Oh man he's no CMC, I said since CMC for a reason haha. But I don't think he's come down to earth - he had the best game of his career not long ago. He just still makes some mistakes but it's things I believe he'll clean up.

But in all seriousness we have to win the division. To do that, Bryce needs to play in Atlanta every week. I'm hoping that somehow we find a way to win with him... It just seems unlikely.

That's totally fair. I think it's impossible to talk about the mess that is the offense without looking at its QB. But you are right that there's mental errors. I think that when our margin is as thin as it is, those errors are more obvious than otherwise.... For instance even in the Rams blowout win, there were receivers clearly running the wrong routes given Stafford's expression after some of his misses. I DO think that Canales should consider giving up play calling to focus on game planning and preparation. I think we often have solid designs etc, execution just falls flat.

The Rusty Rifle was never a plan B, he was a friend on the sidelines for Bryce. I also think somehow this organization was completely fooled by the end of last year and the PFF metrics etc. which is an indictment in its own right. Either way it's time to move on...

Honestly, it's supremely American. Hand picked employee loved by the owner getting every opportunity while the other employees struggle to make up for his mistakes? Sounds right.

We have a Bryce Young problem and until it's resolved it's extremely hard to judge our coaching in any significant way. Canales has made mistakes, as any coach will, but he's also called plays that with even moderately average QB play would result in positive outcomes. Canales' biggest "mistake" is trusting Bryce at all, but then, maybe he's just ensuring he has a new QB to work with next year. We aren't the only team where players run the wrong routes, we just are one of a couple with a bottom 30 QB.

Somehow we draft an incredible rookie and still fans poo talk the guy. TMac hasn't shown to be soft. He isn't 100% complete but he's the best player we've had on offense since CMC.

I'm not really sure how much the FO needed to sell Tepper on Bryce. It seems like the Teppers were smitten with him after dinner.

We've been phrasing it like that all year and it's just getting to a point we are all so frustrated... Well yeah. Most of us will also say how personally Bryce seems great and it makes it all the worse that he is not a franchise player.

That's the kicker. 2 first round WRs (one that looks like a potential superstar in the making), the most expensive ol in the league, two good to great RBs... And yeah ...

Eh? Brees' third year starting he made the pro bowl and was comeback player of the year. He wasn't a HoFer yet but he led his team to an 11-4 record. His first two starting were meh but it's a totally different league now.

Maybe I was hallucinating in anger at Bryce's play but I saw receivers open all night... Just Bryce couldn't really fit the ball in the windows that existed. But admittedly I did have the advantage of watching on a tv screen where we could see over the lineman.

I can't wait to find out where he ranks on big time throws lol. Before the Atlanta game he was apparently one of the best, in the most ridiculous exposure of how meaningless some of these advanced stats are.

In the last two years/25 games, he has 4500 yards and 30 touchdowns. 700 of those yards and 6 TDs came in 2 games vs the Falcons. It's crazy to think how bad his stats are without those two anomaly games.

This is why I'm not throwing canales out yet. Bryce is so incredibly bad at the routine plays that it's really hard to evaluate ... Anything

I dunno man the plays were there to be made, repeatedly. Bryce just couldn't make them. Even that dumbass 2 pt conversion, Coker had a step on his man.

I know, lol, sorry. Just annoyed at the game and the fact it doesn't seem just a Rhule quote but something the people that run this org really believe about Young.

Bryce is really good at making games competitive. Mainly games we should win easily, but also games against the Atlanta Falcons (and apparently the Packers).
