  1. At minimum he should be charged with reckless endangerment.
  2. I assume we did offer Jennings a deal. For a somewhat "in demand" player, a visit doesn't even happen until the basic framework of a deal is in place. The basic numbers of what you're offering are typically ironed out beforehand. It's just a matter of him choosing where he wants to go now.
  3. McCoy is the saltiest player in the NFL. I wouldn't expect this to ever go away. He will take unprompted shots at Chip for the rest of his career. He still takes shots at RBs taken ahead of him in the draft. Like he calls them out by name.
  4. Yes but he is asking for way more than we can pay and he put a stop on negotiations last week for his wedding and I think honeymoon that followed. I would've secured that signing bonus first but that's just me. I think it's a pretty safe bet he goes back to the Rams once he gets back to the negotiating table.
  5. Exactly. Jerry would get destroyed in the media if he drafted DGB after the Hardy fiasco happened last year. There is a 0% chance he lets that happen. That decision is above Gettlemans head.
  6. I really don't like Montgomery as a WR but in the 6th or 7th? Why the hell not.
  7. This is what I believe and hope for. It would great if he went in the top 25.
  8. I love Agholor and wouldn't be mad if we picked him in the 1st. My ideal scenario has him falling to in the 2nd, but realistically I think we would have to move up to the middle of the second to get him which I would also be very happy with.
  9. Shaq only ever played one game at safety and only put up above average LB, but below average safety numbers at the combine. He appears to play more athletic than his workout numbers suggest but I really don't get the Shaq love as a safety. To me, he's an undersized 4-3 WLB who shouldn't go in the 1st.
  10. I don't feel like there is a LB worth the pick there so I'd be opposed for that reason
  11. The three cone drill is one of the most important drills for a WR and almost all positions. It is the test that best quantifies short area quickness and change of direction. In everything except 9 and deep post routes, it is the drill that best translates to how open a WR is going to get.
  12. Because we really do need a deep threat that isn't an aging Ted Ginn and the 40 time despite its limitations really is the best measure of how good a WR will be as a deep threat. I'm not saying draft a guy on 40 time alone but for us it really does need to be a consideration moreso than it should normally.
  13. It better. Otherwise Jerry is going to be really mad when he has to write a $15M check to the NFLPA.
  14. Kipper just put Perriman at 9th on his big board. I'll just say I disagree. Strongly.
  15. He's never played a full year and gets thrown off routes easily
  16. If Cooper is there in the mid teens then I'd absolutely try and trade up to get him by offering our 1st and 2nd. He's the second best player in the draft so I'd be all over that. The problem is that every team from the 11th pick through the 16th pick all have a fairly large need at WR so they would likely be asking for more than fair value to give up their pick and the chance to draft Cooper. I wouldn't give up more and than a 1st and a 2nd so in that case I probably let it go. If he gets to 17 or 18 then you can probably make a fair deal with SD or KC, but even those teams have some need at WR. It's a long way for him to fall with a lot of teams that really need a WR. It's hard to see him dropping too far once he gets out of the top 10, but I'd be trying to get him if he did.
  17. Kiper actually had Perriman going top 20 even before the combine. He's been on that train for a while. To answer your question, there is zero chance Cooper is available at 25. There is a small possibility that he does drop into the mid teens, but we would have to trade up to get him at that point and it would take our 1st and 2nd.
  18. I agree that's where he should go, but in all likelihood the media guys saying he could go 1st are probably getting that info from teams. They say they do extensive scouting themselves but any player moving as much as he has this late in the process is a result of inside info from teams now that they've had the opportunity to watch all the tape. So I really believe he is going top half of the 2nd.
  19. Duke's durability really concerns me. I've had enough with RB's who can't stay on the field and it always seems like Duke has something going on.
  20. That would be fantastic and he's a guy I wanted there before the draft process started. I'd be absolutely floored if he was there now. Id probably take him in the second but there will probably be someone there I like a little more. He's not even in the conversation in the 1st for me and I'm really surprised to hear the momentum for him there.
  21. There's always this in regards to Dorsett. Our staff puts more of an emphasis on WR blocking than most I think. Sam Monson @PFF_Sam ยท 4h4 hours ago Phillip Dorsett might be the worst blocker I've ever seen. Whiffs on most of them, even when he makes contact he's run through/bounced
  22. For me, he's a 3rd rounder that might not be there for our 2nd round pick. I'd love to have the guy but not where I think he will be drafted.
  23. I'm high on David Johnson from Northern Iowa in the 3rd or 4th. I'd be ok with Gurley in the 1st but I wouldn't be thrilled about it. If we could trade down to the bottom of the 1st or top of the 2nd and still get him then I'd feel much better about it.
  24. Was Philly not talked up pretty good by Ron last training camp?
  25. $9-10M? Haha WTF Crabtree? He would have been lucky to get $6M. What a dumbass
