He came across poorly in this, very unlikeable. I cringed when he said “they” in reference to Carolinas don’t know how to deal with snow. He’ll never be one of us If you know what I mean

For real?

Charlotte FC is awesome, no reason to hate on them just because they're not football

Fair point. I think we were always stuck in purgatory where the owner / GM never were willing to fully reset the roster and get a top pick without having to trade assets. It's no coincidence that the good franchises like NE are able to rebuild so quickly, the right way.
-
Wish we did continue to roll with Darnold, but honestly we had no future with Fitterer as our GM, we still would have been terrible
-
We weren't picking top 5 when we drafted Bryce. We gave up the haul because we had to trade up from 9 to 1. No reason to think we couldn't have done the same the year after. We would have either gotten Drake or Caleb.
-
Since people are taking a bow on being right about players months before they were drafted. I was right about Drake Maye over 3 years ago! Even I didn't imagine he would be a couple of votes away from winning the NFL MVP award his second year in the NFL.

That was cool and more insightful than I expected.

I agree, unfortunately Styles is likely to be gone to the Cowboys at 12 if not sooner.

Very intrigued how Morgan and Canales handle the offseason

Exactly he acts like you can’t draft for need and still get value -

1. Have to draft Ickey's replacement in the 1st or 2nd round, high chance he will never be the same and he wasn't dominant to begin with. 2. Yes - pay him before he gets more expensive. Right now, he can be had reasonably cheap given that he still needs to prove he can stay healthy and have a full season of WR2 production. 3. I think you keep him on the roster and see if he is willing to work and improve. If he doesn't you simply don't pick up his 5th year option after this year. 4. See #1 5. Draft best available in either 1st or 2nd round. 6. I think RB room is set, hopefully Brooks shows promise and takes over half the carries. maybe draft another one in the late rounds 4-5 for depth. -
If you're frustrated with Evero's zone scheme and playing too soft of coverage, wait until you watch actual tape of Sean's defense.

Wow I don't remember that. Imagine if they gave it to Bryce, this place would implode

I thought this was fantastic insight and probably best predictor of WR success in route running and creating separation. It’s what top receivers do including TMac which is why we always say he runs so smoothly. It also painfully reminds me that this is what XL aka “Kadoosh” is bad at. He has speed but is the opposite of smooth and his shoulder plane dips and rises make him an easy WR to cover.

Diego Pavia measures 5'9" at the Senior Bowl

Bryce would have been wise to get the human growth hormone when he was in high school. He should have known he'd be too short as a QB based on his dad's genetic. -

I kid you not - the Pro Bowl is now a complete joke https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/shedeur-sanders-added-to-the-afc-pro-bowl-roster The Browns haven’t settled on a head coach for the 2026 season, so it’s unclear if Shedeur Sanders will remain the team’s starting quarterback after a seven-game audition for the role to close out his rookie year. Whether Sanders gets that shot or not, he’ll always be able to tell people that he was a Pro Bowler. According to multiple reports, Sanders, who was a fifth-round pick last April, has been named to the AFC roster for the Pro Bowl Games as a replacement. Josh Allen, Drake Maye and Justin Herbert were the original AFC quarterbacks selected for the roster. Maye will be in the Super Bowl and the other two players dealt with injuries in the final weeks of their seasons, so Sanders may not be the only replacement added to the squad. Sanders was 120-of-212 for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions in eight overall appearances.

JT Sanders has been such a disappointment. I really thought he'd be good after his promising start to the rookie season.
