  1. There's this from a guy who seems to be associated with Roaring Riot... Don't know if these are all official (I've seen tweets from Hurst and Williams confirming their numbers) but from what I've seen, all of these are currently available.
  2. The roster page is a little slow to update sometimes. Honestly the site in general can be.
  3. You're really trying to live up to the Boogeyman name, aren't you?
  4. As I recall, the only experience Dorsey had prior to becoming Newton's quarterback coach was working as one of our scouts. Would he have been as good as he is now if he'd been allowed to really coach? Don't know, but I do know Rivera overall just wasn't good for Newton. To be honest, at this point I think Dorsey's a little overrated as a head coaching prospect, partially because he's using Allen in much the same way Rivera used Newton. It won't surprise me if that ends up shortening his career.
  5. Word was the asking price for #3 wasn't significantly different than the asking price for #1. Given that, why settle for #3?
  6. Actually I'm more ignoring the pro days. The game tape is far more informative, and the game tape favors Stroud or Young. I prefer Stroud, but I could live with Young.
  7. Word back then was Rivera and Hurney didn't want any "hard coaching" on Newton. They were afraid of hurting his feelings. Dorsey basically wound up being a "buddy", and there were a load of indications that Newton didn't really respect him or see him as a valid coach. Buffalo actually let him coach however he felt he needed to.
  8. Hue Jackson never gave a sh-t in Cleveland either. Dallas and Oakland have long running reputations for getting "bad guys".
  9. Falling in love with physical tools rather than pro-level quarterbacking skills is how you end up with a Trey Lance.
  10. Pretty much. Instead of trying to teach him to play in a pro-style system, t hey built a college style offense around him. It's possible the idea was to slowly transition him into a more traditional offense, but they just decided what they had was good enough and stuck with it. Turner showed them that they could have worked with him on that, although maybe it would have meant him starting a little later instead of day one. That's a trade off I'd take for a longer, more successful career.
  11. What you'll hear from analysts (and it's generally true) is that when you have someone like Newton or Jackson, you basically have to build the offense around their skill set. That's what the Panthers did early on. Norv Turner switched it up and had him running a Coryell type offense, and it worked. But he was already well into his career by the time that change was made. I'll always wonder what could have been if someone like Turner had been around early on. You'd likely have to do that with Richardson as well if you wanted him to start this early. More likely you're taking a couple of years to try and coach him up, so you don't get any immediate returns. Stroud or Young you could much more easily slide into a WCO or E-P type system because they've already got the skills needed.
  12. Now being reported that he wants to play for the Patriots. That drew this response...
  13. Technically the thread title doesn't say which team he'll be playing for
  14. Which there is chatter about them doing...
  15. I don't think anyone questions that he's going to be good. What they're all worried about is whether he can stay healthy.
  16. You never take the guy who needs to be taught quarterbacking skills over the guy that already has them. I don't care how big, strong or fast he is.
  17. I'd say there's a reason for that (and not just the injury) There might not be enough info to call him a bust yet but things don't seem to be trending in the right direction.
