Id prefer a QBR measure that just included fumbles and rushing yards / TDs... I think that is the major limitation of QB rating as it stands, the modern game does include more from QBs than passing. But ESPN QBR is like a mashup of PFF rating and real stats disguised as an objective measure.

Are we including their contracts? Haha. If so I'd add Lawrence and maaaaaybe Herbert to the list I wouldn't trade for (I'd probably still take Herbert lol). I was happy with Bryce's performance and all but the op seems to think we should read more into it than I think we need to.

Bryce is IMO a little better than his numbers indicate but he's never going to win you a Superbowl (minus weird poo) from what we've seen so far. And I think the front office generally knows that. The very fact Morgan talked about making every room including QB better and being open to bringing in someone means that they aren't blind to Young's current play. They are hedging their bets he improves but yeah.

I'd be curious how our run game performed on scripted drives. It also felt like we could not adjust when teams figured us out in the run game. To be fair, some of that was because we needed the pass game to back them off and, well......

It's good to be confident in yourself but I don't really understand why he's burning bridges. I get wanting to be a feature back and maybe he was making business decisions in the second half of the season though, because he fell off a cliff. It is concerning that we have players talking crap about our coaches though.

Stroud was off at times but Panthers fans have got to be his biggest critics.

I was hugely impressed by his playoff performance and I hope he can come out and play every game with that level next season. But I'm skeptical of that, heh. Regardless of that, it's just ridiculous to try to compare him this year to Cam in his first 3 seasons (or ever).

Really sad new for Icky... Evero back is interesting... I do think he's showing that with players his scheme can be effective, but the D is really lacking talent. Canales should give play calling to a real OC. I think he may be a decent HC but I don't think he's good at doing both HC and play calling.
