Rhule’s biggest issue was QB play last year. The GT kid couldn’t throw. He looks to of solved that. Rhule’s generally had respectable D everywhere

Passing every down isn’t going to help an outmatched OL though. You let a better DL pin their ears back and go hunting essentially and every down.

Maybe they shouldn’t pass every down and actually try to have a balanced O. Life is easy on a defense that gets to pin their ears back every down and pass rush. Scheme and playcalling does few any favors at Colorado outside of it being designed to pad pass stats

D has basically been the D in Clemson. front 7 talent has consistently been the strength over the backend. Yeah, dudes get drafted. Playing on a top tier D is going to get everyone drafted. I’ve just never heard anyone praise the Clemson DBs. best NFL guy of late was the kid that went to Atl a couple years ago. AJ. Better NFL DB than college DB. All the good DBs of late IMO were part of the weak link that lost t big games (LSU and Ohio St games).

When Clemson was actually good during their run….it was always DB play that was the consistent hole. That was the key to beating Clemson. Hold up against the D front and you could beat them downfield

the only reason N Dakota St had the opportunity to win the game was horrific coaching. The final drive should have never occurred. They ended up driving the field and were 4 yards short. It only occurred because of Deion’s horrible coaching….which was instead of ending the game he wanted to showcase his son and for the game to of ended at the hands of his son throwing. HS coaches don’t fug that up. Deion was called out at the post game presser for the painfully obvious bad coaching call. His response? A bunch of silly nonsense. That apparently you shouldn’t run the clock out and win the game…if you got single coverage somewhere lol. Clown poo lol

I understand that instead of addressing things like his disaster coaching at the end of the game this past week (that highlights everything I am saying about him)......you opt to claim I hate Sanders vs addressing the points being made about him.

They improved because talent followed him. Not arguing talent did flock to him and therefore he had more than the coach prior. They have more talent now than prior. That doesn't contradict the points I have made though. You just keep bringing up my expectations. I can pull for a coach that doesn't win. That's got nothing to do with anything. The entire purpose of Sanders being in Colorado and coaching is to promote and build his son. It's why the team is in part so poorly coached. Because it's about his son having success more so than a football team......and it's painfully obvious. Again, see last week. That trainwreck coaching job at the end to make it about his son vs winning a football game.
