  1. He made a massive mistake with Rhule, but he seems genuinely like a guy who learns from his mistakes and is determined not to repeat them. This is a very good thing.
  2. If Mayer is there...or Ojulari...gonna be tough to pass on them. Would have to be very strong offers I'd think. I'd be thrilled if Fitts can pull off some magic though.
  3. Honestly, if a fan's behavior causes you to feel differently about anyone other than the fan, you have issues. Maybe apply some thought to your feelings. You actually don't like a kid because some obnoxious 40-year-old on the internet won't shut up about him? Seriously?
  4. I hope our opponents sleep on him as much as our fans do.
  5. Luck is always a part of it. Fitterer said you don't make that move unless you have conviction. Conviction from the previous staff meant nothing. Conviction from this staff and their combined decades of experience makes it more than just about luck. They could still miss, but the odds are better with this group than probably any group we've ever had.
  6. I could see Haener having a Fitzmagic-type career.
  7. Prediction of the year. And can't miss.
  8. They believe the earth is flat and the world is controlled by reptilian aliens because some guy on twitter told them it was.
  9. Meh. I wouldn't mind. As I've said, if our staff picks him, I'm good unless he flops. Also, pretty confident our staff, who have collectively reiterated the importance of character and leadership qualities, wouldn't pick a douchebag, but I could be wrong.
  10. He's been compared to Larry Warford. A 3-time pro-bowler would be a nice pickup in the 2nd, but I agree, he probably won't be there.
  11. The term "intangible" means it cannot be measured. Literally. Then there's this from the article: Yeah. Her magic models are gonna show us "unknown resume aspects" for each prospect? That's some damn wizardry right there. These comps are about as accurate as all the others. Nothing but guesses.
  12. They can draft Jake Haener and I'll be fine unless he flames out. I trust the staff...you know...the group that has been pretty much universally acknowledged as a tremendous NFL staff? I'll trust them until they lose that trust - just like with any other human or group of humans. This isn't that hard.
  13. So, they're smart enough to walk away if Tepper is overstepping his bounds, but stupid enough to "overlook" the on-the-field concerns...where, you know, their very fates will be determined? Makes perfect sense.
  14. Every person knows pretty much every fuging thing in every fuging thread about these fuging guys. Doesn't seem to matter to the religious fanatics who keep posting thread after thread after thread because for some pathetic reason, they seem to believe everyone must absolutely believe as they do.
  15. Luke too. No history. But LB's tend to hit a lot more people with their heads than QB's do.
  16. I know it's an unpopular comp, but Levis gives me Roethlisberger vibes. I don't think he'll be as good, but I could see his game being similar.
  17. Surely one of these guys will work, right? 4. Anthony Richardson QB Florida 35. Hendon Hooker QB Tennessee 79. Tanner McKee QB Stanford 93. Jaren Hall QB BYU 114. Clayton Tune QB Houston 132. Dorian Thompson-Robinson QB UCLA 145. Max Duggan QB TCU
