  1. Naw not even close Bingo this isn’t hype this is reality. This isn’t singing his praises it’s acknowledgment he is what we heard he was. All we’ve been hearing about are things his teammates and coaches are experiencing first hand there’s no extra hype being doled out. Rookies don’t usually ever run protection meetings there first week of training camp, rookies don’t usually take in and understand the playbook over the summer before camp. He’s just different he’s that computer that Steve spoke about after watching his individual workout there’s a reason he had the highest cognitive test score by far he understands football at a higher level then we are use to and his praises are a direct reflection of that knowledge.
  2. That was my main thought they could have had this agreement in place for two weeks at 34 he doesn’t need training camp just a couple weeks to ramp up his conditioning. This will give him about 4 weeks of practicing to get ready makes very good sense for both parties involved. He definitely doesn’t need that Spartanburg heat to prepare for the season just a couple weeks with the playbook and he should be good to go.
  3. That goes for every athlete in all sports it’s really not even a conversation if Mahomes isn’t healthy he can’t do special Mahomes like things. Give me a little more thought next time my friend lol. It’s not like either of those two Chinn/Luvu are injury prone players so I don’t know why you would say that.
  4. That right there has some serious potential to do damage they both make plays at and around the line of scrimmage. Now Everjo has multiple pieces I can't wait to see how he utilizes them. He really might be one and done, as Scott said awhile back prepare to find a new DC after this season because he's going to be a head coach next year.
  5. I had to add this from a Seattle article earlier in the year comparing who to sign in free agency at OLB…. Houston & Ngakoue Now, let’s take a look at where Justin Houston and Yannick Ngakoue ranked in 2022: Pass Rush: Houston 27th, Ngakoue 128th Run Defense: Houston 63rd, Ngakoue 180th Coverage: Houston 59th, Ngakoue 131st Tackling: Ngakoue 147th, Houston 170th Overall: Houston 30th, Ngakoue 163rd The simple takeaways here are: Both Yannick Ngakoue and Justin Houston struggled with tackling last year. Houston’s numbers in the other 4 categories make him an interesting option, despite his age, should Seattle decide to add another EDGE before (or after) the draft; Ngakoue, not so much. The numbers indicate that swapping Houston for Taylor would be a HUGE improvement.
  6. Not being funny but who doesn’t think we can win now? Our division is very winnable we have the top QB a very good Oline top RB free agent etc. Our defense as we’ve all known has been missing that one piece and we just filled it. This seems more like a proven player to help us win and teach the other players what it takes to preform at a high level. Even if they like them they’re still young and raw, this gives them the necessary time to learn and develop under a player who knows exactly what it takes to be a true impact OLB. We’re no longer ok with having weak spots or saying “It is what it is” when referencing why we’re struggling at a certain area in this case a OLB opposite Burns. This cast of coaches knows what it takes and we continue to see us improve all positions as we’re gearing up to try to win the South. It’s exciting times around here knowing our coaches want to field players who can get it done and not players who are cool or liked by the coaches. I think that’s why we didn’t go with Yannick earlier. Big time upgrade for us especially with our group overall being so young and transitioning he should truly help the DLine guys with what they need to know in a 3-4.
  7. So it begins we get to see our new franchise QB against another teams defense. I’m assuming they’ll play their first team some also being they didn’t play in the HOF game. Rodgers and Co will have to get done meaningful reps before the season starts even though there’s no real game plan it’s going to be good to compete vs another team with elite pieces at multiple key positions.
  8. I’m wondering will the playing time shift towards them later in the season. Because Hurst is a very good blocker and Tremble was drafted because he’s a very good blocker. We’re talking about Thomas but will we see these two get most of the playing time during the season in the two te sets.
  9. Did he I thought he was a good run blocker I’m not 100% sure I thought he did a good job but if you have certain games that he definitely failed miserably let me know so I can base my opinion off of facts.
  10. Man I totally agree wtf does his size have to do with escapability you either have it or you don’t no in between. The size remarks make no sense at all from what I just saw he was moving around like a young Brees just avoiding defenders and keeping his eyes downfield ready to make a play I couldn’t be more impressed with a rookie QB so far.
  11. Are you saying that, that move didn't show very good pocket presence? Just trying to understand what you're saying.
  12. Yea the discipline for certain things seems so unexplainable compared to other offenses. At least his stupidity will cost them in a divisional game early in the season
  13. Arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
  14. I’m willing to bet he’ll be out week 2, he’ll probably get 6 game’s reduced to 4 after an appeal. Or even if it’s 4 game’s reduced to 3 after appeal. I looked at few suspensions from the past Bryant McKinney (Vikings DT) suspended in 08 four games for a brawl outside a nightclub club very similar crime I’d expect a similar punishment.
  15. A veteran QB who has preformed well in previous seasons vs a rookie. A couple really good WRs vs a couple up and coming WRs, a proven top notch defense vs a good but not elite defense. A team learning a new scheme vs a team who has the scheme and fits down from the previous season. At the moment I’d say they’re clear favorites based off all of this information but that’s why the games are played on the field not on a forum. But it’s easy to see why a team with a stout D and strong offense who upgraded the QB position would be favored over all our newness we haven’t shown yet what we can be it’s not physics it’s logic don’t you think?
  16. Very good training camp addition former probowler probably very eager to get his game back on track. Underrated pickup to bolster our LB group even if he only contributes a few games could be a very very good backup. Luvu as a pass rusher excites me he’s got a knack for getting to the qb I’d love to blitz him more. Imagine him getting 10 sacks this season that’s wrecking havoc from an OLB.
  17. His poor performances and this injury might just do it for him. Atleast we’ve got options and a little bit of time to improve that position before the season starts. If our top two are healthy which is a big if, we should be ok though with JR Chinn and the rookie RW or KT playing the third and fourth DB.
  18. Kobe Jones keeps making plays a second year player seemingly practicing with the fire it takes to make it from undrafted to impact player. Cant wait to see how his preseason plays out.
  19. This is insanely impressive for a rookie starting training camp, but I must say we are actually seeing exactly what was said about him during the pre draft process. They said he’s a computer and he’s the best processor we’ve seen in the last decade. He’s extremely accurate and has elite anticipation and play making. We’re actually seeing it first hand. I can’t fu….. wait to scrimmage the Jets such a good measuring stick very early on. Elite QB elite WR elite DB elite DT and more.
  20. They don't want to pay him already you think they want a RB who has a deal already in place. Repeat after me fantasy football ideas are not real NFL moves lol
  21. Yea us being light on picks because of this year's trade is the only reason I'd say no we can't turn into the Rams and not build actively through the draft those top picks become foundational pieces if you draft right. All I can see is the havoc those two could wreck on the NFC he's the type of piece we need to compete with the stronger NFC teams. But yea next year we don't have a first so we can't give up our second.
  22. It was a little awkward but I liked it a lot it shows Bryce may be short but don't play with him. Steve was giving him a little flack for the song being a females song (Kiesha Cole) Bryce was basically like shut it up kill the jokes which shows me he's not a pansy or a marshmallow that you can just give him poo. It's hard to stand up to Steve he's a huge personality and fierce azz competitor so anybody shutting him down in any way shows a very strong mentality it made me look at Bryce as stronger personality than I thought because he seems to carry that quiet shy vibe but this for me debunked that immediately. I may be looking to deep into this but I really liked him shutting down Smitty who was giving him a little sht.
