.
  12. My God, look at how much bigger he is than some of those offensive linemen. Makes them look like HS players. And to be able to move the way he does at that size. Just...damn.
  13. The run defense has really shown up the past 2 weeks Dallas only had 31 yards rushing today, meaning the D has only allowed 50 yards TOTAL over the last 2 games.
  14. I'm right there with you, brother. I've been a Panther fan since the day the team was awarded to the Carolinas. We've had some good years, a couple of great years, as well as some low periods and no consecutive winning seasons. But I never thought I'd see such a period as we have over the past several years. It has gotten to the point of being rather apathetic in watching them. In fact, I told my wife before the Miami game I was watching just to see what new and creative way they lose another game. And early on, it looked like they would. But damned if Miami wasn't more creative than the Panthers. I'm now older than my Dad when he died (he was 65) and, like you, I've wondered if I'll ever see them have another winning season. I'd sure like to think I will.
  15. It's great when the other team comes in and kicks their own ass. And we don't do anything to stop them from doing it.
  16. Whether he eventually gets drafted or not, the Sanders family is having to drink a great big helping of "Back Down to Earth" juice.
  17. I'm feeling much better than I was at the beginning of the year. When he was benched, I felt sure he was done, finito, gone, out the door. And when they didn't trade him before the deadline, I was wondering what they saw the the rest of us didn't. But since he was put back in after Dalton's wreck injury, he has played like a completely different QB. He has earned the starting job for next year. Like others, I want to see if he continues this forward trajectory or if we need to draft another QB in 2026.
