Rat face won nothing this year other than the reg season acc crown which counts for next to nothing. Glad VT could help make that happen and that duke got 2 more rainy days from UNC. Perfect. Glad he is gone. Always know that he gets calls, and ref swallowed whistles that go against the rat. What sucks is this really didn't feel like a 15 point lead for UNC ever but record books are gonna keep it as the biggest comeback by Kansas for now. At least it's not UVA level of history. This one wasn't really that big as it was down to manageable right after half so that 15 point lead really didn't tell the tail of the game.

Even with Sewell possible last year, this was/is the 2022 train I've been on. I get he is a we bit unpolished, but the athletic ability is off the charts. And it's not like the guy is raw as a player either. How the heck he isn't #1, is baffling I. This draft, but I would flip if he was there at 6. Don't give a rip that bama has not been the road for OT. They had some good ones the last 4 years and Neal is waaaaaay better in all measurables and game performances. And I saw penning mentioned, I'd be fine with him at 6 now. All boxes checked except 1. The one he doesn't have is a top D1 school beside the name. And he has the fire you like out of your linemen. It's controlled just enough not to be a flag magnet. Better than passive.

So going from the cake walk least 10 to the NFL minor league SEC? yeah Willis did that too..................
-
Seen all 3 and Willis is no comparison to either of the others. Liberty University hypes him as choir boy Vick. He's not. Hell Jackson is special, but Vick, he was different, never seen anything like him (closest was Cunningham and still not the same). Too bad he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Willis isn't even Prescott or Wilson imo coming out.

What a bad take above. VT is your acc champs!

Another restructuring for Rhule and fitterer to try and save face in 2022 while throwing away cap in future years when we actually need it and may be competitive. Why open up money for a team in 2022 isn't going to the SB...... I get why other teams pulled this when they are inside a competitive window, but we are far from that.

Stood out at the senior bowl correct. This backs up the tape (come on it should though he's way better than the league he played in) and the senior bowl reviews. Grown on him before the combine as a trade down target. Still might be able to do that, but not as far. Great combine performance today. Same with the Central Michigan exchange student lol

Right. I mean it's semi the saints way, but unlike a team that was planning on deep playoff runs, we are killing future cap space for a lost year coming up. If anything, this year and likely next are the smart years to front load contracts.... So if you are better in the future, you have space when you need it

Christian Watson just won Thursday and maybe the week.... Like wow. Wanted him but unless we trade 6 for someone's full draft 20s back he's gone. Damn want a day. And was great in the drills too. EDIT: RAS. 10.0 https://mobile.twitter.com/MathBomb/status/1499557967175237632?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1499557967175237632|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fd-6946542722260756217.ampproject.net%2F2202230359001%2Fframe.html

List your draft crushes and draft busts
chbright replied to Bostonheelfish's topic in 2015 NFL Draft
Crush prior to combine and after: Jelani Woods. His speed popped on tape and at the combine 4.61 at 6'7" and 259. 25 reps at 225. Plus he was super productive this year. -
For a no trade draft I'm not mad. Get 2 huge linemen in Neal and Smith. Best 2 run blockers, Smith is a pancake machine that will slide inside at the next level. Added my dark horse QB in Zappe a round later. Most here hope Zappe lasts because there is a void of talent at the QB spot once he's off the board. Fortner is solid, played a lot of G but moved to C for 2021. Think Geoff Hangartner for the older folks in panther nation. Ok starter at best, but great backup for sure with 3 positions he can play, and could nail down a roster spot day one so we don't over spend on a backup level FA. Partial need pick, but very experienced and held up well the last 3 years in the SEC. Considering the other options we have, he could push for the starting role. Now Jelani Woods is a guy imo should shoot up boards. Watched him a few games and he was unstoppable at times for a hug 6'7" the, he moves extremely well. He isn't a bean poll either he's a load that can play in line at the NFL level. Senior bowl got him off on draft simulators, but dude balls. Hs QB that was placed at TE early enough he could blossom year 2 in the NFL. kinda like Logan Thomas but less development required. Also he was a standout at the senior bowl in practice as a larger audience saw a healthy version as well and not a guy playing for a scrub UVA team (where he still put up good #s in a system that spread the ball out). Araiza is everyone's love at punter so nothing more to say on him.

Name something specific that would get you pumped for this season
chbright replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Because of the product we will have on the field, we need something in the stands to make up for it............ So Tepper signs off on giving free beer out for games to anyone in panther gear. -
Terrible take
-
So twfs making sure we knew they were there at the end. Bad zebras
-
This game should have been the damn SB. Game for the ages.
-
Lol what. Baby goat was destroyer of worlds after the 1st Q. Just like I thought in my post you quoted lol.
-
After today, everyone should understand you need a QB
chbright replied to AU-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Watching Brady today isn't fair: 3 probowl linemen, Evans, Gio, gronk...... He did have time today for stretches and ate them up. Same in the running game too. Now Winston back there, that team isn't the same, but damn that oline makes him look good at times with a clean pocket. -
So telling me the best 2 defensive teams rock the socks off the offensively challenged teams in the playoffs, shocking......... Bills and Bucs have silly good D. And helps both put on a clinic in offense. One has the goat, other team was out for blood. Thinking kc is gonna destroy the Steelers same way. It's down to the other 2 games to give us another good game like the raiders and Bengals.
-
100% did. Was a damn dude, bye type of handshake/meeting there haha.
-
Bills finally really have a QB. Crazy they finally found Jim Kelly's replacement after so many years in the wilderness. Josh Allen v Mac Jones, atleast this year no contest.
-
Oh this hurts considered all the panther links to the Bills.
-
Don't want Mac Jones twisting any important ankles here in the 4th.......

Seriously, Zimmer is a great fit here as HC or DC. I respect snow for what he did early, but by the end of the year, his guys were gutted by a poo offense and nothing to play for. Idk if he is 100% trash, but Zimmer is no worse and can be HC in waiting. He did have traction for years in Minny. I'm some ways, think they gave up a little too quick, in others that D was no good this year with a rockstar WR, RB, and at times QB, they still could stop people even Sam had traction at the end of the game against that bunch.... He would have a better start on D than in Minny currently, but poo on O here vs that Minny bunch. Think that Minny thinks every year should be playoffs or bust now so he had 0 room for error and we'll here he sits after 2 subpart years looking for work while Rhule is continuing down the shitter......

Oh how I would love to get zim and Spielman here. Be such an upgrade......
