  1. Good point. Half of Bryce's misses at various times, especially shortly after coming back from benching, the all 22 commentators often said a dude was running the wrong route or running it sloppily.
  2. We have soo many holes I personally think that weapons (as in more than one) are not a huge priority, even if they would be great. We do want another good receiver, especially with AT possibly retiring, and a 2nd RB as immediate needs... I also think Coker, XL and JTS all take steps forward next year so that is part of why I'm less concerned. Coker was an absolute monster when targeted. He finished the season #10 at yards per target in the NFL - ahead of McConkey and Collins (tho eachs usage means that this isn't a fair direct comparison). His y/r was also good for 17th overall in the NFL. But if he can get his routes crisper, I think the sky is his limit.
  3. It's this, a lot of the guys with much stronger arms do get more tipped balls because they don't need to put the same arc on their passes. That and OL play does contribute.
  4. For someone that actively avoided the show, what happened with the Giants? I'd probably watch one about us, heh
  5. Right but that's also a little in contrast to big time throws which are still risky Edit: also his int ratio was very bad last year, so that's been a great improvement after his benching
  6. Imagine if Joe Brady gets a HC job already, haha.
  7. That middle image is interesting, I expected more turnover worthy throws from Bryce because he's one of the lowest starting QBs in terms of his percent of supposedly "bad throws."... But I think he tends to miss to open areas of the field where he's expecting receivers to be vs where they are. Hopefully that'll improve with time too
  8. Interesting take... "Legette had an opportunity to disrupt the seeding in the NFC playoffs in the final minutes of a battle against the Eagles in Philadelphia but dropped the potential game-winning touchdown in that contest. Drops (eight) plagued the former South Carolina star. As expected, he was a force after the catch, with eight forced missed tackles on just 49 receptions" https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ranking-every-first-round-rookie-from-the-2024-nfl-draft-after-their-debut-season-in-the-league/amp/ 2nd lowest ranked receivers. Only player lower barely played all year due to injury (and still basically outplayed Legette lol) Hopefully he makes a big step next year. We did see flashes this year, and I'm hoping the drops get better when his wrist is fixed.
  9. I wouldn't absolutely hate a QB in the 4th but we have so many holes, I'm not sure. I guess it depends how the draft falls.
  10. Maybe, but I imagine the organization means a lot more to someone than the climate. Plus Boston isn't a bad city to be in.
  11. Bryce with 89.3 probably pushes his PFF score for the year up a bit. I think he was at 70 last week overall. What a recovery! Honestly surprised Coker and Thielen aren't in the 70s.
  12. I thought Penix played very well... He made a couple of great throws, avoided pressure well enough, and had only a few mistakes. Honestly looks like a promising player for the Falcons.
  13. I'd argue the Arizona, KC, and first TB games were also very good to great. I'd say yesterday was better than those of course, but I think all 3 of those others were very high level QB play But we've seen other guys have a handful of great games and then regress, which is why I'm not sold on him as a top 10 or whatever yet.
  14. I don't think he was bad vs TB - he just wasn't great. He was under constant pressure, we were without any semblance of a supporting run game, and our defense was just bleeding everywhere.
  15. I wouldn't say very inconsistent anymore - He has been consistently good since our bye, and has been exceptional to above average outside of the DAL game. Thing is, even if we extend it to overall good play since his benching, it's still less than a season. But with 21 TDs in 12 starts, certainly promising. But he needs to eliminate games like vs DAL entirely.
  16. Evero is coming back, at least as of now.
  17. I don't think he'll really want to come here if he wants a guaranteed playoff contender.
  18. I think Shaqs presence has always been underrated though and Jewel only played 12 games this year, so I dunno. I'd argue 2020 still had more overall talent - but either way, Evero needs to go.
  19. Damn, Canales having that effect on one of our better D free agents is a really good thing. I hope we can take advantage... Of course his agent won't see it that way, lol
  20. Glenn is a really good D coordinator. Keep him out of the South, please, haha
  21. Chinn is extremely talented. That D had Shaq didn't it? I don't remember who all was healthy that year. But this D feels less talented. I'd need to look at the rosters but I'm pretty sure 2020 was far weaker at CB, a push at S, and better on the front 7...
  22. We have a couple of great pieces and we are going to need to revamp the rest of the D entirely, including in the draft. It's an opportunity for a D coordinator to truly build their own D. That could be attractive to a lot of guys.
  23. I think he's just saying that having a vet presence is going to help a guy learn the ropes in the NFL. Coker does it himself, but every player benefits from vet expertise (especially from a guy that's essentially been there).
  24. Hahaha, Canales just padding Bryce's stats huh? Honestly I'm glad Miles got his, he had a great day (his only? As a Panther lol)
  25. I mean... Starting at your 42 is a bit of a short field. But the Falcons never had to punt so I don't really think the D helped the O with field position either. Lol
