i felt my articles have become overly formulaic, so i decided to switch it up this week (and you can't turn on creativity like a faucet, so when it comes you gotta channel that poo. i spent about 30 hours on the cubist piece alone)

besides, everything i was going to say about schemes was broken down beautifully here already, so it would've been redundant.

That's fine but if we lose....it's your fault ;)

  2. Holy poo I just remote desk topped into a clients computer and their background was of Admiral Ackbar. Then I come in here to check this board and the first thread I see is Its A Trap.

Good thing I don't believe in signs. :)

  3. So I fell at work today because I'm a super clutz. I think I tore something or broke my foot. It is huge, throbbing and I can't walk. The first thought I had after my fall was "I better be able to fuging work out tonight. "

Now I'm not sure I'll be working out for a while :(

  4. Can anyone recommend some workouts that target the core besides crunches and poo? On ab days, I find my self doing a lot of laying around which I feel like lowers my heart rate and kills the momentum I have going. I want to add more workouts such as different weight lifting excersises that target the abs so I'm not laying around doing the same crunch excersise.

Also, would it be better for me to keep focus more on cardio than ab routines until I get rid of my belly fat? I feel like I can work my abs all I want, but until I can get rid of my excess belly fat, I wont see any results. Should I up my cardio and wait until I have a flat stomach before really focusing on ab excersises?

Do lots of cardio to get rid of the fat. You can work your abs doing cardio too with moves like high knees, high knees with a twist, power jumps, plank in and outs, switch kicks, low and high plank knee to elbow at a fast pace, those are a few examples.

edit: Oh and my favorite 8 push ups followed by running in plank repeated.

  5. Did the first work out last night and really liked it. I was thinking I might not have use of my arms today but so far so good. I'm really looking forward to the leg work outs.

They double up on Chest and Tris or Back and Bis each week, I think I'm going to deviate from the schedule and turn that into an Insanity cardio work out for me.

  6. I went through the whole program a few months back.  It's effective at building muscle.  But that's because the nutrition plan is insane.  You'll be eating a lot.  And unless you pay very close attention to every small detail, odds are you will gain body fat.  But it's great if you want to be strong.  Good luck.

Eating plan is always the hardest part for me. Did you do the shakeology or make your own shakes?

  7. maddest i have ever been at any single moment during a panthers game. even madder than nakamura's cover zero against roddy white in 2012. i should have died of a brain aneurysm that night.

This would make a good thread. Maybe there has already been one about the maddest you've ever been as a Panther fan.

  8. i was gonna play that joke too but i double checked, the bible says you can get divorced and remarry as long as there was sexual infidelity, and the woman cheated on RW, so he's in the clear
"I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

...i did wanna make that joke though

    Nah he's still sinning.

Mark 10:11 He answered, "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her.

1 Corinthians 7:10-11 To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife.

  9. House remodeling projects are mostly over. So I'm back into the groove. Decided to add pull ups back into my routine. Apparently I care more about being stronger than the fact that my back is going to look all muscly and gross.

  10. How long is this program? 30 minutes a day for 30 days?

I have about a month to go in my current training block, and looking to switch it up and get back into cardio for a short period afterwards. Would Max30 fit the bill?

It's 60 days and incredibly tough cardio. Tougher than the original Insanity.
