BS. Carr helped Carr himself. In both cases their playing style is a train wreck in the NFL. That 1st interception was from the pocket in the new scheme and it melted down in 1 play.

On the football side he was directly involved but this year he was more aware and worked the PR side, that was the only real difference. He was always built for school ball and NFL practice. I said it when we traded up to #1. He was never going to be it. I have no tolerance for the people carrying on with the charade f9r Tepper. People here are already making excuses for them and they are as much of the problem as Tepper by feeding his BS and digging the hole deeper for him. They took the job of the charade so fug them all at this point. They do have the rest of the season to prove something but it's hard to scrape hope together for people that thought this had a chance of working.

Same shite different year. It wasn't Hurney 2.0. Them it wasn't Rhule but Brady. Then it was Rhule and not Fritterer. Then it was Fritterer and not Morgan. Now it's not DC? Yes he is part of the problem and hasn't earned anything and does have to justify his contract and real reasons he should stay. He isn't the only problem but to say he has done a good job is complete BS. The team is unprepared and he doesn't look like he has a clue once the cheerleader shtick stops working.

Evero is overhyped due to the vast ineptitude around him and not because he is great. It's not a stacked D for sure but to show up that unprepared in year 2 is unforgivable.

The team building is frustrating. I think the D should improve but they showed up so poorly prepared that it's hard for me to expect much of it going forward. Watching a healthy Horn get burned after all the 'shutdown corner' talk was brutal from the little talent they have on the roster. I still think it's the people Tepper hires and not the 3-4 itself. Tepper does not hire well and his active manageing skills appear to be even worse. Morgan's hype was mostly past love, his roster is a mess and wasn't anchored in the reality of the situation. It took 1 game for the wheels to fall off that retool. DC is not prepared to be a HC, it's not close. He certainly isn't ready to be a HC that calls the game. He needs to let that go and focus on being a HC. It's another giant mess. They need a massive rebuild where they leave the past in the past and find the change they have avoided since Tepper got here. No dragging the past into it or it will be more of the same.

The D has to play better to allow the run game time to work. They should also abandon the idea they are not a run first team completely. That's not DC's bag but he had better adapt to it or go find another QB option that fits his style. He is also going to have to simplify the passing game to Young's real ability. That's going to take a lot off his table of options but that is what this is. Having to play with Young not under center and then be a run first team is a nightmare scenario. It honestly looks like abandoning Young and finding a PJ Walker type QB would be a vast improvement which is wild.

Baker is a better QB. I will never understand the Darnold love here. He had people believing for 3 games here going nuts before the bottom fell out.
