    I agree re: coaching, though to some extent, players just need to know better too. Where I think coaching failed completely was on situational playcalling.

    Yes and we didn't score the rest of the game. They had more opportunities than that first drive, they just couldn't execute.

    He wasn't the #1 reason why we lost but you can really see his limitations when teams have played him a bunch.

    Honestly this was one of the most embarrassing games to watch as a Panthers fan. The players just continually fuged themselves over.

    He also should have taken the points when we were up by 7. A two score game in the 4th is a huge difference. Edit: And FWIW, if we were the ones down, I would agree with his call to go for it there. But when you're up, it is often better to take the points.

    We went into the half with a lead and we came out of it and did actually score in the 3rd quarter. The offense failed on multiple drives to put points on the board.

    Evero's play calls were shitty and multiple defensive players committed CRITICAL errors. But they still only gave up 20 points, which we should have been able to win with.

    I'd probably put the players to #1, then Evero, then Canales and Bryce tied... but if you think Bryce is #4 I wouldn't really dispute that. I think he is really physically limited and it is showing in our playcalling.

    Bryce can't execute, so... Canales deserves quite a bit of the blame, but when your QB is so physically limiting that he can't frequently throw 20 yards down the middle of the field, or pick up a yard on the ground, you're in trouble. His best players are when he rolls out and plays break down, but that's very hard to make work.

    Bryce deserves a chunk of the blame. You can't win with a QB playing like he does reliably. Yes it happens once in a while, but he's so incredibly inconsistent that you never know what you're going to get week to week. He didn't lose us the game today or anything like that - the undisciplined mistakes of players did.

    possibly the worst QB situation in the NFC South, maybe the Falcons are worse but I'm not sure. And of course Bryce will be back next year even when we crash out of contention for the division since the pressure is on.

    The players are undisciplined as fug, it's that simple. The game wasn't rigged. It was player after player making critical mistakes. When it happens that much, it's on the coaching. This is after a bye.

    If we're all honest with ourselves, we know Bryce isn't a very good QB. He requires very specific timing and routes to succeed and defenses can take those away. Canales, though, blew the game.

    We'd be up by 3 if Canales had kicked the FG instead of the terrible 4th and inches call. Horn also just not very good vs NO.
