56 whiffed his block for Teddy. Pretty bad. I believe that's Trusnik

Cam is such an unique talent at such an important position. No.
-
I think people are way overhyping Byrd. He is fast. Has he really proven anything else? He might be good, but people just see that 40 and assume he is everything we ever needed.

agreed. Ginn is faster and had some real chemistry with cam. Boykin did very well the season before last with Rogers. Philly is solid, but I'm not sure what he offers over these two.

He won an online vote. It's not a business move, and he was crowned by majority vote.... He also had one of the best rookie seasons as a receiver in a long ass time.
-
Supposedly, he isn't willing to play special teams, and has been rated like ass in coverage and against the run. Bump this guy.

Like someone else said, what's the point of signing all these high character vets if with no one to mentor?
I guess that entire point is debatable. From my point of view, you want people with a willingness to improve themselves. If this guy is one of those guys, then of course, let's go after him. It just seems as though this guy has displayed a pattern of troublesome behavior. Why introduce that to the environment of the team? If our guys sign off on him, let's rock and roll.
I concede you have a valid point. Just two different views.

I think locker room culture is important... Despite some of you all hating that mentality.... Players of high integrity are a good thing to have. O'Brien, one of the best coach pickups as of late, doesn't want him in his locker room. That should tell you something.

His name being mentioned within 20 sentences of a murder, probably means he isn't even on our radar now.
This is just being fracking dumb. I'm serious. Shut the hell up. Just because we got rid of Hardy for multiple instances of domestic abuse, does not mean we penalize victims of circumstance on our scouting radar. Jesus Christ.

I still think Trai Turner is our best chance at signing him. And that J.R. is our biggest roadblock and will ultimately cost us Collins.
I would like to think JR doesn't allow innocent victims to now become people we can't field. That's slander and bullshit.

Bruh do you even watch football, he is probably one of the more athletic OT in this year's draft always reaching 2nd level.
Bruh, do you even read? Like the other guy said, I was talking about Williams.
-
Well they are thinking of grooming Williams into a left tackle. We can have both.
I was under the impression they were just giving him looks at LT.... Not so much grooming him to be a LT. I don't think that will happen. He doesn't quite have the attributes of a LT. Gotta be able to stop the Leo coming at you, and I don't think he has the quickness. That's the largest knock on him.
-
Panthers did not have a 1st round grade on Collins.
Where did you get this from?
-
Ginn?
Presly got moves too. So many have already forgot about him. He's a legit shot at this roster, cause he fits a need and really no one else can do what he does.. unless bryd has some smitty in him.
I actually went to App State while Presley was playing there. Started at QB, moved to CB.... He is a true athlete. He was a really fluid player... But him as a WR, is very new to him. If he can refine his skills, thats great.... But he has played 3 different positions now, over the course of just a few years. He was benched as QB his senior year, and then put at corner just because he was one of our best athletes.
With that said, it's going to be hard for him to make this roster after bringing in all these receivers, many of whom have more experience than him. Does he even have good hands? I have no idea.
Edit: And he ran a 4.64... You can argue he plays a little bit faster, and is more agile than quick.... But his measurables, 5'10" and a 4.64 with limited receiver experience... Does not bode well. He was coming out of college as a CB... Again, he just keeps getting moved around. To put him out there instead of Ginn, Brown, Hill, Boykin, hell even this South Carolina track star...... He is going to have to really have an impressive camp.

We are so deep at this position, and already have multiple people that can return kicks, and Ginn and Hill are probably better deep threats. This guy's shot is small to make the roster. Slow down the hype train.
-
Well.... He isn't wrong.
-
I just think Dorsett is another prospect hyped by his 40. Maybe I'm wrong. I do think Devin smith is the better WR.
Either way I believe Dorsett could be drafted in the second round, maybe fall to the 3rd.
I think Devin smith is way overhyped. Dorsett over smith any day.

The desperation for a 31 year old receiver is pretty hilarious. Not saying anything about his talent, but this is hardly make or break.

Cooper - Top 10
White - Top 10
Parker - Mid-first
Strong - Late first/Early second
Agholor - Late first/Early second
Perriman - Late first/Early second
Smith - Mid-second
DGB - Mid-second
Dorsett - Late second
Coates - Third
Funchess - Third
Hardy - Third
i like it, but I think dorsett will be coming off much earlier. I think DGB drops
-
I like him a lot, I just don't think he will be there in the second. If one of the OT's are there in the first, you have to go with that.

Yea, he wants to run in the red zone because it is pre-season. Everyone just piles on. It's just a giant circle jerk. So many soon to be professional OC's on this message board.....
