  1. Perhaps, but you still can't discount what Beane has done. I'm sure Allen had a voice as well re: McDermott.
  2. Beane turned around a franchise that was a perennial loser and in his 9 years running the show he's made the playoffs 8 times. He's been one of the most successful GMs during his tenure and folks here throwing shade at him makes zero sense. If Morgan can follow these footsteps, he will be a god in Carolina.
  3. Unless you have a hall of fame QB, I think defenses win champtionships and I'd follow the Seattle model. Even the best QBs can't win without a good team and our defense is a couple players away from being elite and what I'd focus on if I'm Dan Morgan.
  4. Robinson needs to stay. Tremble is the only reliable TE on the roster that I'd trust in a big moment. He isn't great, but he's fairly reliable and I don't see him going anywhere unless they make a play for a big splash TE in free agency or draft one early. Sanders has all the potential, but can't stay healthy and isn't the best blocker.
  5. I'm sure he regrets leaving Carolina becuse he was non-existent after he left and he was a key part of Carolina's offense. Great guy and I wish him the best.
  6. This is a rare situation where the fans are probably more objective than the front office because Evero should be gone and Canales should give up play calling. Neither of these things will happen because Morgan and Tepper don't want to impact any momentum now that this team is finally somewhat relevant and competing.
  7. When Tepper bought the Panthers we all expected his wealth to be an advanatage because he could basically buy any coach or GM. As we all know, it hasn't gone this way and if Tepper was smart, he'd give Harbaugh or Tomlin whatever they want to come here because these types of coaches would instantly change the culture.
  8. It will be huge if Hunt is close to 100% and can suit up this weekend.
  9. Morgan and Tillis have the Panthers trending in the right direction and it is nice to have hope. I'm still not sold on Canales and definitely not on Tepper.
  10. 10.5 dog at home is disrespectful and especially after the Panthers have already beaten them once.
  11. They need to use him more like Deebo Samuel. XL can’t thrive in a traditional role and we’ve all seen this he needs to be more of a gadget guy.
  12. Horn plays aggressively and it leads to game defining moments that propel the panthers to victories and also losses. I’ll take Horn but I’d like to see more game and situational awareness.
  13. Sadly, this is my prediction as well. Whatever is the most painful option for fans is what seems to happen with this team.
  14. It is stupid logic. If anything, having a midget QB would be an advantage for a QB sneak because everyone claims he can't see over the line so he'd be a ninja behind the line because no one can see him.
  15. It is a dumb answer. You don't have to be Cam Newton to run a QB sneak and most QBs are looking for a gap. Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, and Kyler Murray are smaller QBs and they have zero issues running a QB sneak.
  16. It has to be a sickness to watch and pull for this team. 11 penalties for 103 yards in a must win game is pathetic. Tom Brady would have a tough time winning with this headwind.
  17. You can't lose your way into the playoffs and if you expect this team to sweep the Bucs, you are going to be disappointed.
  18. It is tough to beat any NFL team twice in a year. The Panthers are more talented than the Saints and now have tape on their rookie QB. They have to win this game and it will speak volumes if they don't with the implications.
  19. Last year after the bye week, the Panthers almost beat the Chiefs and looked excellent. Not much history, but all we have with Canales young tenure.
  20. Rookies often come out hot and then they struggle once more tape is out on them. Let's see what this kids does the rest of the year and next year. I'm no NFL scout, but he does seem to be calm and in control of the offense which is a big deal for a rookie.
  21. I understand that the Panthers likely want to be very conservative with his recovery, but it is concerning that Brooks isn't doing full speed cuts after a year. There is no rhyme or reason why some players get hurt all the time while others don't. Also, some guys come back from injury with zero side effects and others are never the same. I'm pulling for him, but this doesn't seem like a Thomas Davis kind of ending.
  22. If Evero isn't in Carolina next year, this tells me that Tepper is still micro managing everyone because he's not getting a head coaching job and it would be silly to leave for another d coordinator job after a good year. Plus, I suspect Canales and Morgan and easy to work for.
  23. Rico is going to go to the highest bidder and it won't be Carolina. He's been brillant, but now that the season is taking its toll on him, he isn't looking so brillant. Fresh legs is everything and Chuba was the better back last weekend.
  24. He excels with scripted plays and why the first drive often leads to a score and teams practice the 2 minute offense all the time.
  25. Horn and Brown are having All Pro years and this has been the difference for sure. Plus, this team has young talent versus last year they were basically pulling people off the streets to play on defense.
