  1. Yeah 2025 big 12 football isn't the 2019 or the old 90s 3 yards in a cloud of dust anymore. They got pillaged and the scraps of the big 12, pac-10 and mid majors remain.
  2. Kaleb Elarms Orr, Louis (insurance) or Jack Kelly at LB Dennis-Sutton as an edge Darrell Jackson Jr or Capehart as 5 tech, backup run stuffers Zane Durant or Kaleb Proctor as interior rushers Lews or Hecht at C VJ Payne or Kamari Ramsey at S Tanner Kozoil at TE Prysock, Demmings or McCoy (to IR) at CB
  3. From Tennessee alone that flamed out: Jaylin Hyatt (I got fooled on that one) 3-4 years ago. Wait that's the giants with Jones so gotta be the team not the player right? Cedric Tillman is another from UT that again isn't living up to the combine or college hype. Another 3rd rounder. Wait it's the browns so gotta be 100% the team there not the player. Dont'e Thornton just last year put up a similar combine at similar size. Later pick. Didn't light it up but what that's gotta be 100% the raiders? Let's be real, Metcalf would snap this guy in half they aren't comparable at all. London was more a tactician in college than a burner like Brazzell or the tenn guys before him. Dude is 198 vs DK at 228 when he blew up the combine (and is a bigger unit now).
  4. Slow up on the HOF comps in here. He isn't in Moss's sphere if you want production, and well, no one will likely be again. Claypool or Martavis Bryant were comps as a 1 trick pony that people figures out much more apt than Randy Moss. Moss was 215 at 6'4". dude here is sub 200 when he ran at the combine. Until the combine there were lots of questions of if it was the player or the scheme. That singular 4.37 changed a lot of narratives. He isnt interested to block, and he's gonna get blown up right now as a blocker out there. Then there is all the bad history of the latest generation of Tennessee WRS to flame out despite the measurables. Little better route tree and sink than the prior guys but don't think he's gonna be a tactician to get open. Prior to the combine the other knock was didn't get separation consistently, outside just running by guys who didn't press him. Let him run free and he blows by anyone though which we haven't had since tedd ginn jr (over drafted but productive in spirts) Overall on the 3rd, it's a bold pick. As a #3 boundary guy in obvious pass downs, it's an interesting pick as a vertical threat. He can pluck the ball too. Lots of risk here but then again it's the 3rd round. Tall Ginn Jr without the blocking or return ability would be a nice find here.
  5. Like Lane too as Coker alternative dammit. Branch and Lane gone.
  6. Damn branch, robinson, london, and pitts for atl..... Do not like Branch there
  7. Damn fine pick. The arm is live and a little time behind Rodgers would help him.
  8. If you take that off the board and the reports (rumor and internet body language experts), he's slotted in around here or even as a 2nd. He is a feisty guy and a deadly return guy out of the slot. Real similar to smitty in some ways but ain't nobody really smitty. Went from USC to UGA. Was electric as a returner at USC. EDIT: Branch is the uga wr that's the slot speed merchant mentioned earlier and here.
  9. Arrested and released over the weekend, likely hurting his stock. As a player he's a gamer and has that smitty f the opponent play.
  10. Love Sutton if we wanted to stockpile rushers
  11. Thoughts on tacario davis or prysock?
  12. Didn't think he would make it to us. Love the pick. Gonna have to let him have some leway as he is young and still developing. Best OT since gross for us.
  13. Like bryce was widely considered the best qb prospect.....
  14. Welp you asked not to go with RAS. He's a 3.72 there.
  15. Dan........ 2 spots really for a NT? come on now. Hunter is a fine player, but enough to give up something to go get hi.nover who would be left at the original spot
  16. I'm down. He's a top end CB if not for the injury. Don't think it's a athleticism sapping injury either.
  17. McCoy, McDonald, and Hill
  18. please please please. not my fav OT, but Fano is fine for me at 19. might be a long term RT and yeah RT at 19 isnt ideal, but he can be a 10+ year top starter out there long term love Hill. do it all ILB we have missed for a long time. hes a plug and play ILB. Davis is a huge CB but top tier agility and speed. likely is a guy to push jackson/horn long term. he had 2 great years and a meh one in between. that pushed him here for the draftniks. tested extremely well. dont think he last this long with the testing grades and those 2 years of good/great production. Love Jones at C. zone guy, but long time starter, best C in NCCA last year..... my fav C outside Lews Roush played on a terrible team, but he is a top TE if he was on even an average team. tested well, and the speed is on film too. this is a gamble but that late sign me up for a + athlete at TE. corleone, great name, fireplug DT in the middle of the line. situational guy primarily. likely a 0 on passing downs in getting to the QB. hes there to take the lanes away form the QB/RB and let all the other guys actually get to the QB. on obvious passing downs hes on the sidelines.
  19. I think loyd coming in opens the door for a wider net of LB. We got the coverage guy now, and while the game evolves to a pass happy league, I think a thumper inside can still have a place on the draft boards. I think there are 4-5 guys in 2nd to maaaaaaybe 3r round we can look at for the do it all or thumper role. Sonny Style (not lasting) CJ Allen (little nervous on size and coverage) Anthony Hill Jr (who I want) Rodriguez (want, but there are concerns) Golday (thumper!) Trotter (run stuffer) Add a joker in Kyle Louis who is a great college player that has athleticism, but cannot peg him as a SS/FS/WLB/ILB. He just produces and a skilled DC will get a lot out of him. Great coverage guy, and quickly diagnoses a play and gets there in a hurry. Just undersized as a LB not as quick as you want for the safety roll if he gets switched onto a WR. Now RB and TE, he can cover well. Honestly a deep LB class.
  20. If its Hill or Rodriguez and Crawford, give me Hill 10 out of 10 times but think you are under estimating Rodriguez. Dude is a far more athletic than people give him credit for and as stated, he is a QB of the D, something we have missed for a long time. I too think Hill has a lot higher upside, and the top ILB/MLB in the draft. I think Hill is the prototype MLB/ILB and his production is top notch and really steps it up against top comp. i just am not that high on Crawford really to make the downgrade worth it.
  21. please please please. 1st 2 dont need any introduction. Sutton is a swing for the fences. absolute crazy athlete, with inconsistent results. if he doesn't hit his max potential, he is still a JAG+. I'm a huge fan of Logan Jones. Crazy productive captain of the best OL in football. little light in the pants today but great mobility and feisty as hell. i value high start count with production and Jones has both. tested well too at the combine. Koziol is a large post up guy with sneaky athleticism. He has a frame to grow into and may be a marginal blocker but will be a matchup issue as a receiver. ok production as a redshirt freshman and sophomore. went supernova at ball state in 2024. great production at houston in 2025. tested well a combine backing up production more than just softer competition. still a work in progress as a lead blocker. VJ Payne isn't a thumper at the FS position, but a ballhawk. great size too. imo he is gone before this or 158. He is the picture of the modern FS. ton of starts and playing time, 3-year starter, true senior and started games as a true freshman too. Caldwell is 6th rounder and for that athletic profile worth a gamble. there is DK metcalf then this guy in RAS.
