    In my opinion yes. I am convinced they are following direct orders from Tepper and have not been allowed to rip off the Band-Aid.

    By no means am I sold on Dave and Dan but Morgan played NFL football at a high level and knows what he is looking at. I firmly believe Tepper anchored these guys with Bryce and told them they had to try to fix him before moving on. Dan has made enough decent moves to convince me he understands how to build a team.

    Woof. Dave and Dan are smart enough to understand what the deal is with Bryce. They just have to convince Tepper that we have to move on.

    I’m certainly willing to take that chance. Your guy #4 would have a much better chance at high level production with a QB willing to cut it loose and let players make plays.

    For me it is a selfish wish. I’m tired of my eyes bleeding while watching Bryce try to play QB.

    Yes that leadership council thing is total nonsense. The coaches make the damn decisions. Period. It’s ok to get input from veteran players in a private setting but this kumbayyah nonsense is for the birds.

    Bryce and XL and potentially Rico would be likely candidates.

    He’d be an upgrade for sure ( so would just about anyone else) but I doubt Houston lets him walk. They seem to have reservations about Stroud and want a solid backup. Unlike our approach because we don’t want to hurt the lil guy’s feelings.

    Mr. S, there is only so much canales can do if a team sells out to stop the run. Bryce isn’t capable of exploiting that. You can’t eliminate that talking point from this conversation because it is THE reason.

    Correct, there isn’t one. We went all in on the outlier of all outliers and lost. I swear if they extend him and devote huge cap space to this mediocrity I will lose my mind.

    It is ok to agree to disagree Mr. Scot. You generally add a lot to this board. I myself have seen enough of Bryce to believe we need an upgrade at QB. He is who he is at this point and is a huge limiting factor in how effective our offense can be.

    No one is saying much because no one believes Canales until he actually starts Rico and gives him time to get into rhythm. Dave is a smooth talking snake oil salesman most of the time.
