  1. yeah, as the it currently stands....it's bologna. If you don't want to ban it then you got to tweak the rules surrounding it.
  2. Given that vid/stat is only clean pockets with no pressure? I would assume the other throws. BY overall on target % was bad.
  3. I wish there was a way too log how many yards/TDs Ted Ginn Jr left on the field while wide open downfield......and Ted still had a good year despite all that. A prime Cam with a legit downfield WR would have be something
  4. that's a reflective, hindsight viewpoint......that can be attached to people no longer here. I mean, we can all read what Gantt says in real time about this org. He is their employee. He has a job to do and it's to make them look good.
  5. Darin Gantt is a Panther employee. He has nice things to say about things going into every year.
  6. People were super high on the OL coming off the ending Steve Wilks had with this team. Folks were billing it as one of the strongest units we have gone into a season w/. They also convinced themselves that Miles Sanders was an awesome add. OL and run game were locked up going in. They loved the vet adds of AT and Chark to help Mingo/Bryce. . BY was basically a can't flop pick to go w/ an all star best ever staff. Talk here got wild at the time.
  7. I’m okay with Auburn Tigers. Pretty solid when going that route. Especially first rounders
  8. And yet people can’t understand why we can’t pull off back to back winnning seasons. It’s not hard to figure out. It’s probably the most simple problem I have seen. Draft Tigers, not Gamecocks. Science. *FAs don’t count. Not science. We have done that before. Hopefully this one is better than that last experiment
  9. If you took a hot tub time machine to the huddle at this time of 2023…..it was a roster that rivaled 2003 with the bonus of an all star staff
  10. This is Panther football!!!! He gonna be catching redzone fades in the endzone! Believe dat! * Disclaimer: Dabo Sweeney is actually 9ft tall and 400 lbs….but the podium hasn’t been altered.
  11. I mentioned it pre draft but I'd be open to Curtis coming back if the Bills cut him. Think that would carry better odds for slot help than Renfrow.
  12. full disclosure. If Hunter Renfrow makes the team and is a fraction of what he was......I will go full PJ Walker supporter mode. He will auto go to mystical status where all answers would be found.
  13. Renfrow is my college GOAT. But a long NFL career was never in the cards for him IMO. I'll be shocked if he still has it. Plus, I think those Renfrow routes he stormed the NFL w/ had a film shelf life. To me, if we want a lotto pick to hit......it's gotta be Jimmy Horn we want to hit. but I maintain, we need AT out of hogging up those slot reps. I still say it drastically keeps the ceiling of O production down. I support a heavy mix of whoever into the slot. Coker, Horn, we need YAC.
  14. and we are still way too dependent on what will be a 12th year AT (who debated retirement) and didn't stay healthy last year. AT should be a teams #4. He remains our actual #1 target.
  15. I was more referencing the Panthers putting him out wide on the outside at WR. He wasn't a tweener in the context we were moving him around. That should of never been on the table. But yeah, gadget 3rd down RB or slot WR? Tweener in that regard. Sure.
  16. I don't think Samuel is even a tweener. He is a slot WR that you can scheme some quirky stuff for around the line of scrimmage or backfield. Never made sense to draft him in a draft where you draft CMC though. CMC was going to eat everything you would essentially draft Samuel to do. And oddly enough, his best year......CMC was hurt the whole year.
  17. Curtis Samuel could take it to the house. Sadly, we only used him properly 1 season.
  18. 31 teams in the NFL are going to start Deebo over AT in the slot.
  19. I will say, I do like what you did right here. Independent of whatever yall are debating.
  20. Didn't he buy Foxy's old place? He isn't just a member, he could watch from his window.
  21. talk about a swing, from the hottest team in MLS to the coldest.
  22. you generally don't get to pick your nickname. If you did, we would all have super cool ones.
  23. every year of the Tepper era we enter a season where people are thinking the light can be seen. Varies year to year the number claiming we are finally climbing out of the gutter but it always exists. Hell, there was a movement here in Rhule's legit lame duck pointless last year year where he was forced to pull the blackballed Ben McAdoo out of the gutter getting hyped. I'll believe it when it actually occurs at this stage. I still contend the constant in the Tepper era has been random parts being put together. I still think the QB doesn't match the weapons and coach. So we will see. I'm still expecting a bottom 3rd O and D this year. I think what our opponents happen to look like will largely define our record. But I think we still hover in the 6-7 win world.
  24. if that game was officiated honestly/good....the Panthers win. They weren't going to let Cam get that win when they could of added another bonus on the lore/legend of Peyton Manning.
  25. I feel all lower paced sports will struggle going forward w/ eyeballs. I mean, America's pasttime might do a good job of ripping off the youth/parents with forever baseball and 58 little league world series each year you can play in......but MLB is a tough watch vs other sports. Golf the same. We are grooming humans to need constant action thanks to the magically internet. Hard to watch a game where the "action" and excitement might be a moment once an hour.
