Not sure this will ever blow over. And right now, we don't do our jobs, we just make sure the old people are OK and get food and supplies.

Found out today that we get $1.50 an hour more starting next week. Hazard pay.

They did this where I work, but not full nazi. They can walk around outside, supposed to practice social distancing (they don't), and they have exercise and games on the in-house tv station. That might change Monday.

The insurance the company had was complete crap, so I opted out last year. Copays and minimums were horrible.

Just did some reading. Apparently, with the stimulus package, I could make $300 more a week if I got laid off. Gonna push the limits at work tomorrow.

If I understand it correctly, the gov't would loan businesses money to keep employs on for 10 weeks, and then convert the loan into a grant. Why lay anybody off?

Cases aren't skyrocketing, they were already here. Just like Italy's death toll doubling daily, people aren't dying exponentially, they were just finding the bodies.

I do maintenance at a retirement home. Before I do a work order, I call the resident and explain that I'm coming over, I'm going to knock and come in and announce myself, and fix the problem. For both of our protection, they have to stay 10 feet away. Apparently, that translates to "Be standing by the door when I get there".

Then they go to jail and become quarantined anyway.

Do you own a tv? Half the infected people in NY are 19-49. It's the stupid people that spread the virus.

I'm trying to organize a "Walking Dead" type box for the community- take what you need, leave what you don't. I have canned goods, bread, TP, clorox wipes. Just worried somebody will just take the box and leave.

We hose everything down with Lysol at work.

Remember, we are 13 days behind Italy. And not doing much to slow anything down.

I didn't say it would get cured, I said sorted out. Stupid people are still out there doing whatever they want.

If they told everybody to stay home for a week, a lot of this could get sorted out. I stop at the grocery store on my way to work if I need anything, just to avoid people. Of course, my wife had 2 drs appts today.

They just said on the news that taking medicine designed to cure Ebola and another medicine (they didn't say what) knocked the symptons out in 24 hours. If true, at least people wouldn't die.

Gee, I don't remember any of this a Christmas. Perhaps you are mistaken.

Don't worry about the lack of food, now that restaurants are shut down, tons of food will now be available

Let me reiterate- Italy acknowledged those deaths were due to COVID19, those people didn't all die today. Just like here, there are dead people that haven't been linked to the virus yet. Yet.

They had almost 500 deaths today.

Florida needs to be eliminated for allowing this stupidity. The government should cut them off for not shutting it down sooner.
