  1. Seeing a lot of Hollywood Brown on Twitter. Only Fitt would treat a guy who once maxed out at 1008 yards as legit #1 WR
  2. this is the guy who called plays in that Super Bowl. And the entire time Frank was employed in Philly also, Ron had a better win % in Carolina than Frank did in Indy.
  3. Frank didn't see it in Indy. This is all on repeat.
  4. the OC....that we hired from a successful scheme and team. This shouldn't be hard. But Frank made it that way. Robbed him of half the preseason and work coming in. Which again, speaks to Frank being bad in so many ways. This O didn't get the reps it needed coming into the season. His new OC didn't get the work he needed. We just have Frank doing Frank things Fitt doing Fitt things and Dave doing Dave things and it is going predictably.
  5. Carolina already has sucker written on their forehead. Really don’t know what to even think about the horrific deals Tepper/Fitt are kicking around. Board is thinking DeVante Adams. They are going to end up dealing a bunch of assets for some #2 and treating him like a #1. That’s their established pattern. From Robbie to Hurst to Sanders.
  6. Panthers are going to do something stupid like trade for Jerry Juedy….the Miles Sanders of WRs and pretend he is something he isn’t. whoever is in charge of our offensive talent acquisitions needs to be fired. And then everyone above them.
  7. Yeah moving up for no QB In particular was Tepper and I think the Bama “winner” was Tepper steered too.
  8. I haven’t seen/heard that one. Maybe so. Not sure why CMC would feel the need to bullshit with other NFL guys about it. But I guess there is a chance the disgruntled look wouldn’t be the brand image he would want out there
  9. Because David Tepper was looking to change the narrative and andid excitement around his joke franchise. Trotting out Dalton to slowly bring in Bryce doesn’t do that. It’s all been a hype machine of nonsense post Rhule. And now they are paying for all that bologna.
  10. CMC is on record claiming at the time he was shocked and angry they traded him. https://www.si.com/.amp/nfl/2023/03/02/christian-mccaffrey-anger-panthers-traded-49ers
  11. The Panthers pretended a committee RB the Eagles didn’t want because he wasn’t diverse enough….was a major add. They called this an all star staff. A plug in QB roster. so when the Panthers say they are all on a big time WR….they are probably talking about some random practice squad type. There scale is different.
  12. They don’t want to come here. Devante Adams literally complaining about losing and limited time.
  13. A 16 seed had never beat a 1 in March Madness ….until they did. Anything is possible. Likely? Nope. all about matchups and schedules. And how much effort some will put in once it all becomes pointless I think we stumble into 3 or 4 after the bye personally. Gonna catch a team at some point that gives one or two away. That’s just football.
  14. I think that talk of being in on a top tier WR….is Tepper. That’s the worrisome part.
  15. Mike Tomlin would be awesome. But that's fantasy. Tepper was rumored trying to oust him. And Tomlin could basically go anywhere he wanted.
  16. Hate I can't embed tweets anymore. Someone hit the biggest problem on the head for those in BOA. They were so busy blowing smoke up everyone's butt coming off Matt Rhule....they are facing the consequences. Narrative vs Reality - only a QB away - all star coaching staff - win now - playoffs in a weak division None of that was actually true. But they wanted to get people excited after so much suck. Should of borrowed that line from Matt Rhule about Jay Z.
  17. maybe it will even out. Because Tepper gave Matt Rhule way too much time.
  18. that's the million dollar question. You never actually know where the bad decision rests. What was Rhule what was Fitt. What is Frank and what is Fitt. What is Fitt and what is Dave. maybe I want something different now Dave....is the one pushing for the WR.
  19. It would basically appease people over the bye week. "They did something". But it changes nothing in the short term. All it takes is a week of football and everyone would be just as enraged with a L to Houston.
  20. He can fire Fitt. That really the only place to go when it comes time to feed the angry football god. Which does nothing to make us better today. Can't even blame the OC when it's Frank call the plays out of his core O. But Frank has done it before.
  21. we don't need to imagine it. Steve Smith was not a happy man in 2010.
  22. Gross, Wharton, Kalil was probably the best center to left side in Panther history.
  23. NIL doesn't exist. That was just an idea that quickly got polluted. It's just pay to play. Bags of cash to rent players. Millions. That's just flat out professional football. And unlike the NFL, it's not designed for parity. Never really has been but this will continue to make that way worse. There will be schools that embrace the pro aspect and have the dollars to do so.....and then there will be colleges without the budget nor want to be part of the minor league NFL system. It will kill a lot of the tradition along the way IMO. early stages, but you can basically take Deion Sanders and Colorado as the textbook case and push what they are doing forward. Now take that model and have Bama doing that post Saban with the money and want. It basically is going to take the flawed under the table model/booster model....and inject it with steroids. But instead of bribing high school kids you can just go build a legit college all star team year to year. So take a Marvin Harrison Jr? Well, in the future he won't stay at Ohio St once CJ Stroud leaves. Someone will just pay him a couple million to play that final season for Georgia. But who knows. Last decade it basically was Bama, Clemson, UGA Ohio St, OU and Michigan, ND. So maybe nothing matters.
  24. nah, people don't want Bryce to be Cam. People want a #1 overall QB we traded up for gave away fan favorites for.....to have the basic physical tools that are generally standard with QBs drafted in that manner. Bryce doesn't have the arm to make a lot of NFL throws. That's just a reality. Especially in today's passing league. They are off the table. Too risky given he doesn't have the velocity. And he is built like my middle schooler. So he isn't going to be able to keep plays alive on occasion by breaking through contact that gets to him. Bryce just isn't the standard of today's NFL. Doesn't mean he can't be good. Doesn't mean he doesn't have his own strengths. But Bryce is limited physically in a way you generally don't see from top tier NFL prospects. And that is tough to swallow.
