  1. I love that we are all finally agreeing on something. Starting the season off right. Some positivity!
  2. If you have a solid backend, which we do, and if you just so happen to have a solid DL, which we do, you can afford to have decent guys at other positions. I say keep him. We need OL.
  3. My opinion and 2 cents here. It’s year 2 for the staff. Sam Darnold might as well have been less than a rookie when we got him because he had Adam Gase, who in my opinion can’t teach anyone anything about football. We all want to win, but do people honestly expect to go super deep with the second youngest team in the nfl and a new system/quarterback? There is no oline, no quarterback is going to be able to compete at their best running for their life. As much as it’s a “win now” league, this is a patient process. You can’t burn the building down because they’ve lost 4 games. Most of those games they’ve been competitive in and arguably should have won some, which is a positive thing. Idk if Darnold is the answer but you can’t completely judge him right now based on other factors out of his control. Has he made some bone headed plays? Sure. Is all he knows running for his life and playing scared? Yes. Get him some oline help and then let’s talk.
  4. Yeah, what am I missing? Do people really expect him to play?
  5. This is where I’m at. I don’t feel like they’re going to keep Jackson. I don’t see how they can.
  6. I don’t think Gilmore is putting him out personnel wise, but the 5.8 I think, million we’re paying him and D Jack is gonna want to get paid, rightfully so. I just don’t know if they’re going to spend it. And we don’t know if they’re done making trades for other players, adding to the cap budget. It’s tough.
  7. I don’t see a situation where we can keep him. I haven’t looked up all the money and contracts yet, but bringing in a second year guy in Henderson, with Horn and the money we have to pay Gilmore. Doesn’t look good. Also, I’m loving what Fitterer is doing but the one thing I don’t want to get lost on is not supporting the offense. I know he built the LOB, but I feel like the game has changed. It’s an offensive league now. I’m happy with the moves though, loving the attention to detail he’s bringing!
  8. Here’s what pissed me off. The plays to Shultz. He would let Burns release and turn around in the flat. They ran that play at least 6-8 times. How do we not say “hey, just stick with Shultz. I don’t care if he stops blocking and just stands there.” But that’s a play Dallas has run all season on everybody. That being said, it’s hard to sell out to stop the run with that many weapons at receiver. This is a young team. And they’ll get better. Minnesota and Philly will not be easy. I think those are quality wins if we can get them.
  9. The point is, they need to draft OL with damn near every pick. They have to protect Darnold. They can’t put makeshift guys at LT and expect it to work.
  10. They didn’t poo the bed, they just didn’t adjust well at half time. The cowboys offense is highly powerful. To hold them the way we did in the first half was great. Offense is just not consistent. You have to score points to compete
  11. Hard to say. I think he could be a guy who gets super paid by someone else willing to give him more than we can/should. Would hate to see him go though.
  12. Ain't no few more weeks. He's about to see 3 legit teams. May not have the best defenses in Dallas and Minnesota but Philly has a good D right now and the other 2 teams are high powered offenses. He's gonna have to score points. I believe in our D, but it's going to be hard to stop Dallas and Minnesota.
  13. Thanks dude, it didn’t link for some reason.
  14. Dr. David Chao seems to think rupured achilles. Hasn't been confirmed, but he is "the sports doctor".
  15. I’m not one to look ahead, but you guys know how this goes. We’re going to have to beat the Vikings, Cowboys and Eagles to get any respect.
  16. Fug Joe Person. I don’t care if he wrote the article or not.
  17. I love the fact that the kicker position is such a huge thing. It’s attention to detail. How many teams have gone through 3 kickers in 4 weeks because “it could be better”? I love it.
  18. To be fair, on the double coverage pass to DJ, he threw a dart. Agreed he could’ve thrown to a different receiver but it was actually a nice pass.
  19. That was my bold prediction, running back in the first round. Also, we trade or let a running back go. But I don't see that happening unless we bring someone in first.
