  1. Not a good performance tonight, without a proper number 10, this team really struggles to generate chances. Charlotte FC falls to New York Red Bulls 3-1
  2. Jozwiak looking much better. I’d like to see: Walkes for Makoun, Lindsey for Afful, Franco for Alcivar, and Vargas for Shinyashiki.
  3. Camera angle is giving me a headache.. anywho, choppy bit of play to end the first half, still 1-1. Couple of notes: - If Walkes can play LCB then I’d insert him in for Makoun. Makoun has been terrible and is constantly getting beat. - Jones might have to come in for Bronico or maybe Franco comes in for Bronico and Alcivar moves back to CDM. Bronico is on a yellow and you can’t risk him picking up a second one. - Jozwiak has been invisible, it’s time for Vargas to come on.
  4. Charlotte FC concedes in the first two minutes and then responds with a goal of their own. Shinyashiki to Rios 1-1 in the 10th minute.
  5. Showtime, Charlotte FC takes the field against New York Red Bulls in the round of 16 of the U.S. Open Cup at some dumpy park in Jersey.
  6. The Crown are going for the win it appears. Starting XI (subs in parentheses) GK - Kahlina (Marks) LB - Mora LCB - Makoun RCB - Corujo (Walkes) RB - Afful (Lindsey) CDM - Bronico (Jones) LM - Bender RM - Alcivar (Franco) LW - Jozwiak (Vargas) ST - Rios RW - Shinyashiki (Gaines)
  7. Very true, they wanted to send him back but Jarvis made it impossible.
  8. Probably and unpopular opinion, but we should have signed Kane.
  9. You’re guess is good as mine, he definitely seemed to be on a short leash.
  10. I’d imagine he is but if for some reason he isn’t, I don’t know if you can trot Raanta out there again.
  11. We aren’t where we are without Jarvis… Necas has been that bad. Just imagine not having Jarvis and the sizable hole that we’d have in our lineup. I hope someone does something stupid like offer sheeting him. We should have traded him for Chychrun when we had the chance.
  12. I mean the kid did beat New York to clinch the division on the road so I’d give him a go.
  13. He definitely saves the first one and fourth one, second one was a tip so it’s a good goal, and I can’t remember the third goal.
  14. Unfortunately, Shesterkin probably saves two or three of the goals that Raanta has allowed.
  15. No matter what, we need to see one go in tonight just for morale… can’t go six periods in New York with only scoring one goal.
  16. On a positive note, we could lose every away game 10-0 and as long as we hold serve at home we’ll be in the SCF’s.
  17. Enough talk from these guys… that’s 0-5 on the road… eventually stop talking about coming out better and just fugging do it. See you guys Thursday.
  18. I’ve seen this story before, the ending is usually a shutout. Maybe I’m bad luck. Gonna step out for something to eat and see if that does the trick.
  19. I know Rod is in love with the Nino - Staal - Fast line but enough… it’s a useless line when you can’t dictate matchups. Nino - Aho - Turbo Svech - Trocheck- Jarvis KK - Domi - Necas Lorentz - Staal - Fast
  20. If we change the lines again we are changing them back to what previously wasn’t working.
  21. Post the follow through and the angle that shows elbow to head. I mean hell, I can give you 1000 examples of why a players vulnerability doesn’t matter… Foegele on Oshie, Landeskog on Dach, etc. it’s not a good hit.
  22. Probably, but not sure what else you can do to get the team going.
  23. Please stay off the road… if you can’t see both skates off the ice then you don’t need to be operating machinery. As I said before, there’s not a second rule book for vulnerable situations. Keep trying.
  24. We aren’t coming back with Raanta in net, put Kochetkov in and try to jumpstart the team.
