    He already said last season he would come in as a backup but IIRC he wanted to be on a contending team. It makes sense. What reason does he have to come back other than chase a ring?

    If that was the case, he could certainly have taken veteran minimum deals in the NFL prior to now. The odds of this being a legit story are pretty minimal.

    Cam doesn't need the money so there is literally zero reason for Cam to play anywhere other than the NFL.

    The team hasn't quit the whole time in this series(they did against the NYI in the loss there). But out working the opponent hasn't helped so far. I think the biggest thing we need is just some better puck luck. I really believe that.

    They can be beat but once you get one of those elite tier guys on a heater(like Bob is) it's almost impossible. It may not last forever but it doesn't have to last that long in the playoffs. You only need a few wins. We just happened to get Bobrovsky in stone wall mode. It sucks but it is what it is.

    I wanted to avoid goalies that had or were playing elite. Bobrovsky, Oettinger and Shitsterkin were the ones that concerned me. I had zero fear of Boston's goalies. I knew that was BS.

    TBH, we could have probably had a 6 on 1 PP and still couldn't have gotten one past him. This poo is just ridiculous

    I hated the one goal Freddie let in Game 1. But, he isn't the reason we lost the game. The margin for error just gets smaller and smaller the deeper in the playoffs you go.

    Yep. I can't muster up the heart to hate Florida just because it's a franchise that has never won a Cup. Hell this will only be their second conference championship all time. I don't really care about Dallas or Vegas. IDC who wins once we are out. Glad it isn't fuging Boston, NYR/NYI, Tampa, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, etc. fug the rest. IDC. See ya'll MFers in 2023-2024.

    Here is another sickening thing, if we had won both of those OT games in Raleigh, Freddie Anderson is the story of the playoffs and not Bobrovsky.

    Yeah, fuging hell of a time to have it. But, he had been a elite goalie in the regular season more than once. It just seems like we always run into this kind of poo.

    I mean the MFer hasn't allowed more than 2 goals in a game since the Boston series. He's been the best goalie in the playoffs.

    I mean I really don't have any answers for this. It's not worth blaming anyone on our team, IMO. We are playing well enough to win and have the whole series. We just are hitting this fuging stone wall.
