  1. Browns had one of the best overall rosters in the NFL for a couple years when Baker was in Clev. And it’s still a dang good roster around the QB. Baker is inconsistent. Saw that in Clev and have already seen it here. I mean he is way better than Sam Darnold. But he isn’t a very good QB. That’s why he is here in Carolina.
  2. The Browns and Giants aren’t the same level of opponent. they weren’t debuting rookie QBs. Nor was half their coaching staff out and been displaced for weeks.
  3. Everyone we have brought in with a NFL resume has ended up being exactly who they already proven to be. Teddy was Teddy. Sam was Sam. Now Baker will be Baker. A QB who doesn’t elevate anything around him. That will be good and bad. ….with a horrible OC. Who will be what the NFL said he was too. The Rhule motto to be continuously wishing that people won’t be what they have proven to be
  4. Panthers had good game plans for Sam’s debut. But teams quickly figured it out it was over after that. On top of that, they were all 3 uniquely bad opponents. 2 bad teams debuting rookie QBs and a covid/hurricane team. Which means they weren’t NY/Browns caliber teams even. Way worse. Only win after teams figured out how were hiding Darnold and opponents were comically bad was Atlanta. Where we ran for 200 yards against a horrible run defense. Sam meanwhile threw for like 100 yards and a 50% completion rate.
  5. I think Rhule has to win 2 of the next 3 to stay on board. we have 3 straight home games. We haven’t won at home in over a year. It will get nasty for him if he drops those. It will get bad if either of the first two gets out to hand early.
  6. The one WR Baker has legit chemistry with and knows well has not had a single snap. I still maintain outside of DJ….the rest of the WR corp should be a steady rotation. I don’t think Robbie is good enough to dominate the % of snaps he does. He is too lightweight to be such a permanent fixture. Run blocking, more physical routes, etc would favor others.
  7. and all they did was dig a big ole hole that they now sit in. Matt Rhule, not Joe Brady was the biggest problem. Joe Brady while he wasn’t good was the scapegoat for Matt Rhule to deflect all the blame onto. Matt Rhule continues to be here. And continues to be our biggest problem. And the Rhule offense continues to get worse and worse post Joe Brady. And the trend continues this year of getting worse….despite MUCH better talent and a “real” OC. Matt Rhule is the actual problem. Snow, McAdoo, Brady, etc are all symptoms of the problem. We can’t rid ourselves of Tepper so Rhule is as high as we can go to fix the problem and the one that matters realistically.
  8. We have a half decade of football that shows Sam Darnold is at his worst when he has time. Time gives Sam more time to think and it always goes predictably bad in the end. He doesn’t see and read a field well. His throws are consistently late.
  9. and I see they dropped the nonsensical but we only had 50 something plays so we just couldn’t bologna. Given the rest of the league as no problem presenting opponents with lots of WR options to present various looks and get their guys in the flow. Even with 50 something plays.
  10. Another weekly reminder of why Ben McAdoo is a bad OC that the rest of the league cast aside
  11. Sam historically plays his worst when he has time/protection There is a half decade that backs that.
  12. most teams lose because they don't know why they lose. the most ironic statement ever made by Matt Rhule
  13. It's not too early to say what the actual and primary problem is in Carolina. It wasn't Joe Brady then. And it's not McAdoo now. You can say it. I'll hold your hand. First name is Matt.
  14. It's just straight up facts. You seem to like skipping past that. McAdoo is getting less offensive production out of our O than Brady did. And Joe Brady wasn't good. All the talk you do, why you running from this discussion. You dug your heels in deep to McAdoo would be our savior from Joe Brady. So just say it. What WAS and IS the primary problem with the Panther O? It's starts with M.
  15. You should be missing Joe Brady vs what we have now. Joe Brady got more out of our offense with Sam Darnold than McAdoo is getting out of our offense with Baker. Brady got even more out of our offense w/ Teddy vs Mcadoo w/ Baker. And Baker is clearly the best QB of them all. I'll be happy to wear the new profile picture as a declaration that I was right and you were wrong. Joe Brady wasn't the primary problem. That's Matt Rhule. The dude still here.
  16. THIS is what we were sold as fans we did not got a college rah rah coach. I will never get the creation of Matt Rhule and how that was pimped as good enough for the NFL.
  17. told you to message it to me. my inbox is empty. I figured you didn't do it after your boy Ben McAdoo has come out even worse than Joe Brady LMAO
  18. lol. Looks like they are on their way to a funeral
  19. NFL contracts aren’t the same as college ones though. It would be interesting to know the details of Rhule’s. Buyout clauses I don’t think are as standard in the pros. For example, Petrino didn’t have one when he quit the Falcons to go back to college. Most NFL ones generally have an offset clause. So if he landed some sweet Nebraska gig after being fired and was going to make the same money in college….Panthers don’t owe him if they fire him.
  20. If that is the actual line in the sand then Matt Rhule’s agent is dialed into the college openings and he will take one of those before Tepper gets around to it
  21. Matt Rhule is a micromanger that puts his fingerprint on everything football related. this has been known.
  22. The improvement on staff was largely exaggerated. We got a solid ST coach. That was the notable add. Wilks is a fine coach but he is just a position coach. He isn’t going to really impact things if you got a weak DC and a horrible HC over him. He doesn’t have power to really change anything. HC, DC and OC all stink. It’s the worst trio in the entire NFL of the big 3 spots.
  23. My vote has always been Tabor as my first choice and then Wilks. largely because if Rhule goes, Snow goes. Easiest for Tabor to handle HC duties. Wilks will be running the D. Tabor has less going on and did a great job in Chicago managing game day last year because if covid
  24. Year 3 of the Rhule era (1000% working per the HC) - Panthers currently own the NFL’s longest active losing streak at 9 games - Panthers have not won a home game in over a year - Panthers are 1-25 when opponents score a measly 17 points - in year 3, the 2022 Panthers offense is averaging less yards than an unqualified Joe Brady averaged in 20 and 21. Brady’s averages consists of games largely without CMC. Also averaging less if just looking 2 games in each of those seasons as well.
