  1. It doesn't look like he will ever come close to being good enough to justify that trade. You don't do that trade unless you are getting a stud. Maybe he will become an average starter is a bust with that trade. I also don't see how anyone can put hope into building aaround him with the lack of picks and the low level of talent evaluation they have going on around the team. If he ever makes it to average I don't think it will be here but his next team. He isn’t winning a SB with the limitations in his game so it doesn't matter.
  2. There were 2 big claims against JR, don't act like it was just jeans day that doomed him. He was too easy to push out and the team still practiced in a fugging ballroom when it rained because he was too cheap to even build a practice bubble. Tepper is trash but that doesn't make JR more than he was. This team has never had a good owner or GM. It is what it is.
  3. He was a declining coach when we hired him and he just took another step this year in the wrong direction. Plenty of the poo that went bad in Indy is on display here with his all-star crew. I have no idea if these people can turn it around, even next year. I was never high on the entire crew, even the possible positives are not matched well to flourish. I don't even feel bad for Frank. He should just retire. It would be a mercy to everyone but his opponents.
  4. Thinking of who filled the PR void when Rhule had his key taken and what condition it was left in by that point. The worst part of this bot is that it's probably what Tepper thinks. Keep Pounded
  5. The dream met reality. It was way overhyped, all of it.
  6. It's so bad and there really is no sane reason to think it's going to get better.
  7. I think there are 2 types of tanking. Activity trying to lose games in games is just not a viable option in a competitive sport with so few games. Losing and then trading players for draft capital while losing more is absolutely a viable strategy. You actually need people that can evaluate talent for those picks but it's a great way to start a rebuild. There isn't much to trade away or build around here now and there absolutely isn't any talent evaluators worth wasting hope on either.
  8. The talent evaluation part is what kills me. I can't hope for them to build anything anyway when that part has been so awful and yet scary consistent with different people.
  9. Tepper doesn't know how to tank or rebuild. All he knows is chasing the next thing that leads to winning. It is so much worse than that.
  10. Bryce Young is officially the most overrated player on this team. Just let the kid go out and ball or fall on his face. There is not a lot to defend on this team right now and there is a lot to criticize, way too much. If you don't like that then I just don't know what else you expect at this point. If the criticism is fair than it's not hate but reality.
  11. I still bet he goes on to ball. I wonder if they where they want to play him. It would be good to see what he can do with a better everything environment.
  12. What do interceptions or missed passes matter? At 0-5 the only good thing is you can stop playing to not lose and go try and win. Let it rip or stop talking about it magically appearing at some point. I have no idea what they will do but I will keep expecting more of the same because that is the only trend that has stuck around. People failing and just keep doing the same stuff while saying a bunch of BS along the way. That's the Tepper way I guess.
  13. Just IR him and June 1st designation at the end of the year.
  14. I went and watched the long video of Manning's rookie year wondering if I was being too harsh on Bryce, all of the TDs and Ints. He was slinging it and also he was reading the line, that was a rookie that made me say holy crap this guy is going to be a baller. Lots of mistakes but right back out there slinging it. It wasn't close to what we have seen from Bryce on any level. I think you hit the nail on the head. Same noise and same product but this time it will be different...I just don't believe that and he hasn't done a thing to change my mind.
  15. His mental ability was supposed to carry him but now that is in doubt too? It's a bad situation but it's been brought up here multiple times that his part in it isn't great either. Yes he is a rookie but he is also showing so little. I have zero issues with hope but ignoring that stuff and comparing him to Brees or Rodgers or Lawrence is just ayahuasca level tripping. He can't even compare to Stroud well for fugs sake.
  16. Comparing Young to Lawrence and not seeing how poorly Young matches up to Lawrence is beyond hilarious. Maybe use someone in a closer skill set? Ohh but that would just prove the point of his lack of ability. This is a fun game and thanks for the laughs.
  17. There has been no sign of hope, just them digging in and looking for a trade to help turn it around. I seriously doubt they do jack except make a trade and then have the bot stop by to tell us all about it. Sorry but that is what I see. And if you doubt me just remember that the guy who owns the team was fine with a 5 year turn around and then they started talking 7 years according to JZ. Sorry.
  18. BS. Complete BS. There is no escaping the comparisons. He also has shown very little for a #1 pick. That is the truth. He can go earn it but he is part of the problems here. His limitations have been on display and talked about at length. If you don't like it then go do you but that is a justifiable thing if it's not just personal and there is plenty to pick over in his play.
  19. I hate to tell you that its just getting louder. All the bashing. This team is a piñata more than a football team at this point. It's not going to stop until they give everyone legit reasons to stop. I'm not sure Bryce can overcome the situation or his ability. So have a drink or tune out because everything is just ramping up for a really long season.
  20. I have no idea how they can get so much wrong. It is so bad that all I see is failure across the board. Bryce not being able to play any pro formations do not help. Or the long drop backs. This could help with him holding the ball too long but why they didn't just start with a quick passing game and not stuff that takes too long to develop is beyond me. I seriously am not convinced he can see enough in the NFL. Not his brain but his eyes. He escapability did not translate to the NFL they wayany have hoped for. I just don't know how to overcome that combo of hurdles. We could do some power running with this line but not out of shotgun. It's a mess
  21. Thay can give us a 5th/6th for eating that 13 mil?
  22. That is the stuff that makes all of this so much worse. No one looks good for any of this. I really don't understand skipping the basic rookie approach of working them up from the beginning with a decent run game. They really didn't need to reinvent a whole new process of whatever the fug all of this is.
  23. He looks like it's time to wrap it up. He has zero hunger left. Next up HOF time.
  24. So we went from vanilla preseason to him making adjustments on the line that is just getting taken away in week 6 at 0-5? WTF came up with this process? What have they seen the first 5 weeks that leads them to believe they shouldn't be treating him like a normal rookie? Were they not already dialing it back down and they left this in there? This should have been done week 2 or week 3 at the latest. It really is worse this year and I don't understand how anything can be worse than the Rhule stuff. Just wow
