Ladies and gentlemen, the Dunning Kruger effect.

    I'm done here.

Conversely, I think the facts are so clear it should be easy for everyone to see, but that's obviously not the case here.  I bet your investments, if any, are based off Fox News and Yahoo Finance.  Enjoy the smoke screen..... dude.

This post is ironic as hell

For Panthers fans you had better hope the Panthers goal is to drive up the trade price on Burns and get something close to what they are "reporting" they have been offered....Very simply put after November 1 the Panthers have ZERO bargaining power when it comes to signing Burns or trading him in 2023.  They will be forced to pay him what 2 first round picks is worth if he isn't traded or he will walk.

How do you hillbillies not see this?

the moronic aliases have come on strong since the rhule firing and cmac trade

I find it funny a clueless fan base that commiserates every week about how poopy their team is would want to remain clueless, rather than listen to people outside their little bubble who actually understand what's really going on here.

Again with the failed reading comprehension. You're just discrediting your own argument that Schefter isn't reporting credible information. They dealt McCaffrey, exactly as Shefter said for multiple picks.

Are you really not reading the stuff you're even quoting?

Then you can't even be bothered to write your own post, trying to be clever by parroting mine back at me. Dude. Stop. You're just embarrassing yourself at this point.

Schefter was used by credible source to up the CMC price and the information helped the Panthers achieve the highest offer possible by doing exactly what they are doing with Burns.  Stating that they will NOT trade him unless it's astronomical....Panthers are just trying to get their offers higher by reporting they won't trade for 2 first round picks....hoping this gets the price up for what they will eventually do before the trade deadline, which is trade Burns for the best offer by driving the price up.

If they don't trade Burns before the trade deadline, then Burns plays out his 2023 season and walks.  No way the Panthers can pay the equivalent of 2 first round picks in compensation for him, when they need so many more important pieces.

Oh by the way....here is another credible source about CMC just driving up his price so the Panthers can get something for the best RB in the league.

“People from those same teams say running back Christian McCaffrey is available, under the right terms,” Fowler reported on Tuesday. ‘They want a lot,’ a high-ranking AFC personnel man said. Think a first-round pick or more.”

*sighs* If someone offered two firsts for Burns, you check with your sources around the league until you identify one who confirms from the team that offered. Obviously, as the reporter you can't state which team, because that would come pretty close to outting your source with his own team.

Does someone really need to explain this Mickey Mouse poo to you, or are you the sole arbiter of how the real world works?

    Really?

    *sighs* same poo different player.

Listening hardly means the team is dealing McCaffrey. If the Panthers do not receive what they feel is a real offer -- with a high draft pick or multiple picks -- they are adamant that they will hold on to McCaffrey past the NFL's Nov. 1 trade deadline, sources told ESPN.   Adam Schefter

Does someone really need to explain this Mickey Mouse poo to you or are you still stuck to a "credible" reporters tit sucking down all the smoke screen.

    Really?

Hence the gist of my post being about good reporters verifying information through mulitples sources in different organizations. Congratulations, you've failed at reading comprehension.

Congratulations...you failed on business comprehension.  How exactly can a good reporter verify multiple sources that work for the Panthers btw on an offer that was not accepted?  Have you ever negotiated anything in your life?  Do you have a clue how the "real" world works?  I think not.

Not true, they legit such as person and newton said multiple times it owuld be tough to get a 1 for CMC.

Adam Schefter being used by Carolina to drive up CMC price...just like Burns price.

You don't think credible sports reporters verify info from one organization from other sources? That's basically the difference between guys like Shefter and the bottom feeders who just print rumors unsubstantiated.  Those guys count on people not paying attention over time to whether their rumors have any truth behind them. You know who pays attention over time?

Mr Scot.  Why dont' you ask him who he regards as credible?

You seem to be constructing a reality out of whole cloth that suits your narrative without actually worrying about what's true beyond your own opinion.

Reporters are just that...reporters.  The report the information given them.  Anyone with the slightest business sense understands the advantages of driving up the price and the best way to do that is to get the information out there via reporters.  Reporters are only as credible as their source.

If Fitterer truly called the shots the last two drafts then I'm not impressed either. I tend to think that firing Rhule without also firing Fitts implies Rhule had enough control that we don't really know what Fitts might do if he got to call his own shots in the draft, unless Tepper is keeping Fitts around for the moment just so he can make all these trades for the tank.

I am willing to wait and see whether Tepper retains Fitts through the end of the season, or at least the trade deadline. That would be suggestive one way or the other.

