  1. And Bryce would need 4 more quarters to get that kind of meaningful production. Vikings at home vs Seachickens in their house? The fact is Bryce looks a lot worse than a washed Dalton anyway you try and spin it.
  2. The word is 'limited'. As in 'he is incredibly limited as an NFL player'. The upside? He doesn't throw a ton of picks, just like TDs...
  3. Dalton already proved that the WRs were not getting the same production with Young. The oline is playing poorly but Dalton could score 2 TDs on an offense that scored more than 20. But he is a vet backup well past his prime and the other is a rookie #1 pick and that makes it allright? BS
  4. Both. It's about balance. Running or passing. Offense or deffense. It needs a bit of both because completely lacking either will be incredibly difficult to overcome. I don't see enough of either with the Panthers. Even Rhule could pull out some wins, this is something else which is just amazing when you look at it in that context.
  5. I hope the Bears get Eli Manning'ed with those 2 picks.
  6. This board has been so much more fun than the team for years. I come here because it's the last Panther related content of value. The games are truly pathetic. Every game makes Thursday night games look like the SB. This years Thursday night game may make amazon renegotiate their deal because that game shouldn't even be aired.
  7. The fact that option is a legitimate option is proof of how bad this entire situation really is in Teppers' house. Or trade him for a 5th or less, let Dalton get a few wins, take a shot at a Purdy in 24, probably miss, have more hope & fun while still picking top of the draft in 25. There isn't anything to develop with Bryce. Either he is going to start taking hits and still toss the ball like an NFL QB or he is always going to be a very limited player that could easily be replaced as far as roster spot goes.
  8. I think we have to give them away at this point and I'm not sure anyone would pay the transfer fee...
  9. It is just so obvious. IDK. As the season goes on there will be more pressure building. Anything could happen. Worst case they find a way to IR him and do the entire silly attempt over again next year. 3 games in and it looks like Bryce is having a tough time. I doubt the next 3 will help. This really could get ugly enough to change the token 2nd year approach. We will see...
  10. Cam also had 2 good RBs that he ran for almost as much yardage as each. I think both were within 150 yards on the year as Cam. The compaisons ate not fair because Cam looked like a stud and Bryce looks like a dud. It's not fair but that is the reality of the situation.
  11. That is the complete opposite of what I said. He looks terrible and the whole 'he is on the team and the QB' means nothing to me. It's just another mistake that they can try and fix or look like fools trying to prop up. I'm not even sure Bryce can make it as a backup at this point.
  12. Make Caldwell the interim HC and let the coordinators handle their sides. Everyone gets to audition for their new jobs next year. Hire a new GM before the end of the year. Or drag arse through this season and build around their mistakes and watch it be worse next year. I know which one fits the Teppers MO.
  13. Young has nothing to support. He has no upside. He is just here. One of those is worth supporting and the other should rightfully be called what he is. Not good enough and a huge issue, just like most of the rest of the team.
  14. That is the ugly reality we may have to deal with. How bad does it have to get for Tepper to get over himself. 29 years sounds very possible.
  15. Or whoever Tolbert says to use. He needs help desperately. The whole 'fail miserably until you fall backwards into something good apraoch' isn't going well.
  16. Tepper needs help to even make a simi decent hire moving forward. Someone to inject some stability into his process. It's doable but he would have to change his habits and so far it's been a ton of the same BS with different names.
  17. I couldn't tell Cam's personality when he was drafted. The talent was obvioysly there but I didn't know which way he would break with who he was but I also thought his competition was just awful in that draft. He turned out to be a great guy and it was obvious early. I never had confidence in Bryce. I don't watch college ball and IDGAF about it past the draft prospects. It's a sloppy and boring game to me but I also get why people find it entertaining. He just looked like a guy who would bust in the NFL. His physical tallent damn sure should have been in question along with the combine opt-outs. He could make reads but there was nothing else there for me. His escabability looked pedestrian, fine for that level but not the NFL.
  18. Trust the process... That is so much worse then just plain bad. How do you make Jordan look serviceable. Even for a rookie that's just so awful.
  19. Please just ask for a trade so we can bring all of that to an end. I have no idea why he wouldn't at this point.
  20. He was a free agent. He did this to himself. I feel bad for the guys on rookie deals and that's about it.
  21. And Tepper almost netted Watson but the Browns bit that bullet. What if is a bad game to play with this team.
  22. Maybe. He is just a sad blah. Plus most of the people that were hyping him will soon be tearing into him. IDK, he is so forgettable if you are not a panthers fan.
