Could you imagine Bryce playing yesterday on the Saints team? I mean we saw a version of such his rookie year (only Bryce’s scenario was much better) 0 points would have been scored
-
lol….you are suggesting if Bryce shows he isn’t the dude one more time and has one more bad game…..you would finally change your stance on him? That isn’t true. It would just be excuse making. He is what he is. Another game isn’t going to change anything. I want the TEAM to take advantage of this luxury and grow and learn from it. Not for it to be wasted. So I expect and support Dave to keep doing what he has been doing

Cam Newton WILL BE the honorary keep pounding drummer Saturday

Has Luke done the drum? You get the same chant from the crowd and everyone knows him. -

Is there even a single picture up of Cam at BOA? I think there is something there between some folks that isn’t resolved We probably will get Jake or someone tight with the org. bit 10000% SHOULD be Cam. But I just don’t see it until it happens -
I mean it is. Thats literally how we have won most games or had the opportunity. The formula to win gives you the opportunity. It doesn't guarantee it lol. Thats how we beat the Rams. Beat the Packers. We had opportunity Saturday. Putting it on Bryce from the jump is the definition of a losing strategy. Even most Bryce stans know this. You just what to argue
-
you are partially right. We lack the key playmaker. It's the QB. Instead you fixate on why everyone can't lift up the guy who is supposed to lift them up. RBs would make more guys miss if Bryce put the ball on them at the right time. Those get pointed out often live during the game. But he is late with most things. So the advantageous windows close and they become dump offs. Bryce is part of why the screen game never sets up right. QBs that want to attack downfield do. QBs that need Tyreek Hill.....aren't QBs that attack downfield. See Jake. You could give Jake Delhomme one big body possession WR. He was a downfield attacking QB. And so he would go to town downfield with just Moose as his WR. We saw that play out as well. And John Fox wasn't scheming up throws for Jake downfield. He was mostly begging Jake to please be safe lol.

We have an entire season that tells that is exactly how we lose. The formula to win is a clear science at this point we run. We hope it is ugly. We sit back on D and hope to capitalize on mistakes. We ask Bryce to make about 2-3 real throws in favorable setups. We hope in the 4th quarter we are in a one score game. your formula is how the score would be 30-0 at the half It’s a tough way to win games but it is what it is. You are dependent on the other team to not have a good days. Do we want a chance at another miracle or do we just want to lose it out the gate? Dave is going to try to win I would think. That’s the whole point. Not some Bryce fantasy being forever wished

he accidentally stumbled into the point people have made all season he has been arguing against lol

It’s a great comp IMO. He was bad, just like Bryce. And the folks then kept saying the same thing…..if we can just add more around him he won’t stink. it’s not his fault. Same folks were fixated on the most marginal improvement. He had his big year 3 too lol. they even have the same parallels of BARELY surpassing 3k for the only time in year 3. Only Joey wasn’t in the passing era then and their career comp % are pretty comparable at the time if you factor the era difference. and we are trending very similar as that era of the Lions adding all the first round WRs trying to make the QB not stink
-
Yeah, Harrington was an example I gave of a bad QB that got time. You should of just left at that boss what you are comparing them for? Different eras and times, Harrington’s rookie year, league average was 59%. League average today is 64%. Bryce didn’t get his above 60 until this year and is still below league average. He and Harrington share that in common and you are highlighting it as Bryce being good lol. They are both BELOW and behind the league average. Bryce has improved and we are the 27th best O in the NFL thanks to his marginal improvement from horrific. Go find a bad QB that got time…..and you would find people were claiming improvement lol. They were doing it for Harrington then too.

it didn’t even take a day to get crazy Rams are #1 in yards and points. It’s a horrible matchup. We literally need lightning to strike twice. At the same spot.
-
I mean statistically he was better in just about every way you can slice it. People have shared the head to head on that. With a visual for ya. But as I said, call it a push. One has better physical tools than the other. How is that not an immediate problem for the staff. I mean, you know a lot of the fanbase would automatically start asking for Trubisky. NFL players would see Trubiksky do things in camp and so would the media. Thats problems coaches don’t want so I don’t see how you can add a legit backup until you are ready and ok with moving on. Bryce could beat him in a camp battle maybe. But you have to essentially be cool with that to bring in a legit backup caliber QB.
-
Wilson only got 2 years. He was a backup going into year 3. Easy to forget because the Aaron Rodgers era ….lasted a play lol. Folks got way more time in the era Carr played in than today. Joey Harrington would be an example. QBs no longer are afforded that. Well, one now is.
-
I mean, the Rams are just a flat out better team on both sides of the ball and sideline. No screw job is really needed. And we already had our miracle go down. Folks also just need to prepare we are the inferior team and it won’t take a rig job for us to lose that
-
My question is what is a legit backup and then how does the staff do that and not create an auto issue to deal with. because a Trubisky is a legit backup for a Josh Allen. He is better than Bryce. And that creates issues. * and if you what to be generous, he is the same tier with better tools. That’s issues in house to deal with
-
Yeah, but it gives Canales the move off Bryce in season. I’ve talked about him since midseason. It’s what a good team would do and then you just have a legit competition. But that’s why there is zero chance of them adding a QB like that until they are ready to move on. It’s an instant issue for everyone involved if Bryce is default 1 with a better QB behind him. Auto headache in house. Media, players, you name it. Immediately, a big elephant in the room so to speak. Which teams avoid

Ball and things won’t bounce like this 2 straight seasons and the schedule will be tough. They will be extending a dude that has lead a bottom tier O for what will then be 4 straight seasons and a losing record all 4. and we deserve Tepper at that point because too big of a % has cheered on the stupidity when we shouldn’t have along the way
-
Edit- I had it wrong .
-
Yep, a Trubisky tier QB is ideal. It lets Dave come off Bryce and gives him the path to do so .
-
the Carolina Panthers 27th ranked O in yards 27th ranked O in pts 26th ranked pass O mid seems a tad on the generous side
-
He is Tim Teb0w variant and his defenders are doing a Skip impression on repeat. no offense all game. Essentially every week. Then a random drive in the 4th quarter occurs in a game that makes little sense of how we still happen to be in it for it to matter
-
Best odds would be 49ers to get lucky. Rams are vastly better than us and that win was 5 plays that absurdly determined a game where they were superior than us every other snap
-
I’m not saying spend a top draft pick on it but you can often find a legit slot play for cheap pending the year. We got 2 legit starters. We got a decent project in Tremayne. Outside of that Renfrow, Moore, XL all should be considered gone. And Horn is just too small and gimmicky to be the 3 for me
-
Hmm…seems like you accidentally replied to my question with a random post. I’ll try again, what should we tell Patriot fans that lecture the devoted never leave no matter what Panthers fans…about being not good enough Panther fans? We could direct confused people about how to reply to such your answer. Thanks again!

No us hating the division title. But not popping champagne over a default title the freaking Falcons won a losing team is also a position that can be taken.