Fitterer will be remembered as the GM that traded CMC, whether it was a good trade or bad doesn't matter, Carolina will never be happy about that.  If Fitterer was smart he would gut this team and get as many picks as he can rather than leave parts and pieces in place that he can not retain during a partial rebuild and will eventually lose.  I would prefer he just gut it and move on along with the rest of the staff.  Carolina needs to be built from the top down with new GM, Coaches and Management who can build a team rather than continue to grab worn out parts and pieces or pay for some new parts while refurbishing others.  It's a half ass rebuild unless its 100%

Adam Shefter not generally known to be full of poo. Let me make sure I have this straight, you're claiming to know better than Shefter, with years of experience and contacts all over the league, whether any team has offered two firsts to the Panthers or not?

Let me be sure I'm clear on your position here.

What I'm saying is it's a smoke screen.  They want 2 first round picks and are saying they turned it down already to create their desired outcome.  At best, they received a late 1st and a 3rd and that's a stretch.

By the way NFL GMs lie a lot....IE not accepting less than a 1st round pick for CMC...then accepting less...lol. That was reported by the great "Adam Shefter" too.  GMs feed the press poo and hope to create the poo they feed them.

2 firsts have already been offered according to very reliable sources. Care to revise your statement?

Reliable source is full of poo.  No way the Panthers are this stupid.  Oh wait a minute, is Tepper still the owner?

  12. Carolina is gonna fug this up and beat Tampa today.  Brady is still hung over from the Kraft wedding and hasn't had Gisele kitty in months.  Fast forward 11 games and the 8-9 NFC South Panthers squeak into the playoffs only to get blown out by 30.  By this time, interim head coach has already been hired for 20 years and Mayfield was given the keys to the city along with QB1 Mahomes type contract.   Tepper has successfully cemented Carolinas doom for the next 4 years.  Can't wait.

  13. If Carolina doesn't trade Burns then they will lose him after 2023 rookie contract expires.  The guy isn't going to sign a contract and will walk.  If Burns is here after the 2022 trade deadline where teams are looking for a Super Bowl push type trade and are willing to give 2 first round picks (which I don't see anyone doing), then he will be here through 2023 and walk in 2024.  Carolina will have nothing to show for him.  Again, I don't see anyone trading 2 firsts, so enjoy Burns for the next year and a half until he has finished serving his prison sentence in Carolina.

Damn this really broke y’all’s brains.

moore should be off the table and I don’t care how old he’s gonna be when we “can compete.” The new rookie qb needs a reliable receiver from day 1 and dj is reliable and is not injury prone.

Veteran WRs and Rookie QBs don't mix well. IE Smitty and Newton.   Better examples are of Rookie WRs and Rookie QBs jelling like Burrow and Chase or Tua and Waddle.  Before you mention Diggs/Allen or Hopkins/Murray.....make sure you recognize Moore isn't even close to these WR1s.

  15. The scary part of all this is we could literally win the NFC South because the rest of the division is so bad.
Especially if Tampa comes in and plays like they did against Pittsburgh.  New Orleans and Atlanta both do not have a QB1 and are in as bad of shape as Carolina at the position.  Now that CMC is gone the ball will have to be spread out and that actually makes the Panthers more dangerous for opposing defenses.  They can't simply contain CMC, so the ball will be spread around.  If Carolina wins all 6 games against the NFC South and picks up 2 more games along the way, we will be the worst NFL Division winner in the history of the NFL.

I really hope Carolina follows through on the big tank and trades every player that isn't a part of the core defense and under 26.  DJ Moore deserves the same opportunity "loud mouth" Anderson is getting.  Hopefully they will do a CMC type "friendly trade" for DJ.

  16. They take the best QB available on Saturday...Matt Moore type guy.  These guys are convinced that the 3-0 start last year solidified Carrot Top as a starting QB as long as CM is playing and with a new OL.  I don't know if they are correct or not, but I see them running this poop back next year and not giving up on their initial decision to trade of Darnold in the first place.  They basically gave up the 2nd and 3rd round picks for the guy, so they seem all in.

Wouldn't that have been a good thing? 🤔

Bucs would be playing for the NFL Championship if AB was there period.....

and no going for mental health against your will is not a good thing...if the guy feels like he needs it then he can pay for it himself and do it discretely.

Arians pissed his last shot at a Super Bowl away.  Once Brady retires TB goes back to 3rd in the NFC South where they belong.

  18. Not sure if George Seifert is still alive sipping Blue Moon sitting in an empty Candlestick Park remembering what was.....but I can finally say there is a Carolina Coach that sucks more than him.....Matt Rhule....YOU DA MAN!!!

  19. Tepper doesn't give a ***....he bought one of 32 pieces of art in the world....doesn't matter if it looks like a steaming turd....he is making money.  Why can't people understand this.  Investors don't give *** what they buy or how well it does...they only care about making a profit.   How can you expect. guy that makes money off others work to be succesful at building anything?
