  1. I mean, I think any competent HC candidate should already have a list of guys they know or guys they want. Remember 100% of the football knowledge is with the new HC's. Tepper and Fitt's actual football knowledge is next to nothing. I am not familiar with any HC hiring process being run in that manner. I don't think that is going to work very well at all. It could be a good landing spot for a coach if we have a clear plan at how to improve at QB. I think the biggest question is whether we are going to be able to attract a candidate because of Tepper and the QB situation. If we end up being spurned by most candidates, I think the problem is obvious and just simply not something that is able to be fixed. If we are able to get a good candidate hired, we can go about the business of figuring out the QB situation(among other offseason issues). It's extremely difficult to make any future personnel plans with no coaching staff.
  2. TBH, I think the tell is that they might be keeping Wilks. There is absolutely no logic or reasoning behind interviewing a DC candidate without the head coach being involved. I couldn't think of a bigger red flag as a prospective HC candidate than the idea of a DC being forced on me.
  3. We are so focused on the coaching search that we have already been interviewing defensive coordinators without a head coach in place!
  4. Lance also looked better through the equivalent amount of games played than Fields did. Now Fields appears to actually be a dude. I am all for trading for Lance for a 2nd or lower draft pick. It's likely a far better option than we could draft with those picks. However, we would still need a GOOD veteran(as in not Sam Darnold). Lance may not be 100% ready for prime time and he also can't stay healthy. Corral well.....I mean...only the most "special" of our posters believes in that fantasy.
  5. I think they seem to be more and more committed to Purdy. Time will tell if this is Nick Foles 2.0.
  6. Well, that is a future problem now. Frankly, with the money that they paid him, they shouldn't have an issue counting another top shelf QB that is a prospective free agent.
  7. Brady seems destined to be bad at it. He is probably going to be pretty wooden and lacking in charisma.
  8. I would think the Eagles have to be pretty prohibitive favorites in that game, TBH.
  9. It is their best chance to cut him and run, though. If another QB option presents itself, get rid of him. Or somehow convince him to restructure to a much more cut friendly deal.
  10. He was a designed speed bump, technically.
  11. I think the choice was clear in hindsight.
  12. They can and should cut him after 2023.
  13. I am glad the dude made that. His career probably would have been over had he missed.
  14. Those fans have been high on copium for 30 years.
  15. No, I get that you are having a nonsensical hissy fit. I mean, we all get this. I think that is why you are getting the reaction that you are from basically everyone.
  16. Probably the best pass rusher in the NFL in the next season or two.
  17. Eh. If they do win we do get better picks. It's not all bad if they win. Plus they'll probably get smoked by Philly....
  18. You know, even Jameis Winston counteracts all his boneheaded INT's with crazy Favre-esque big plays. Dak....well......
  19. Lol. I am not wishing the kid ill but the Brady comparisons are so lightspeed stupid. It's another ESPN jerk off fest.
  20. So you want them to do something they aren't good at over and over? I know you are a Panthers fan but we don't have to be like the team we root for, you know?
  21. Damn. You know the Dallas fans had to be looking at Gould in envy.
  22. I am not seeing it. That Bengals held them to 63 yards on 19 carries. That defense was playing exceptional.
