  1. I really don't want Green going to one of our division rivals, he may be the best of the bunch when it's all said and done, his previous off the field issues and not being on a better program are the only reasons he isn't discussed more in the top 10
  2. No way we pick Jalon Walker if Mason Graham is still on the board
  3. True, the only exception was Luke Kuechly in 2012, rookie of the year and was a top 10 player that year at his position easily. DB wasn't top 10, CMC wasn't top 10 in their rookie years, etc. Whoever is drafted needs to have an immediate impact though, especially on a defense that is severely depleted.
  4. There's still hope for Bryce, he needs a better defense and another weapon this offseason
  5. If you’re depending on a defensive scheme to justify a pick, chances are that player is not worth the top 10 pick a true talent can shine in any scheme
  6. Interesting segment about Panthers being in a potential sweet spot for trading down. In his comments, Chris Simms suggests that Jalon Walker is the most overrated player in the draft and that they should trade down because Abdul Carter is the only elite prospect. That seems a bit harsh but I have to admit Jalon does scare me as a potential bust and I would rather trade down and pick up a guy that maybe didn't have the production but has a more typical NFL size as a pass rusher. https://www.nbcsports.com/watch/nfl/profootballtalk/carolina-panthers-open-to-trading-down-if-team-wants-to-jump-before-saints
  7. If the choice isn't obvious and there's someone you really like who is projected to be available later then you trade down
  8. I will be disappointed with anything less than 8 wins this year
  9. BPA only makes sense if you're on a loaded roster. Way too many holes for Panthers to not also focus on need. That said, you have to take into account both value and depth of that specific position in the draft
  10. Watch the Eagles draft him and get even scarier on defense. He’s even better than Abdul Carter
  11. In short, Cowboys are really good in the draft but terrible in free agency or retaining their own talent.
  12. People are debating this? This is an awesome signing. He’s 26 and just racked up a 1,000 yd season. Cowboys are dumb
  13. Should I be embarrassed that I didn’t even know he was on the team?
  14. At least we will be able to stop the run. I’ll take it
  15. It’s 3 years / $45 MM with up to $9MM in incentives
  16. Splashing FA money on a safety doesn't cut it for me. Those are the guys you draft
