All year everyone pretty much knew Amari Cooper was going to be the first receiver picked in the draft. Yet after Kevin White's combine workout, many now believe he will be the first wideout taken, perhaps by the Raiders. This morning I heard Kiper on Sportscenter talking about the possibility of the Rams taking Perriman with the 10th pick.
Now my personal opinion is Cooper will still be the first receiver taken. I don't care about White's workout. The Raiders would be absolutely fools to pass up Amari Cooper just because a guy was a little bigger and a little faster. Yet like I said, now Perriman is being hyped up because he's "a little bigger and a little faster" (At least in terms of workouts) Well, DeVante Parker is "a little bigger" and about as fast. It's also possible for a team to fall in love with Dorial Green-Beckham. He's definitely bigger and the only questions around him are off the field. If it weren't for that, he most likely would have been the first receiver off the board.
What I'm trying to say is, if Kevin White and Breshad Perriman are taking in the top 10, and Copper falls, what are the chances he will still be on the board when we pick when guys like Parker and Beckham are still floating around in the teens?

I've been one of Hardy's biggest supporters for the past 9 months, at least in terms of keeping him. But there was a big development that happened quietly last month that basically nobody paid attention to: turns out the DA's office had in its possession pictures of bruises and welts all over Nicole Holder's body from head to toe. Face, arms, legs, torso, back, feet......Hardy clearly did it. If he thought she faked it, he would have fought tooth and nail and would have never paid her off.
Now that you can (I believe) definitively say Hardy did beat her, it becomes a matter of giving someone a second chance. However, since Hardy is maintaining his innocence, he'll never be apologizing and admitting what he did. So I think I'm going to begrudgingly agree with Richardson's decision to let him go.
As for Cam or Luke getting the same treatment, Hardy was basically on their same level in terms of playmaking ability. And I think if someone accused those two of beating them and they had pictures of their injuries all over their body to prove it, I think they would have gotten the same treatment from Richardson, I really do.
Thanks for that info.
changed my opinion slightly

So if Luke or Cam are accused of assault and settle out of court, we are OK cutting them?

Why didn't he do the "right thing" when Steve Smith 89 was cracking team mates skulls?

Just a reminder that a lot of Hurney's mistakes weren't Hurney's.
Public Perception is very important, maybe the most important thing. After making $$$ that is.

Sounds like he's a pure press man CB.
Wouldn't be shocked to see an open competition at CB.
Norman, Bene, Ball fighting it out.

He's an 8 yr guy.
Had some good seasons with the Jags and Cowboys.
Could be a diamond in the rough.

At 25 this could be a steal.
Similar to Star a couple years ago.

TD has been as good or better AND kept his nose Clean.I knew that was going to be the first thing said. Thomas Davis is not a better football player than Thomas Davis. Greg Hardy was all pro good 2 years ago.

2nd best player on our D just walked out the door for free. Thank you for being entertaining and more importantly a special talent.

Seattle benefits from several really good deals. High on that list is RW3's contract.

If we tag Cam its gonna be 20 mill, I can just imagine the outrage already.
Why have outrage?
He would be getting paid.

He isn't signing because it isn't in his best financial interest to sign.
regardless he is a Panther for the next 3 season, if the Panthers want him to be.

Everything Getts said is true.

In the vicinity of 2.5 mil per year, with 4-6 mil guaranteed on a 4 year contract. This person may not necessarily be a WR2, but with upside. We can then draft someone to definitely fill our WR2 role, or at least compete for it while they develop, then likely have to pay them bigger bucks in three to four years if everything works out.
If FA ends and nothing has changed, no options aquired. Then, THEN people can bitch.
Right now half the board looks like fuging pussies.
