I have Fields and Lance with virtually the same grade, I would be happy with either.

Love Davis Mills, lots of ability there.

His pocket awareness has made me cringe at times, other times he shows great ability to sense and escape. His decision making needs work, as do most of the QB prospects in the draft. Both of which are very obviously fixable, and he showed growth in both areas meaning they are improving. He isn't oblivious a ton, but he has moments where these things escape him.

I wouldn't see Mond as a 1st round pick anyway. You take him in the 2nd and hope he absorbs the coaching he receives. He definitely has starting potential.
-
He definitely has some decision making issues, hence why you would not just throw him out as a starter day one. However, his quick flick release, strong arm, athleticism, growth, and playmaking ability puts him in the conversation to be a starter after you start ironing out the kinks in his game. He has a high ceiling, and there aren't things you can't teach him. Granted, his pocket awareness makes me cringe at times, just getting laid out in the NFL would be a serious problem, and as you stated his decision making needs work.

I just did in my draft general thread. I would take Justin Fields.
-
I would be shocked if someone doesn't trade to 3 for a QB.

Everything is kind of messed up right now with the Watson thing, so I say this with not as much confidence as I probably would otherwise, but I don't really see much of a scenario where we don't come out of this draft with a QB. If somehow we whiff, I think Tepper would be extremely upset, but we would likely take the best tackle available or Kyle Pitts. I like AVT more as a guard, but think he will be fine at either position.

I think teams (rightly so) have become much more reliant on game tape and consistency of the prospect. There will likely be cases of guys going ahead of other guys that no one sees coming if only because that player opted out and this player has tape from 2020 that I can look at and say for sure what I am getting with them. Showing growth and consistency is an underrated part of a prospect. If you give me one year of so-so production, and then opt out, are your measurables really going to put you ahead of a guy who has a little less of the measurables but produced and grew at a high level? Probably not. As far as contracting COVID there is so many unknowns to that, but these kids are healthy and young, I don't believe that is something that is factored in at all.

I kind of don't, but if you are the Panthers you have to work on the idea that they do want a QB.

I'm excited to get flamed when I release my most recent QB rankings lol
-
Derek Anderson/Nick Foles would be the right comparison yep.
-
If we draft Mac Jones in the first round I am getting hammered immediately after. Yikes.
-
Idk about that one. Trask likely goes in the 2nd. There is a lot to work with.
-
You have to move up to three, no question about it, you must get ahead of Atlanta. Which also means you will likely have to outbid Atlanta for the #3 spot.
-
Love it
-
Honk honk. Go to the tinderbox pls.
-
Absolutely the dumbest conclusion to come to at this point.
-
No idea. Friend said Watson situation is "nuclear at the moment". Team will likely move forward in the draft.
-
He will look pretty great in Carolina blue I'm sure.
-
We can close this thread. The ship has sailed.
-
I guess his "game" wasn't good enough.
