I generally agree, but part of the thing is Chuba is not a bad back, he was literally our offense last year. He seems to be the emotional leader of this offense as well. At some point though the goal is hopefully to split rico and chuba carries wise. An Average starting RB gets 16-18 carries...rico got 17. we cannot kill the guy and frankly I think Chuba bruises more than rico and as such I think Chuba softens the defense for rico, IE a smash and dash situation. They do both seem to run better as the game goes on the mystery will be how to maximize those players. I personally would love to see the panthers give gaves to one or the other. This week Rico, next week Chuba, but thats never been done in the NFL and Canales would be crucified if he tried. I do agree that Rico deserved the start and chuba deserved to spell, but its tomato tomahto. Rico does us no good if hes dead by week 17 running 30x a game.

thank you. THANK fuging YOU! my god, todays game thread was absolutely miserable. What I learned in the game thread was bryce sucks, chuba sucks, canales sucks, dalton sucks. Hell I discovered Corbett sucks so bad that he made mays make a bad snap. Jesus buttfuging christ. Its a win, not a pretty one, but who cares, NFL still is the NFL, talent everywhere and especially that Jets Defense has some exceptional talent even with the offense being putrid. First time over 500 in half a decade and its the end of the world. I remember us being "Insert win total" is the worst undefeated team in NFL history all the way to 15-1.

I dont remember EVER seriously EVER having so many really young players contributing on the panthers. Its like we might actually have a bright future.

Back on that Chuba pass, Im not sure if it was Tremble or Evans on the edge, but they had a terrific block to stop the rusher and give enough time for that play to set up.

My god, some of you people...the hatred for Chuba...you guys really need to take a breath. I mean, I do know Rico would have had 700 yards on the first carry of the game, he would have straight up pulled a forrest gump ran out the stadium and ran for the next 73 miles while breaking tackles from roving bands of bloodthirsty mauraders, but Chuba is fine, hes a good back in his own.

everyones audio is fuged, Im gonna guess something with the audio board fuged up. Im guessing engineer in the truck is on it just waiting for the next commercial break to officially test something, but to test things right now risks losing audio completely.

chill man, its gonna be a full split and its alright, I think Chuba's punishing style sets up to soften the defense for Dowdle is good for Rico.

I get the hot hand thing, to me, just my thought, treat them as 1A and 1B. That said, also treat them DIFFERENTLY as 1A and 1B. IMO, start Chuba, run him heavy first half, spell him on third downs with rico, then give Rico the 2nd half. ALL 2nd half. Rico was gassed toward the end, we had etienne spell him, that shouldnt happen. Let chuba grind in 1/2 and rico finish. Either this or legit just go game by game, rico gets the jets, chuba gets the bills. If you think they are volume runners, let them get their volume for a full game then rest the next week with them as an option off the bench. It hasnt really been done but I dont know why it wouldnt work and also save lifespans for RBs.
